Stephanie was fabulous! Shes knowledgeable, down to earth and explains everything clearly.
I love this store! Im a beauty insider, which anyone can become. I went in to get my free birthday gift, which was a selection of Moroccan oil products and I bought a charcoal mask and some hand sanitizer, which smelled great. I always find something in this store. They one thing I love about this store is that as an insider, everything you buy gives you points and once you have 100 or 250 points you get to pick a free gift!
Rachel is awesome and helped me find my colors which as a guy i find hard
Friendly and personal customer service. Abundance of choices in many things, and kinda slim in others. I was looking for a daytime facial serum and got some wonderful help. She looked up what I was looking for and when she found that Sephora doesnt carry it, she helped me find an alternative. She answered my questions and have her personal review of the products she tried. Good experience.
Very well stocked and busy store. I dont come here often but every time I do its always a nice experience from the time Im greeted upon entry. These ladies & gents have their hands full with folks of all ages coming in and out. It was time for a new bottle of Coco Mademoiselle then I like to get samples of the perfume Im looking to add to my collection, once I see how they last on me by the end of the day and how many compliments I received is how I know its the one for me. So Ill be visiting soon to make my purchase... thank you Sephora.
The store is clean and organized. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I love this store!
Megan with the purple hair was very helpful. She is knowledgeable and her effervescent disposition made for a pleasant shopping experience
I never leave reviews but this is the nicest Sephora. If you ever go to this location and need help, Stephanie is your girl! She was very nice, went out of her way to help me, and recommended products that have been amazing so far. I’m very happy with my experience!
Always helpful and friendly at this location!
Love it here.. They ran out of the foundation I needed.
Deals here are fabulous. Excellent rewards program when you track your points.
I visited the store not too long ago, I was approached by Railey who was absolutely helpful! She knew what she was talking about. Then I was checked out by Megan who was so sweet and patient!Ladies! I thank you for great service!
Great deals on make up and rewards point system
Great line of products at awesome prices.
This is a well stocked, well staffed store it just doesnt carry the items I use. I felt they are educated in their store and the products within. I will revisit this location and I purchased a gift card for a friend so I felt confident in sending others to this brand.
Great make up deals with the reward program
Beyond happy, excited
The Disney World of make up, one of my favorite places on Earth! Salespeople are helpful, not pushy. Definitely ask for help and have fun. Join the rewards program....easy to earn mini sized items, request samples at check out.
Extremely poor costumer service. While shopping for mascara yesterday I decided to ask one of the ladies for a sample of a moisturizer so I can find which works best for my skin, since it is so sensitive. The lady who helped me on 2/27/2020 came off completely miserable and didn’t seem to wanna be bothered at all. I even thanked her for helping with getting me a sample and she walked off and said nothing. There was one very pleasant lady at the very front of the store but the back end of the store had two ladies with extremely unprofessional attitudes. I am very disappointed that this store has gone so down hill.
Love the choices even though Delaware gets less brands than other major cities you can have a perk facial here with a $75 purchase that is worth every dime.you are also allowed to ask for free samples and collect points for rewards and turn them into gifts. Love Sephora
Great makeup selection and great deals
I needed makeup for my wedding, and Loren was the absolute best. She spent so much time making sure I got the perfect shade and knew exactly how to apply everything. She didnt try to sell me anything and wasnt pushy at all. Great experience!
My fav shop for makeup and etc
As someone who doesnt normally do much with my makeup other than putting on mascara, Im usually fairly clueless when it comes to how to shop for spot cover up and foundation. Stephanie worked diligently to find the right products that would work, as well as being a great teacher on how to properly apply those products. She listened to my needs and went above and beyond to deliver! Id still be utterly lost if it werent for her!
Staffs were kind.It would be better if displayed make-up products like eye colors and lipsticks for try are well maintained.
Please be mindful of sampling the lip products by applying directly to your lips, even with a Q tip. I was there recently and saw a customer sampling the Fenti Beauty lip gloss by applying it directly to her lips with the product applicator. Otherwise, I have always been satisfied with the service and products at this location. The perfume assistants are knowledgeable and over -the -top helpful, as are the makeup consultants.
Great deals on makeup
Outstanding
The customer service is really great and they have a almost very brand in store
I feel invisible when I shop at this location. I guess it’s better than having someone follow me around, waiting to catch me stealing. Still, it does make me start wondering what is it that keeps anyone from asking if I need help...
Very helpful employees
I just possibly had one of the best Sephora experiences out of all of the stores I’ve been to. When I walked in, the closest associate to the door made eye contact with me, greeted me, and asked me what I needed. I confessed that I bought makeup almost 5 months ago and did not know how to properly use it. In no time, Stephanie matched my foundation, showed me how to contour (properly), educated me on usage amounts and techniques, made a list of everything we discussed (product wise), and had me test out the new techniques on my face with feedback. It’s worth the drive to Christiana when it comes to exceptional service and help. I feel like I’m ready to seize the day with my new skills. Thank you ❤️
The personnel was great and really helpful when it came to choosing a look for my Prom
Great store. Fun to try new products.
Manager and certain employees are very rude and snooty. Better off shopping at the Nordstrom beauty department. Their level of customer service is much higher and much more professional.
I am so upset with Sephora right now. I have been trying since February to book a makeover appointment for my daughters prom. When Ive tried to book online,it never gave me the option to book any further out then April. I stopped in the store in February and was told that they werent taking appointments yet. I called the store recently and asked to book an appointment for May. I was once again told that they werent booking yet. I gave my name, phone number and email. Never heard from anyone! So, I stopped in the store yesterday to see if I could make the appointment. Guess what, they were booked on May 17th. I was furious. What more could I have done?? I was told..were sorry, there is nothing they could do!
Never ceases to amaze me how many people (and companies) understand so little about the concept of customer service. I will do anything I can for my customer, fulfill any reasonable request, go out of my way to make their life easier and spoil them as much as possible because I am asking them FOR THEIR MONEY. I spent a good amount of money here today for a birthday. THEY never asked me for a rewards number. Ok. No big deal. Mistakes happen. But I want the points. I just called and got Bianca, “the manager”, and she would not apply the points on the phone. “I’m sorry we can’t do that”. Why not? Of course you can. If it were me, I would have apologized that we did not do our jobs properly in the first place and ask for it while you were here. Then I would have bent over backwards to avoid inconveniencing my customer so they know I really do appreciate them. I wouldn’t make them drive over an hour, one way, to fix our mistake. I wouldn’t make them spend any more time on this calling another customer service number. If a receipt is damaged, you can enter the numbers manually. All you had to do was ask me to read the numbers. If, for some strange reason, Sephora was dumb enough to set up the system where you can’t, I’d have given my customer an email and asked them to send a pic of the bar code. That would take 30 seconds and it would be done. As an absolute last resort, which I highly doubt would be necessary, I’d get the needed information and call for them when I had a free moment. I’d be spending that time anyway if they came in. Regardless, they are my customer. I am going to take care of them because I want them to like shopping here, refer their friends and give good reviews. We aren’t here to serve you, Bianca. You are here for us. Isn’t that how you want to be treated as a customer in stores where you shop? Of course it is. That’s why we keep going back to stores that pride themselves on customer service and have customer friendly policies. If this experience is indicative of how you manage this store, I can understand all of the negative reviews. The true mark of a company is how they handle the little issues. That’s why positive reviews that don’t involve fixing an issue, which all companies run into, aren’t as meaningful. They say we learn from our failures, Bianca, so I guess this is an opportunity for you.
I always feel so uncomfortable in this store like Im being watched as a shoplifter cause they always follow me around. One girl I believe her name is Angel was very helpful and helped me out with everything I needed!
Let me start off by saying I buy tons of makeup weather it be online or in store. I had to go to Christiana mall on Tuesday to take my sons phone to Apple to get repaired so I had time to kill while it was getting done mind you I usually buy all my makeup products from online places and if I do buy from a store I have only bought it from ulta but Tuesday I had noticed while I was Apple that there was a huge Sephora right across from them. So being as though I had never shopped at one I had to go to give it a try so myself and my husband and our 9 year old daughter walked in and my daughter and I were so excited to see what you guys had there. Well let’s say that the excitement and happiness came to a complete end within my first 3 minutes of being in the store. My family and I were just walking around looking at things and let’s just say that your employee made us feel so uncomfortable it was ridiculous. She was following us around the store watching every move we made acting like we were going to steal something she would peek around corners to see what we were doing my daughter and I were looking at the new tarte pallet my daughter went to swatch one of the colors on the tester pallet and out of no where the creepy lady (employee) says to my daughter no don’t touch that your not aloud to touch it I said ma’am it’s a tester she is aloud to swatch it she said no you can’t lets just say this specific employee was definitely racist and showed it by the way she treated my family and the most upsetting part was that my 9 year old daughter had to witness this type of behavior from a place of business and she or none of the other employees were doing that to any other customer that walked in but us and it was because I am white my husband is black and our daughter is mixed it’s really frustrating and upsetting that me and my family were made to feel like criminals when we weren’t even doing anything but trying to shop for some makeup and hair products for me and my daughter and we wanted to try a new place out but I will tell you I will never come in your store again and I will make sure that anyone I know doesn’t come in there either. I own 3 of my own businesses and couldn’t ever treat a customer the way your employees do. My husband and I are very well known for all of our successful businesses and also I have a huge fan base social media so let’s just say I don’t need to steal anything I probably would of spent a lot of money in your store that day if it wasn’t for the way we were treated I’m still in disbelief and applaud by how we were treated.
I will only deal with Sephora online. The store at the Christiana Mall is disgusting. So dirty. Nothing in stock. Too many employees. My last and final trip there, I asked an employee if they had a specific product in stock . It appears on the Sephora website. When I asked about the product, the employee looked at me as if I was crazy. She had never heard of the brand coming out with anything other than lipstick. I had to pull my phone out and show the employee what I was referring to on the stores website. She just said, Oh, well we obviously dont have it in the store. Well Sephora employee. I went to your competitors store and purchased it. So there!!! Another thing I dont like about Sephora is when they have sales reps at the store who are representing particular brands. These reps run up to you, ask if they can help, you ask them if they know where a product is (the product you came into Sephora to buy), and they dont tell you where it is. Instead, they bring your attention over to the brand they are representing, and try to change your mind so you purchase their brand product. Which means they arent even listening to what you REALLY NEED. The product you initially asked them to help you find might be for oily skin, and they are trying to sell you something for dry skin, as long as it is part of the brand they are there to represent. What a waste of my time. And stop ringing your bell when an employee makes a sale! Its so tacky to make your customers aware of an employee sales contest you have going on! EWWW across the board. You get one star for your website.
I literally drove an hour and half to grab the 1 product I wanted that I saw they had in stock. Walked out of there with WAAAY more! Every single person I interacted with there went out of their way to help my mom and I and that was on a particularly busy Sunday. Julia and Debbie were incredible and there were two other associates who names I unfortunately forgot, but they were just as awesome. I will seriously be making the trek out there to buy anything I want from Sephora from now on (no sales tax helps too). Also a big shout out to the music in the store being great. Nothing worse than crappy music when youre trying on makeup and wanting a good time!
I go 3 samples and Im in love with it...
Ive been doing the free classes at Sephora and LOVE them! Love this shop in general.
Great place to look for make up
I love Sephora, but i don’t like this store because of the customer service. First of all nobody greeted me and staff was chating with each other, I was standing there waiting for being helped, then asked if somebody can help me. Girl looked a little annoyed by my questions. I was looking for a good oil-free moisturizer that would cost less than 60$, it took her time to find any, looks like she didn’t know the products so good. Also she would interapt me in the middle of conversation and loadly call other girl to say something work related stuff not even apologizing to me. I would choose another Sephora location next time.
Everyone is so nice at this location 🙂
I just left... Totally rude and selective when choosing customers to assist. I went in yesterday and tried on a few things. One lady helped, but I felt as if I was wasting her time. After “helping” she proceeded to help another customer of a different color and was all smiles. I left the store in tears.
The customer service was severely lacking. The girl who was supposed to be assisting me in a nearly empty store had a bad attitude and was just plain rude. Acting miserably as if she didnt want to work. I ended up leaving.
I went to Sephora (Christiana Mall) in search of hair products to breathe life back into my hair. After a fair amount of research and due diligence, I thought I knew what I was looking for, sort of.Enter Kat, the tresses-in-distress goddess to the rescue! Kat was amazing! She referred me to products that were all-natural with no parabens and safe for color-treated hair. She even scanned the Barcode to view the ratings submitted by actual users.Kat went above and beyond to help me and her recommendations were spot on! Verb is a godsend.Way to go Sephora for having someone like Kat on your team!vg
They carry Chanel Chance for $62 need I say more
