This is the WORST pharmacy I have EVER had to deal with from the not answering calls or hanging up the phone to the LACK of customer service. They get away with it due to location and access. The community needs to pay attention because businesses do to you what you allow. I guess unless it actually happens to you it has no effect on you.Exactly why I do mail in through my insurance. The day I dont have insurance that offers that option I still would NEVER utilize this location.

This Rite Aid pharmacy is truly awful. It takes a minimum of 5 phone calls to even be put on hold with the pharmacy. Once you are put on hold, they never return to the phone. You have to then hang up and call back to be helped. You will have to call many more times before talking to a real person. It is really inconvenient, especially when you have medications you need in a timely manner, not to mention very frustrating. The pharmacy technicians are not in any rush to help, on the phone or in person. I will be switching pharmacies.

Terrible experience. I will never shop here or any Rite Aid again. I noticed my car was booted after coming out of Rite Aid to get medication. I went back in and informedthe manager, and he said nothing he can do. I called the number on the card that was left and Safeway Parking pulled up and demanded $200 to remove boot. Stating I wasnt a customer because I left the parking lot. Their is no signs saying you will be booted if you leave the parking lot. The fact remains I was a customer.

Do not shop here! I received a $200 parking fine after a purchase at Rite Aid. The parking lot attendant claimed that I left the premises and I had no ability to dispute the fine.

Worst experience in my life. My grandmother needed her medicine and eye drops. She spent couple of hrs getting medication and since they did not have it. I left her and I left my car in the location. Turns out as soon as you leave the parking or building lot you are not a costumer. A company call Safeway, booted my car and I called the company and went back and forth with the guy called Johnny. I explain to them but they care less. And said I had to pay $200 in order to get my wheel unlock. Noone cared, the manager, the associate, all said thats not their business. I called the riteaid costumer service and same story. Quite unfair for getting their products and then telling me hey you have to pay 200 for parking. Avoid this place.

Highly recommend you visit somewhere else plus they are so bad i will now boycott all Rite Aids.Worse possible place, crack heads in the parking lot. Plus the store and staff could not be worse. Would give negative stars if I could.

Drive-thru COVID-19 testing is really easy. Took a screening survey and made an appointment on the same day. Tests results came back in 6 days negative ☺️

If I can give them a 0 I would I dropped off a RX three days ago they texted me 24 hours later that it was ready I came to pick up my RX they told me they could not find it waited two hours for them to give me my prescription and they were in the pick up area laughing as if something was funny no update on what was going on I ask multiple times all I was getting was I am looking for it not I am sorry for the inconvenience but we are trying our best to assist but I got attitude no answer and left with no medication

This Rite-Aid pharmacy is truly poor representation of a pharmacy. The staff and their level of customer service can definitely use some polishing. My trip to Rite-Aid today was very disappointing and I do not recommend this location to anyone!!

Doctor gives prescription they say it’s over the counter the refuse to give it to you under the insurance and the insurance covers it. Privately own pharmacy are better then these rite aid pharmacy. It’s illegal to force someone to buy over the counter when insurance will cover it! Staff very Rude and unprofessional ! Long spiteful wait times at rite aid pharmacy!

Even though the wait time can be lengthy sometimes but that’s because the pharmacy is very busy. I have waited for my prescription there one time for approximately 15 mins with no complaints however I have realized that most customers who come to pick also don’t consider the staff. I think y’all need to give the staff a break they are doing an awesome job! Some customers use dirty languages when they don’t get what they want and that’s so unfair. I’m pretty if some of you address them politely there will be no problem. Just saw a little bit of consideration guys

The customer service in the pharmacy department is very very poor, I went for a pick up and waited for 25 minutes before someone helped me. When i said excuse me to get representatives attention she continue to make me wait. She prefered to fix medications and/or prepare then to attend me.

Pharmacy phone evidently not working for the customer because you have to wait to get transferred to the main number then they will connect you to the pharmacy..so much wasted time. Anyway I initially had my prescription filled in west orange which is one of the most friendliest branch, I transferred my prescription by phone myself. I then called this branch to see if they received the transfer and they didnt. She replied that they have to do it, I asked her why do they have the self service of the customers do it by phone, she didnt know. Ok, so I called west orange and they did it. I then called this branch again to actually do the refill over the automated system.. It would be ready by 6pm. I called the next day to make sure before I went to pick it up but had to wait again to be transferred by the front desk first. The pharmacy doesnt have it in stock..CALCIUM PILLS...really, she said they will call me back.. Still waiting.. I will just have to go back to the friendlier west orange branch!!.. Its such a shame that the urban areas get treated in such an uncaring way vs the suburbs.. Thats the reason I go out of my way!!

Very rude personal,got there to drop a prescription and she was talking to her coworker not even greet me,just show me her hand like i came to beg for prescription.the only thing that Brittini told me is 30 mn.how come costumer can be treat like that without any respect.something to be done at this location to provide better service because this is becoming .and is not my first bad experience at that location...

They never seem to have enough medication for the amount of people they serve at the pharmacy. This causesa lot of hostilitie. Especiallywhen you have been called to pick it up. However theyre ordering prescriptions they need to make some changes.

I dropped off prescriptions on 3/24/16, then because I didnt have any money until the 1st, didnt get to pick them up until the 5th. I gave them my prescription drug plan info, as Id not had it with me before. But then they only had 3 of the 4 prescriptions that I needed. I thought it would perhaps be 20 mins. or so at the most. But it ended up being about an hour & a half just to get the 4 prescriptions that Id dropped off so long ago. A new staff person kept asking for my name, date of birth, etc. And kept asking if it was 3 prescriptions, saying that they were ready, I kept having to say, no its 4, this went on for over an hour and a 1/2. Absurdly poor organization & extremely unprofessional. I did have other things to do, but I was hungry, tired, & in pain. I couldnt even go run my other errands as Id intended, one of which was grocery shopping. I was so tired, hungry, & miserable by the time I finished there that I simply went back home to take my medication that I had so patiently waited for. I dont know what is wrong over there or why theyre so inept at getting prescriptions ready for people. But I also plan to contact them directly about this as well. I made the mistake of going there because it was so close to me, but if it comes down to a choice, Ill never use them again. Dont even bother, save yourself the trouble and go to Walgreens.
