This shop completely messed my forged wheels up mounting a new set of tires. The person running the shop floor said I bought the wrong tires. I literally had to show him that I bought tires for a 16 inch wheel (which is what my truck had). They agreed to mount them and I stopped them once they had the 3rd done because they were damaging them so bad. They denied damaging them and refuse to pay for a wheel repair company to fix it. They were very unprofessional when I asked for their insurance so I can file a claim. They still refuse to fix it and would not write me a receipt showing proof I was there.

This auto repair service is the best ever! They diagnosed a major problem, was about ready to do the work, and before starting they contacted the local dealer to find out if I had an extended warranty. Turned out i did and thus saved me $6K for a brand new engine. They did not have to suggest I go to the dealer but they did. They also did not charge me to do their diagnostic workup! Amazing! I and two other people I know have brought their cars here for various service issues over the last year. All have been extremely satisfied. People are competent, friendly, service is timely, they explain things well, and they stand by their work. So wonderful to be able to trust an auto repair company completely!

American Auto and Tire provides great service. I had some steering issues with my truck and they fixed it in a timely manner. Very professional and good customer service. I went to pick it up when they said it was all done. Unfortunately when we picked it up the alignment was still off. Fortunately though Evan was very kind to have it fixed by the next day. All in all a great place if you need anything fixed!

We have used American Auto in the past on 3 of our vehicles and referred our friend with flat RV tires. Today I had dilemma with the emergency parking brake and possible misalignment. Don looked at the broken wire cable I held in my hand and said I believe you are ok. But still put it up on the lift and examined the Chev. Equinox. He reassured me that every thing was okay, as I had electronic brakes. (I am illiterate to anything mechanical). I asked him what I owed and he said $0. Called American Auto today got a quote over the phone for rear brakes pads and rotors. They beat all their competitors pricing. They charge me less than 300 dollars with tax Tire Kindom gave a quote of over 500 dollars. Their service was fantastic and hands down the best in the New Smyrna area.

American Auto did an incredible job on my car. My air conditioner stopped working and they fixed it quickly and had great communication the whole time. I got quotes at several places and they were the most cost effective and really worked within my budget. I will definitely be back for any other repairs I need in the future. I discovered a knot on my tire sidewall and was due to leave town the next day. I came in and although they didnt have my tire in stock, they were able to get it here the next morning. They were slamned when I came the next morning and I thought I would have to wait and be delayed returning home from vacation. But, they managed to get my car in sooner than they thought and did a great job. Great waiting room, clean restroom and friendly staff.☺

Avoid. They totally ripped off my friend. Charged him ridiculous prices on parts that he could have bought from an auto parts dealer. Told him they couldnt do a specific service, he went elsewhere and it was done without issue

Great service. Everyone was nice and very helpful. I had a screw in my tire and they took me right away. Even took the tire off to do a full inspection of it just in case. Didnt even charge me.

The best service hands down! I drove 4 hours from Georgia just to come get four new tires for my traverse. Originally the dealership I went to in Ga told me they didn’t have my tires in stock and it would be 3-5 days. American Auto had my tires in stock and charged me very reasonably. Definitely recommend, if you want a good job for a decent price!

I was in an accident and had my whole front end replaced by another company, shortly after I got my car back, it started driving rough and making an odd sound. I didn’t want to take it back to the same place, so I took it to AA where I’ve had work done previously and they solved the problem quickly and efficiently and it didn’t cost me a fortune to correct it. I rarely leave reviews but I’ve left AA two because I’ve been super impressed with their ability to work with me no matter what issue I’ve had with my car. 10/10 the only place in the NSB/Daytona area I’ll go anymore.

What an amazing place with amazing service! I was on my way to another local tire shop when they called to tell me no one was able to open that morning. I stopped in here because I thought I had a screw in my tire. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that all my tires were safe since they could not find a screw in the tire I had asked about. I was getting ready to travel out of town. Not only did they put my car on a lift and check everything but they also topped off all my fluids to make sure I was safe for my trip. They did this all at no charge. I couldn’t ask for friendlier service. I was even there before they officially opened and they help me immediately.This will be my one and only stop for auto service here in the new Smyrna area in Edgewater from now on!!!

I kept going to the local used tire businesses in New Smyrna Beach and replacing my truck tires on a regular basis due to the fact that I never had a few hundred laying around for new tires. After having my tire studs stripped several times and numerous issues with used tires I learned about American Autos inhouse financing. Probably one of the best decisions Ive made this year was going to American Auto and having new tires put on my vehicle. Unfortunately, I often pick up nails in my tires. The only place to go for repairs is American Auto and Tire. A few years back, I was leaving for the airport in Orlando and had a nail in my tire...the guys took me in right away, repaired the tire, and I arrived at OIA in time. Theres a spotless, comfortable waiting area too. Its the best tire place in town.

I made a phone call they explained everything over the phone.it was quick and it was exactly what they said it was going to be. no haggle no hidden fees and when I came to the shop the next day they were right on top of it and on point didnt waste no time definitely will be coming back!

At first they was short staffed, later they dont do Groupons on Saturday and so on. Ok people, if you dont need Groupons dont sell there!!! Today I showed up and they agreed to take an alignment check. Finally! After they tried to charge me $320 for tie rods+labor that was way to high for the $30-50 parts. I refused and glad I did. Sorry guys, Im not so stupid. Disrespect!!! Dont waste your time and money there! Worst expensive ever!Went straight to Pep Boys and got excellent service there. 3 year alignment service and 2 brand new tires for $360 out of the door. And of course, I didnt have to pay extra for unnecessary replacement STILL GOOD working parts, only FREE adjustments during alignment!

Pretty nice place. I called to make the appointment, the guy was quick and direct, a bit too much, but eh, I appreciate direct. They got my oil changed in about 40 minutes, took a walk around, nice place. There was a $2.50 price added to the total for disposal of my oil filter, which they failed to tell me about, but that’s the only bad thing. The guy at the front desk was really nice. This place is pretty good.

I woke up to find a flat tire on my truck on a Saturday morning. Many repair shops are closed on Saturday,but not Americans auto. Fast greatService!

I went to a Jiffy Lube out of town to change my oil recently and was told that I had “metal on metal“ for my brakes and they tried to scare me into buying new brake pads. Thankfully I decided to get a second opinion before being charged over $800 for new brake pads. I went to American Auto to get my brakes inspected and I am so glad that I did. They told me that I have at least 50% left on all four of my brakes. Thank you so much for being truthful and honest! You have made me a lifetime customer.

Edit....I am editing my review due to the owner contacting me and being engaged in what caused a negative experience in his business.Disappointed........should have gotten more into the details of reviews instead of looking at the overall number.The good....they were able to take the job and complete on the same day. Owner engagement.The bad......1) quoted $790 total over the phone, charged $798 plus tax actually $850 at the time of pick up.2) Charged $300 for a part I can get at the local parts store for $1503) job calls for 1.5 hrs labor...was charged $349 for labor, that’s $233 an hourUnfortunately this is how I learn where not to go.

American Auto was such a big help to my Mom! She hit something in the road on the way down to NSB, and part of the plastic under her hood was dragging the ground. We did not have anyone to help us figure out what to do, so we called American Auto and they had us come right down. The mechanic was able to fix it in 15-20 minutes, and didn’t charge her anything! They were so kind and helpful. I highly recommend!
