Experienced and honest staff. Very smooth transaction. Rented a 150 and it ran flawlessly. If you arent an experienced rider avoid the major bridges crossing the Mississippi, dont drink alcohol and dont wear flip flops. Overall, very pleased with the scooter and the pleasant staff.

My girlfriend and I rented a 150cc scooter for the afternoon and couldnt have asked for better service. Jim took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed to have a good time. We both received helmets that fit perfectly and were in good shape, a good lock, and the scooter itself was brand new and only had about 100 miles on it. We had a great time and couldnt have asked for a better experience. The prices were also the best we could find in town. If youre thinking about renting or buying a scooter I have no doubt that all the people over at Avenue Scooters will take good care of you.

Nikki and Troy need a raise super awesome customer service and if they didnt have the answer they found it. I recommend the E45 the two batteries are awesome, the torque and acceleration are faster then anything gas.

The service department here is fantastic! Ive had 4 different vehicle makes and models and Avenue has been able to repair all of them. They work fast, their prices are fair, and their customer service is top notch.

We came down to visit for about a week and needed transportation around New Orleans. We didn’t want to rent a car so we decided to let our hair flap in the wind riding around on two. We didn’t want to do a tour so we did our own tour of the city and it’s way more beautiful riding around through the city’s best streets. Also the scooter is EASY PARKING ANYWHERE. This was SUPER fun! Avenue Scooters is great to work with. They give you a demo before hand and they help you over the phone if there is a problem. The scooters were very nice and well kept. If you are thinking about renting a scooter for a few hours, go here!!!! The streetcar stops a block away.

Great way to see NOLA. Super friendly and reasonably priced. Costs around 3 or 4 ubers around town vs driving on a jet ski on land and leaving at your own pace without masks and a funky, hot, strangers car? Done deal

The experience I had was truly every sense of the word! Starting with Adam who is always Very very busy fixing on our bikes, and when he finds the time he even will help out on the floor which is amazing! His knowledge and disposition is very sure and trustworthy(the kind of guy you want to fix your bike too). Next is Ms Nikki. She is super phenomenal! She has a particular set of skills that allow her to help the customer to a T! She knows just the right questions to ask to gather her intel and from there her customer service is second to maybe only one(Jim) and he’s the owner! Nikki has the ability to read the customer and place them with the perfect machine for the best riding experience! The quickness and pace at which she handles business is a statement in of itself as to how this business flows! Nikki kept mentioning her wonderful boss(who was out handling business off site the first day I came in) and I said he sounds fantastic! The next day I came to get the bike, Jim was present! Jim(The owner/Boss) gave me the best greeting! Knew who I was and showed me crazy love and respect. He ensures that everything is handled smoothly for sure, his personality is cool and calm. Make sure you insist on a walkthrough of the scooter’s condition before signing. They charged us for body damage that already existed. I should have known better, but would also appreciate due diligence on their side.Luckily, the owner Jim reached out about this and graciously reverted the charge. He said there should have been a checkout process.The scooter ran great and I was really happy with the 24 hour price. Just make sure you do the checkout process!

We called before we got there it was two of us. We called 45 mins before they closed the lady said we didn’t need reservations I said ok and we were on our way. We got there 30 mins before they closed and now all of a sudden it’s ohh we can’t rent to you guys because the paperwork is going to take too long. Wasted money on a lyft which was $30 just to get here from where we were coming. Will not ever come back again. Customer service rep could have told me when I said we were on our way that they stopped at a certain time renting.

My husband and I have been to Avenue Scooters twice in the past 6 months to look at 50cc scooters. The most recent visit, we were ready to purchase two 50cc scooters and asked for a discount off of the MSRP list price. The young lady who worked there printed out a quote without a discount and actually priced one of the scooters at $100 ABOVE MSRP. She said she was taking off the freight charge of $300. The freight charge is figured into the MRSP list price; we checked with other scooter dealers. The manager was there and we explained that when we were there a few months ago, the owner said he would give us a good discount if we purchased two scooters. We were made to feel as if we were asking for a ridiculous discount. Very snobby and acted as if they didnt need the business. The manager finally said hed throw in two $49 helmets. We were ready to pay and the sales associate told us we couldnt take the scooters home today because they didnt have a mechanic present to get the scooters ready. If youre going to be open for business, you should have a mechanic there to prepare the scooters!We were furious and said that is ridiculous because we wanted to ride them that day as it was a holiday (Labor Day). Poor service and snobby attitude! We happily took our business elsewhere without any issues!

I had an absolute BLAST riding with Avenue Scooters! It was my first time operating a motorized scooter, and after a few hours of riding around the city, I felt like I had done it for years. The staff there was really helpful and informative when it came to accommodating me to make me feel comfortable. I loved the fact that I was able to ride in style and have fun doing it! Rented two scooters the girl made it super easy. Prices were reasonable rented @ 12:30 on a Monday rewound Tuesday around 3:30. They show you the basics how to turn on & off Also how to open the storage compartment had a BLAST.... WANT TO BUY ONE

Do not bring your scooter here for service. My scooter sat here for 7 months. The owner told the mechanic to not work on my scooter for a while because it would take too long even though they told me it would be no problem to fix when I dropped it off. I had to stop by on numerous occasions before they even attempted to work on it. They told me they would work on it on multiple occasions, but when I stopped by a couple weeks later they kept telling me they were ordering parts, then they had to order more parts. I mentioned this to a friend and he shared a similar experience - scooter sat and sat and they kept telling him they were waiting on parts.

I just had my Vespa gts 300 serviced and couldnt be happier with the work performed. My thanks to Jim, Adam, and Samantha. Everyone I dealt with was polite and knowledgeable.

Great experience with this place. I Rented a 100cc and it was perfect to this city! A scooter is a great vehicle to explore NOLA and to take in all the sites. Most of the streets are 25mph anyway, so you really dont need that much speed unless your going onto a freeway.

We rented a scooter and drove all over New Orleans scenic streets exploring New Orleans in a very fun and different way. The scooter was very easy to operate and kept up with traffic well. We put around 30 miles on it and it used only a half gallon of gas carrying two people all day. Customer service was top rate and it was very quick to get in and out. We plan to do this again soon! Great date for the birthday girl.

Fast service... but that was likely also the cause of them not screwing down a cosmetic piece enough to cause it to fall off without me noticing while riding it home. Service wasn’t rude, but the bluntness made it borderline.

Overall these people are great. As far as service they need to get with the program. Brought my wifes Genuine buddy 125 scooter in for a tune up and new tires. Never touched Air filter are fuel lines 1 week after getting it back fuel filter broke off. Fixed it got on the road shut down due to overheating with dirty air filter. Tried removing air filter screws were stripped. When I say tune up thing should be 100% well to say the least its 0% not running at the present time

Hong is really helpful. He goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied. The product line is top notch, with Kymco, Genuine, and Lance scooters. Parking right in front of the store seems to never be a problem as its paid parking. Youll need a credit or debit card for the parking. Free parking can be a problem in this area as its near Lee Circle. The shop is smallish, but has a good selection of different scooters with a variety of engine sizes available.

I recently needed a oil change on my Vespa. I was quoted $100.00 at the Vespa store (TR). Avenue Scooters did it for $40.00!

Great, fast service. This is the only place I give carte blanche when reparing my two scooters. Check them out, they also carry a selection of helmets and riding gear. Now stocking a large selection of Locks. So make sure you secure your scoot.
