Talk about going above & beyond for for us. We had a flat while staying at a motel in New Smyrna Beach today. Napa wanted $180 for a jack. Mind you Napa was right across the street from motel. So I called Advance Auto Parts and spoke to John about our situation. John was gracious enough to have Tyler deliver a jack & tire plug kit to us. They didn’t need to do this but it’s great to know there is kindness & understanding people still out there. Thank you 🙏 so much John it’s very much appreciated. Thank you Tyler for delivering to us.

New Smyrna Advanced is near my house and I visit occasionally... always get the help I need;but today I decided to take the time to praiseChristal ( I think she’s the mngr.) She ran the code on my truck about 2or3 weeks ago and was very helpful. I caught her just as she was reporting to work today and asked to speak with her before she even got settled!( other employees were busy with other customers).She very quickly put her belongings away.. and came to assist me with an awesome attitude, great insight and knowledge, and patience, pinpointing my vehicles problem.(Check EngineLight On) which can mean any number of thingsEven after code read. I know some things about cars! Won’t hesitate to return again..I am business owner for 35years and she is the kind of person you want to have work for you..P.S... I “very” rarely post a review ..Bravo Christal!!!

Ryan was extremely helpful and helped flip a lousy situation into an ok experience. I was at the beach, and my car battery was shot (no, I didn’t leave it on and kill the battery while I was baking in the sun). It was old. I called and asked about redeeming the 15% off in the app in store. Ryan said it had to be done through the app. The app wasn’t working as it showed the promo code was applied, but didn’t take off the 15%. When I got to the store, I explained to Ryan what happened. I showed him on my phone, and he was able to apply the discount in store. I was concerned while driving there that they wouldn’t have tools for me to use to take out my old battery, but Ryan said installation was included With the battery purchase. He used a wire brush and cleaned my cables, then out the new battery in.

Finally, a new manager! Yay!!! Things are changing for the better and I will start shopping here again instead of going to Edgewater.

Had to ask way too many questions when they should have been a little bit more assertive. We actually received the wrong light bulb as well after they looked it up and we had to return to exchange. So I guess check before you walk out the door and go in prepared with a list of questions. Then you should be okay

A big THANK YOU to Ryan for his help and excellent customer service. While on vacation the battery died in my car and he wasted no time at all testing the old one for me and then finding me the best deal possible when we determined a new one was needed. He installed it in no time and we were on our way in less than a half hour. I can not thank you enough for all your help!

Usually this place is okay. Today not so much. Needed a new battery and knew they installed it for free except for cars that take too long. Didnt find out about that until after I paid and waited for someone to come out and check the battery to tell me. Ill go buy a new battery elsewhere for $50 less and install it myself.

Its not very often that you walk into an auto parts store in a good mood and that was the case last night. It was not a big problem but a major inconvenience that brought me into Advance Auto Parts and I have to say that the gentleman who greeted me with a big hello was exceptional. His name is Alex and he was friendly and very helpful. He is a great ambassador to this company.

Went to leave our condo in the morning to travel 20 hours back home to find my car not starting in the garage. Once we got it started we drove directly here. We arrived at 7:40am Saturday, clearly the lady didn’t want to be here. She definitely wasn’t friendly. She told us our battery was fine! After stopping for gas and food several hours later my car barely started. I’m not a professional at all, but even I knew it was the battery. Finally arrived home and took it to the local advanced auto here and they immediately said I had a dead cell. Yep, needed a new battery like we said.

Awesome. Super helpful. Changed my battery and realized I had a warranty. Straight honest dudes.

Best customer service Ive ever had in any auto parts store. Im 54 and have owned many pos cars. Haha! But really, Jerry is the guy I dealt with...very helpful and a mechanic. He came out and helped me to diagnose the problem so I didnt have to buy parts I didnt need. Be nice to Jerry!

Always hit the Advance up for our auto needs. Calipers locked up while on vacation in Tennessee. Replaced the drivers side. Had bought everything we needed to do the job while there, wasnt sure if we would need rotors, pads and calipers. So we bought it all, just in case. Made it back to Indiana without further issues and returned the unused parts locally. I wont shop anywhere else. Thanks Advance.

John (Retail Parts Professional) and Cody are the best customer service guys I have ever received at an auto parts store. I had a brake failure on my drive from OH to New Smyrna Beach FL. I called, Cody answered the phone, and I ordered a new part. Ended up being the wrong part. John took it in stride and helped me figure out the right part. The next time my car breaks down in New Smyrna Beach FL, Im calling John and Cody.

Bad place to buy a battery. Mine wouldnt hold a charge over night even when disconnected from vehicle. Tested to be only 5 volts. They tested it after they charged it for a day and said it was good. Would not warrenty it.I will now but a new battery on Amazon Prime for a third of the price.

I dont own a car but I love this store for all the gadgets and tools. Good, helpful people work there too.

The people theyre trying to help you the best I can sometimes the service is a little slow but it seems they cant build a battery that last over 2 years Ive taken for them back this year for those reasons so Im not impressed with the batteries and theyre very expensive for what you get

The manager thats there now isnt who Advance needs at the fore front. Almost like youre irritating him just for buying a new battery. No people skills.

Used to be my go to always went to store in Edgewater I was in here once everyone busy guy in back stepped thru the shelves saw us and left multiple people waiting for God knows how long I left after 20 minutes with no turn over would have been sooner but my truck was next door getting tires all I wanted was wiper blades I have not been back and will not theres fat to many places to shop so bye
