I love this place!! I always find everything I need here, and I always manage 2 come home with even more!! I highly recommend this store- its clean, extremely cheap, and I find something new every time Im there!;

No air conditioning. 🥵 The one redeeming quality was the cashier, Jon. I think hes new? Good guy.

They never have enough check outs open, so there is usually a line of people waiting. Cashier wasnt friendly.

The dollar tree in New Ulm is quite empty. It had nothing I really wanted as crafts.

Dont trust cashiers, at least one of them is dishonest. But the prices are Great. Ive gone to the store since & it appears that dishonest employee doesnt work there anymore. That being said, still watch what any and all cashiers are doing ( in any store in New Ulm, not just dollar tree.) other stores in New Ulm are having issues with cashiers.

The hours posted on the door are 11am to 7 pm, and yet, when I got there at 630pm, the doors were locked, and the staff said this was normal so they could clean the store. They were also very rude about it.They could do recovery either during store hours, which is normal practice in every retail establishment I have ever worked for, or if they need the store to be locked while they clean, they should do it after hours rather than closing early.They certainly didnt close due to lack of customers, because during the brief time I was there, at least 4 other potential customers walked up to the doors, rattled them, and then left.I understand they are likely having staffing issues. Arent we all? But this does not excuse the rudeness of the staff or the closing of the doors before the posted closing time. If they need to close earlier, they should change their kitschy handmade sign to reflect their true open hours.
