To say Im happy with EQT is an understatement! I was told by another shop that my Tundras trans could be facing a rebuild to get the 4x4 to engage. The expert tech got it working with minimal work and the bill was MUCH lower than I anticipated! When taking your truck to the shop you can only hope for an honest and efficient mechanic and it is obvious that EQT is just that place. 5 stars all the way.

Mechanic was short, dry, and rude. I would not have felt compelled to give this place my business. I only got an estimate and took my vehicle elsewhere.

I brought my 95 geo tracker here for a new transmission. They rebuilt mine but I also needed a new front pump. Since my car is so old, finding that part was super difficult and my car ended up being here for about a month. But this was not the fault of Earl’s Transmission at all (parts were sold out and then lost in the mail). Even though it was not their fault, they still helped me out and cut down my costs surrounding everything else because it had been so long which I appreciated IMMENSELY. They were so nice, personable, and quick! The mechanics and front desk lady were really nice and I’ll definitely be coming back here if I need it and recommending it to others too! :)

I had an amazing experience with the store located in Daytona Beach. The communication was superb and Mr. Mike would show me in person exactly what was getting worked on whenever I checked on my vehicle!! Another great aspect was the qualityof work, his team took their time while fully rebuilding the transmission on my 93 300zx. Once complete my car drove better than it has ever driven before. My family was on vacation and my shifter cable broke. It was close to closing time on a Thursday when we got the car there and had to wait on our family to pick us up for 1-2 hours. A mechanic stayed there to make sure we were safe and not stranded until we were picked up. He was an awesome guy. They were very caring, and did everything possible to help us, because we were checking out of our resort Monday morning. They kept us informed the whole process and informed us that they wouldn’t receive the part needed until noon on Monday. We were planning on sitting at the mall for hours until we could pick up the car after check-out. First thing Monday morning they called and informed us they had already received the part they needed. Before we checked out of our resort, they called and told us the car was ready to be picked up. They were very knowledgeable, caring, and fast. The owner himself even talked to us, made sure we didn’t need anything else, and even gave us the broken part and explained why it broke. Which was due to another shop back home that we took it to have the clutch replaced and the mechanic at the shop back home broke it and super glued the part back in and we had no clue. He gave us everything we needed to take to the shop back home and gave us his information and told us he would speak to the other shop for us if we have any problems. I have never in my life been to a shop as fast and caring as this shop. On top of that he charged us very reasonably. We were nervous about being tourists to a shop we had never been to, and having no choice. A lot of places take advantage of that. They did an awesome job and saved us! I highly recommend!

Awesome service !!! Mike was superb at fixing my 2006 ford escape limited. I had issues with my transmission and went above and beyond . Mike fix my brakes and rotors as well because he had notice the issue and up to now everything is 100% working like a champ! Thanks mike fore your quality work and professionalism. Would recommend hands down . Service date was Feb 7th, today is April 19th. I usually wait for good reviews.

Not so good my vehicle not happy

These guys are so patient and wonderful. My boyfriends Monte Carlo sat at their shop for a month or 2 being we were unable to collect enough money for the work. They never argued with us about paying the work off so they had room on their already full lot. When I informed them of the secret payment for his birthday present they were very helpful keeping it secret and I notified them when I would be picking up the car they were on point with having it ready for me (and I mean literally) as soon as I pulled in. Even though it was earlier than I was expecting to be there. Super nice, very professional with a great touch of personal understanding... I hope I wont have to go back but if something came up they are the first place for me to call. Thanks you all again for the amazing help!

Drove down from Virginia in a 2013 Ford escape that only had 78,000 miles on it. I knew something was wrong with my transmission from the sound and feel. Earls was recommended to me so I had my vehicle towed there. Earl called me to let me know my torch converter and valve body needed to be replaced but he didnt feel comfortable with me driving all the way back to Virginia after the repairs so he suggested getting a rebuilt transmission from the dealer so my warranty would be nationwide. He handled the tow truck when they came to pick up my vehicle to tow it to Ford so I didnt have to drive there from Daytona and he didnt charge anything for diagnosing my transmission.... everyone knows Ford would have charged me to diagnose my transmission.Thank you very much!!

I had my transmission replaced there. The warranty covered a faulty transmission they were sent and the guys there worked hard to make it right. I would recommend to any one. They also are a full service shop. Check them out.

Jim Earl and his transmission specialists are the only ones I will let work on my, or my customers transmissions. They are very knowledgeable on New an older transmissions from all makes and models. I travel more than 30 miles to use his service with absolutely no regrets ever.

Last Thursday, my boyfriends transmission in his truck (which we knew was gonna happen any day) finally went out. Luckily it’s under warranty and we had the new one waiting to go in. Because of his insane schedule, there was no way he would have time to do it, hence why it hadn’t been done yet... so we had it towed to Earl’s. He brought them the new transmission Friday morning and by Friday afternoon it was swapped and done and his truck drives better than it ever has. I was insanely impressed by how quick, efficient, and great these people were. Thank you for making a stressful situation easier on us and getting him his truck back quicker than I ever expected! We would definitely recommend them to anyone! :)

Overall the mechanic did a fantastic job - rebuilt my transmission truck runs drives and shifts beautiful now - but the receptionist was a bit rude didnt keep us updated and didnt return calls when she said she would - price went up $500 from estimate to pick up and took two weeks longer than they said it would take. I would go back but I would want to not deal with April.

After driving 1100 miles to Florida, my 2013 F-150 experienced a sudden down shift and trouble shifting into 1st. This is a known problem with the F-150s and I was very confident as to what the issue was. I quickly plugged in my Autel Maxisys Elite Diagnostic Tool and couldn’t find any codes stored within the PCM. I knew something was wrong and a dealership would have been a waste. Plus, I wanted to avoid the dealer at all costs so I quickly towed my vehicle to Earls Quality transmission shop based of their reviews and honest feedback over the phone. They quickly diagnosed my vehicle and had my truck repaired within 2 business days. Earls Transmission worked on my 2005 Subaru Forester-they did an honest diagnostic and the price was beyond fair. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone that need work on their transmission.

I came to this place based off word of mouth from a tire kingdom in daytona. My transmission was slipping. They were very kind and told me exactly what was wrong with my transmission. I couldnt afford to pay the price I was told at the time but without there help I wouldnt of been able to drive back home they wouldnt even take a tip.

Theyre the best in servicing all types of transmission. Theyre reasonable on their work, and stand behind their work.

Someone just reminded me that I have not given these guys a review!! They have repaired my 01 3/4 ton Suburban multiple times. Most recently they rebuilt the transfer case(2 months ago). Previously it was a rebuilt transmission on the same vehicle. We tend to abuse that truck and theyve done a great job every time. They come with my highest recommendation.

Went to FL few weeks ago, my 04 Acura MDX transmission broke down at the shell station next to New Smyran Beach exit!! I had my car towed at Earls transmission, flew back home to Providence. I shipped a new transmission to them and the installed it for me, & I had my suv transported back to Providence. I tested drove it and it ran like new. Im very happy with the job they did.
