Ive been getting my car serviced here about two years now. Oil changes (when I dont have the energy to do it myself), alignments, brakes, etc.They are a pretty good shop and are VERY communicative in any required diagnostics for things that crop up over time.The guys are courteous and love cars, so theyre abundantly respectful of my vehicle.The pricing is impressive among their competitors, and that is REALLY saying something. They blow dealerships out of the water. They seem to have access to the full range of performance to economy tires for most any vehicle, and have excellent recommendations for a set which will suit the use of any owner.As a rideshare driver, my car is my office, and my tools of the trade are good maintenance and a lot of cleaning supplies. I therefore never goof around when it comes to keeping everything in excellent condition. Tire Choice is indispensable in these efforts and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them for all service needs. If they cant fix it, theyll help you get it fixed.

We had the misfortune of loosing our alternator on our way to Savannah and someone recommended this store to us. We spoke with Carl on the phone and he was very helpful and put our minds at ease. Although the process was predicted to be long, we sat for a bit had an amazing lunch at the restaurant next door and even did a little antique shopping while we waited. Thank you Carl, your friendliness and cooperation in helping us was much appreciated.

As a business owner Im always gun shy at leaving reviews. They can be very subjective and personal but not at all a direct reflection of the business.I started taking my vehicles to Tire choice because I just dont have the time to do it myself and I dont mind paying as long as it feels fair and Im not jerked around and taken advantage of with factitious problems to run the bill up.They started out very fair and honest. Sent my kid up there the other day for a miss he was having, Spark plug or spark plug wire more than likely. Tire Choice called and wanted $800.00 to replace 6 spark plugs, spark plug wires and a coil along with a complete fuel system cleaning. This was just too much, Ill do it for that. So went and picked up the car and they charged him $100 for diagnostics (plug a computer into the car) and 10.00 for shop supplies? I called on it and his answer was, well he signed off on it. Couldnt tell me what shop supplies he used?By the way it was a spark plug wire that split and after changing all wires and plugs it cost us under $50.00

Thank you so much for your assistance with our tire pressure issue. We were on our way to Royal Palm today to pickup our grand children to take them to Key West tomorrow. We had our 2 dogs with us and our tire would not hold pressure. They took us right away and replaced a valve stem at no charge. I highly recommend this place with their friendly, courteous customer service.

I took my car in today for a slow leak in my tire. Because someone had recently quit, they were short-handed. Even though I knew it would be a long wait, I decided to wait at the store. I was so pleasantly surprised when the wait was less than half of what I anticipated, and the charge was reasonable. I’m very glad I chose them.

I actually just brought two cars too them.I can’t tell you enough how hard it is too find an honest car shop. This is the place.I brought in a car that had been sitting under a tree for over 3 years. 60 bucks oil change, tire balance, rotated. Car runs amazing. They could have told me anything.Gave me a very honest estimate on a car I had been driving for work for a long time (hospice nurse). No problems or pressure and when I didn’t want to continue fixing the car they had no problem just giving me the car back and letting me limp it home (after 60 bucks which is very fair IMHO).5 stars will recommend to everyone.

My girlfriend had an appointment for tire balancing this afternoon. After using the lunch hour to go do that and after the arrival there she was told the tire balancing machine is broken. No one there offered any compensation for the issue and did not call and tell her ahead of time because they forgot to get her number. I spoke with the manager whos favorite word was unfortunately and offered nothing. So you will get nothing but bad publicity.

I visited in November 2020. Made appointment for oil change and tire rotation online. I speak to the unfriendly, rude man at the counter and says he has no appointment scheduled for me. I try to show him the confirmation on my phone and pays no attention to it. He says he can squeeze me it, but it will be awhile. So, we go to get something to eat and come back to check on the car. Its still not finished. Two plus hours later, its finished. The tire rotation was not even done, yet I was charged for it! The rude man locked the door behind me and left. I do not recommend this business.

Was told by Tire Choice that my vehicle needs new brakes. I took it to the Ford dealer for a second opinion who states that the brakes are fine.

Great customer service and honest advice from Randy at Tire Choice in New Smyrna Beach, FL. He worked in both of our cars for oil changes for the same day plus rotating/balancing tires on one truck and installing new tires and balancing them on a car. We’ve scheduled more work to be completed next week.

This is a great car repair/tire shop. The staff is caring, competent and knowledgeable. They always take the time to explain their work clearly. They are punctual and their repairs are flawless. This is a nationwide company so I feel safe while driving from Florida to New York . They treat each customer personally. I was going to trade my car and the manager actually talked me into keeping it. It is a decision I have never regretted. In fact, I have such faith in the staff that I always follow their recommendations. A perk is the local movie theater is in the same plaza, so I can watch a movie while my car is being serviced.

Even with an appointment, over 90 minutes to simply change oil, balance and rotate tires. Very sloppy and dirty waiting area.

All I can say is excellent, went in with my car to get air pressure checked because the light came on and pulled up to the bay and a gentleman by the name of Matt came right out and checked my air pressure, he could of just aired my tires up and sent me on my way but he asked if it was convenient for me for him to take the tire off that was lowest and inspect it for something in it, needless to say these guys were swamped and only had 2 open spots behind the bays however matt said all his guys were busy and he would personally take care of it for me so I went inside and got typed up while he was fixing the nail in my tire, on top of that he was extremely professional and I’m sure he had 10 different things going on being but he stopped what he was doing and made me his priority, I sincerely appreciate the professionalism and thoroughness to go above and beyond the call of duty, I was going out of town but he didn’t know that and because of his fast service and willingness to ensure my vehicle was ready to hit the road is why I continue to come back and why I love bringing my cars to Matt and his team, I’ve heard him say numerous times to myself and other customers that he treats our vehicles like they were his own families and that is absolutely huge to me to know that my vehicle isn’t just a dollar sign, thank you Matt and your team!!!

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by smiling faces and polite hellos. I was not sure what all I needed for my car because I am far from a mechanic, however I did know I was due for an oil change, today I had previously went to my dealer ship(where I bought my car) who told me it would be over a 3 hour wait and the bill was absolutely outrageous!! I searched hoping to find a better deal when little did I know I had hit the jack pot!!! Not only amazing service but amazing prices!!! Everyone was so kind and courteous and eager to lend a helping hand, I was updated on my cars progress through out my appointment. one of the managers sat and talked with me explaining what was going on with my car which I was extremely thankful for because anywhere else I have gone I have gotten a “you need this and this is how much you owe us”. Tire choice Employees took there time to make sure I understood what was happening with my vehicle. I’m so happy I found this shop! I won’t be going anywhere else and will be recommending it to everyone!!

I mean nothing bad happened technically........I came in with a rim without a tire to dispose of....but It took me addressing all the fees tacked on for what should have been an 80 dollar tire....to notice the tire fee which is for disposal....but he knew I wasnt disposing anything so why wouldnt that just be removed without me asking?

Pleasant experience.I had no appointment and requested an oil change. It was done right away and it was on a late Sunday afternoon to boot! Included with the oil change was my fluids were checked and topped off if needed along with my tires were rotated, all free of charge.

Super helpful and knowledgeable. Parker explained what my problem was and I really felt they had my best interest in mind with their recommendations.

I have been coming to this store since the mid 90s when it was different names but the same people. Recently the name was changed to Tire choice, but the management once again has remained the same. I have had only good experiences with this store. The workers are friendly and courteous and I always drive away feeling confident that I received the best possible service I could get. I am a loyal customer and will continue to be so.

Sadly, Im sure the vast majority of people just pay whatever bill they are presented.but I decided not to.Installing a radiator hose is labor intensive.Uh no, its not. Itll be at least 2 hours.Uh, nope, it was 45 minutes and I was just supposed to pay $225 in labor? + part =$50 = $275 total ?!So I said nah, and got it down to $205Better than $275 but still too much of course.Id say dont go here, but they ALL play the labor charge game/ripoff. From now on Im sure they will just keep it on the lift for 2 hours, 3 hours whatever. Even if its done in say, 45 minutes just to soak you for that labor charge.good luck!

I found this shop when I purchased my tires and now they take care of everything for my car. They do all my oil changes and all tire rotations are free. They always give me a coupon for the oil changes and I get a discount if I need an alignment. Good prices. One thing I REALLY appreciate is they never try to talk me into buying something I dont need. I will stick with The Tire Choice to take care of my car.

This shop is extremely well run by some really competent, nice, and honest people. I made a mistake and ordered the wrong size of tires for my wifes car - they ordered the correct ones, patched the one that was damaged to get her home, and wouldnt even let me pay for it! I cant say enough good about these folks and they get all of our car maintenance and tire business now and perform it flawlessly. If youre in the New Smyrna Beach / Edgewater area then this is the place to go for great car service.

Because of the positive reviews here I decided to take my car to this place, big mistake I guess you shouldn’t believe everything you read, one of the worst experiences ever left my car there at about 11:00 AM, and it was a Saturday I get you are busy, but a call to let me know what is up I kept calling to find out up to 4:30 that’s when they took my car in and came back with an outrageous quote of 1200 dollars and nothing in writing all on what they told me, so unprofessional. Maybe they pick and choose who they are going to be professional with. One star is too much for you, you suck

I am so happy. The Tire Choice repaired my tire and had me on my way in less than an hour. A very helpful and friendly staff. Tire Kingdom a mile away told be the tire had to be replaced and was totally uninterested in helping me. I will definitely use The Tire Choice again when needed.

I went in about a month ago for regular oil change and a charging problem. They charged me 20.00 for a charging system test. And said it was fine. I took it back today with the same problem they charged me another 20.00 for a charging system test. And told me it was the alternator. Wanted to charge me 419.00 for just the part which I can get at auto zone fo 80.00. I asked them if they checked the belt know mind you I had asked them to do so three time and also put it in my request on line when I scheduled the appointment. There reply was we where under the expression I just wanted the electrical checked.Would that not include the belt to make sure it was tight. And not just saying it was the alternator.I took it to someone else sure enough it was just the belt. $165.00 later parts and labor everything fixed. Tire choice 419.00 parts 125.00 labor. ++++. I will not be going back.Also it took them about 5 minutes to check it sat outside the bay with the hood ope fo an hour and a half.UpdatedAfter leaving my review the manager called and apologized for their misunderstanding. And took care of the situation I really appreciate him taking the time do reach out to me. Other then the price for parts which he has no control over. He did everything to make it right. I will be going back but bringing my own parts when needed.Thank you tire chop.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place, my mom recommended them & theyre very friendly. They fixed my car & did not charge me when one of the parts was faulty. I brought it back today to have them check my back brakes, they checked it all & did not charge me for that either. I will be going there in the future.

You can really trust these guys. McGee Auto in New Smyrna has been the only place we have taken our cars for service since we moved here two years ago. After previously having service done at the dealership and then having McGees take a look at the vehicle, some of the things the dealership wanted to do were not even needed and the price for the dealership for what was needed was about 10 times higher. Weve had regular oil changes, new tires and various work done on an older car and everything was done at a great price and we know we can trust the service. I always recommend McGees to anyone looking to service their cars.

We are from out of state and happen to be driving through when we got a flat tire. They were closing in 20 minutes but Bo said he’d take care of me and he did!! We ended up needing two tires because they were completely worn out. They were friendly and stayed an hour past closing to get my car done. I would highly recommend them!

First I thought it was going to be a typical tire shop. Being from out of town I thought they were going to try to sell me unnecessary tires cuz I went in for a flat repair. To my surprise they didnt try to sell me anything unnecessary fix my tire greeted me respectfully and politely it was just an all-around awesome experience

We took in our minivan which had a door that was having problems closing. They were not able to fix the problem after spending and trying a lot of different things. Because they couldnt fix the door even though they had spent money on parts and time they didnt charge us! That is very rare for the auto place to do that. They also referred us to someone who could fix the door and was willing to communicate with the new dealership. I would recommend them for their honesty and integrity and willingness to get the problem fixed.

My family has taken our cars here for a few years and we have had a very good experience. Right now we are having a oil leakage problem that they are working on but havent been able to fix. I expect they will continue working to find the solution.

Was on my way home from work at 6:30 at night and my tire light came on, called the shop to see if I could get in there before they closed at 7 and see what was going on, I believe the gentleman’s name was Randy told me to swing in even after I told him I wouldn’t be able to get there until 6:50ish and they closed at 7, no hesitation he told me no problem we’ll get you taken care of even if I showed up at 7 or even after, the icing on the cake is that I pulled up and my tires weren’t flat or anything so they asked me to pull around behind the bays and check the air pressure in the tires the right rear was down to 25 but all the other ones were good, the technician said do you have a minute for me to take the tire off and see what’s going on with it and I said yes and he took it off and found a nail in it and got the tire fixed and back on the car and me back on the road without missing anytime at work, what goes a long way is that they could of pumped some air in the tire and sent me on the way and went home on time, but they went the extra mile and took care of me even at there own cost of staying alittle late, great operation is run here, great job to the ownership and management for what you guys do here! Great Service! My car had a tire that was losing air, so I brought the car to Tire Choice to check it. Tire Choice immediately checked the pressure in all tires and identified the bad tire. They then promptly removed the tire, found the leaks, and patched the tire at very reasonable cost. I have Tire Choice take care if all my future tire needs. Many thanks!

They didnt have a tire my size -- I have a very small car. But they could get one in a day and did. I appreciated their help and appreciated that they picked me up from where I was staying once my car was ready. Dave is a really nice guy. BTW, the price was reasonable.

Went in at 7:15 at night they had just closed up and the store manager opened the shop up to fix my tire, for him to go out of his way to open the shop up to help me goes along way!!! While visiting New Smyrna Beach from Miami, a small screw was removed from the front passenger side tire of our Honda Minivan which led to a flat tire on Friday evening. I phoned The Tire Choice just after 8am Saturday morning and Matt said come-on in. Upon arrival to Tire Choice, I was greeted by Dave and moments later both the minivan tire and our spare were fixed. Very very pleased with their ability to get us in and out on a moments notice.
