The guys are very helpful and nice. You dont have to wait for a long time be waited on. They check your car over to make sure there is nothing wrong.

Got all what I’ve asked them... Used to do oil and engine filter change in Midas, on Thornton Ave, till notice that my engine filter wasn’t even touched, but payment taken for that... Stoped at Jiffy Lube and got full service! Manager Erick brought me both cabin and engine filter and advised to replace them, which is appropriate and how it supposed to be. Thank you guys and keep it up!

Great staff with oil change services and more. They do the oil top up or basic change oil with complimentary vacuum, etc and ask permission first before they do additional charges for certain options. They also diagnose problems like brake fluid, pads, filters, lights, and ask permission before charging you and working on them in shop. Theres no appointment system in place yet so there might be a wait, but as long as we time it right, its very convenient for us so far.

Very friendly and pleasant experience. I had my oil changed, tires rotated, and transmission fluid changed. Took less than 40 minutes and there’s plenty of shops and places to eat to kill time. Highly recommend this location

Went in for an oil change. Eric (the manager) greeted me right away and had me pull into the open bay. Eric was working on all 3 cars. Then a man came in and asked Eric if he was working by himself? Eric said yes. With that the man (who turned out to be a District Manager) said what can I do to help? He went down in the pits and drained the oil from the vehicles. Then he came up and did everything they do on an oil change to my car. I’m so impressed that a District Manager stepped up and helped take care of the customers. It shows he respect his employees and customer. And he will get his hands dirty if his employees and customers need help. In my opinion it shows he cares about customers service.

Very nice ppl working here. Needed a new battery, brake fluid and oil change. Jiffy Lube seems to offer a lot more services which is so great. This way do not have to go running all over.

I always go to Jiffy Lube in Palo Alto CA but this time me and my Hubby was out in about in Fremont shopping and I needed a oil change so my Husband said theres a jiffy Lube so we pull in get the oil change and when we left to get on freeway the car made a funny sound I had thought my Husband had mash the gas down and made it do that so we get home in East Palo Alto and the check engine light came on tried calling jiffy Lube no answer so the next day I called them they o we forgot to put the Engine Filter back on just come back and well put it back on so now I have to go all the way back across the Bridge and have them put the filter back on and he Tells me o nothing will happen to your call and the check engine light shouldnt come back on and I told them if anything wrong with my car u are Responsible and low and be hold soon as we got back home the check engine light came back on and I looked up on the internet what could happen if that filter was not on it could cause a lot of damage took car to dealer ship and yes it messed up my Sensors it cost them almost $ 1,000 some dollars but do u think they offer a free oil change a gift card,pay for my tolls for crossing the bridge are something for messing up my car and, the Inconvenience that I had to go though Im disabled and it covid and I had to use a Rental car for almost 2weeks they paid but steel Ill just stay at the one in Palo Alto .

Been going here for years always had a great experience. But unfortunately as management changed so did the customer service! Its awful they dont do alot of the services they say they do online. When I called about a tune up and how much they start at (in which online and the other locations said they do) they asked what kind of car i had... ok I told them. Someone named Aaron told me he was told they dont have anyone in TODAY to do tune ups. OK. but I was asking HOW MUCH $$ DO THEY START AT. Then he asked a manager how much. And the answer then changed to they dont do them on MY KINDA CAR (its a Toyota 15).AGAIN I just wanted to know a price, when asked to speak to the manager cause I was now confused. I was told he was too busy and they didnt have time to answer one simple question, and then I was told they now dont do the tune up service anymore at all !!! The most annoying, unprofessional conversation ever. Now I prolly wont go there even for a simply oil change eaither since nobody knows anything!

Always a good visit at this Jiffy Lube location. These guys are always busy and hard working here at the Cedar Blvd Newark location. They don’t jip time and quality off of your service to get to the next vehicle in line (there is always a line here!). Enjoyed a few laughs too while I was here and can’t ever go wrong with some good fun!

Went in for a standard oil change. Coming out, the air conditioning wasnt working anymore. I went to an independent mechanic because now I dont trust this jiffy lube. He said that someone had opened the valve for the AC refrigerant and let out the gas, since he couldnt find any leaks. He said theres literally no other possible explanation. I dont want to assume that this Jiffy Lube deliberately let the refrigerant out so Id come back and pay them more money to fix it. I guess it could be possible that it was an accident and they just didnt know what they were doing, but the independent mechanic said theres no reason why they should have even interacted with the refrigerant to begin with for a standard oil change.Now I have a bill for $75 from a different mechanic to fix the mistakes that were made during the $79 oil change that I had at jiffy lube.

My experience at Jiffy Lube was excellent. Not only did I get an oil change, but also had my tires rotated, filter changed, replaced brake fluid, and cleaning, all for a reasonable price. All within 40 minutes! Newark, Northern California.

First let me start off by saying I called the Jiffy Lube in San Leandro on Hesperian where my car was serviced I called to ask that particular location what type of services they provided me so I can write them down and try to get to the bottom of issue I’m having with my car the guy who answered the phone at the location was very rude and I kept giving him information to help him find my car in the system I was very unsuccessful the call ended up being hung up on in my face I end up calling the Jiffy Lube here at Cedar spoke with Oscar phenomenal customer service same information I provided at the other Jiffy Lube I provided to Oscar he was able to find my car in the system also gave me pointers on what the problem can be that I’m having.... 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For Oscar great customer service

The staff here is super friendly! Service took a while, but thats to be expected with only 2 mechanics. If you come here, give yourself 30-45 minutes for an oil change.Overall, Im happy with my experience!

$50-100 for an oil change seems insane to me. PLUS another $30 for them to rotate my tires which they insist they need to do to check my brakes.I also got mansplained that “when brakes wear down they squeak,” which every 12 year old knows. I just wanted them checked before I headed out for a long drive, but thanks.

They broke my transmission doing a service on it, at first they didnt want to fix it but they ended fixing it. Didnt have my truck for three weeks. Very but services and it was the manager that burned up my transmission. They need more experience on everything.

Went in for $45 oil change and I wanted to use my oil filter. They gave me $2 credit on the filter and charged me $6 a quart to fill up my crankcase. (13 quarts total). My finale bill was almost $100 . I will be doing my own from now on! $24 for a gallon of $14 oil is over the top.

Super HONEST ! I bought a car and took it to Jiffy Lube as the change oil light was on. The rep told me that this car had its oil changed a month ago, he proceeded to show me how clean the oil in car was . Filled up my fluids, send me on my way ZERO charge ❣️❣️❣️❣️

This shop ruined my new car. They destroyed my gravel shield, made me spend hours jumping thru hoops with the promise that they would refund me the cost, then refused to pay for the damage after promising to. Disgusting place. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I work hard for my money, and dont deserve to be ripped off by you. Im not mad at jiffy lube, Im upset at the people who ruined my car and then wasted my time. You people are sick.

Good, quick service that you expect from Jiffy but this one is a bit more expensive and lines are sometimes an hour or 2 long. Id recommend dropping your car off and walking to the movie theater or 24 hour fitness across the street while you wait.

Friendly staff, but this process was not speedy in any way. I was there for 90 minutes and there was only one car ahead of me that was almost finished when I got there. The day after I got my oil change, I got a low pressure warning on my tires even though they supposedly checked it. Now I have to go back a second time.

UPDATED 7/29/19: This location continues its downward death spiral. Despite having added staff, it is plagued by poor service, low inventory, inexperience, poor training, and unethical business practices. Recommend you use another location if you value your vehicle and your time. If you insist on using this location, I highly recommend you check your own brake lights first since they attempted to tell me mine were both out (they were not) -- quoted me $9.99 per bulb which then changed to $14.99 per bulb for no explicit reason. Other ridiculous up sells include cleaning the battery terminals ($15). This location now markets itself as a full-service repair service -- be advised that while I was here (2hours for an oil change -- if I had known it would take this long I would have gone somewhere else), 3 different customers came in with issues that resulted from a prior JL service here.....this is the last time I will bring my vehicle to this location.....PRIOR REVIEW: location deems to always be more expensive than other Jiffy Lubes in the area. Recommend you print or bring a coupon. Average wait during non-peak times is 30-45 minutes, which seems excessive. The crew always seems distracted. Got a wiper service today, and they bent one of the wiper mechanisms so now I have to take my car to the dealer for repair.

Was there first time yesterday to change oil to my Nissan. I was there to change the engine oil but they were checking like detailing my car, wiper, headlight, signal light which I did not like. I had a $10 coupon. They tried to compensate that $10 from me. Finally they took more than 10 $ by changing air filter which was not needed and I was not willing to do that. And I suspect if they have changed, because they did not show me the new filter. The oil price is also expensive than other places, (eg 20-25 bucks ). This was my first and last visit with them.

I went in for a oil change and came out with front end damage which Cesar instructed the manager not to provide me his name or any information I later found out his name through Corporate office who then provided me the owners name and number when I reached out to the owner Cesar he refused to provide me any insurance information and ask that I drop off a estimate of the damages and when I did he stop answering my calls and text messages and instructed Philip not to give me any information. Bad business I tired keeping my money in my community but Ill never go there again.

Decent job but pricey than other places the guy told me 88 dollars for the service and I ended up paying 106.00 and that was just a full synthetic oil change... Nothing Else... I might check other places next time

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Wait… NO SERVICE at all!!! I called in advance to see how long it will take for an oil change. The guy over phone said he can do during my one hr lunch. So on my lunch I drove there to get an oil change. When I got there, the service technician told me about 1 ½ - 2 hours. I was like ok, probably they are busy. It’s understandable. What ticked me off the most, I was told to wait 30 minutes before he can check-in my car. There was no other customer in that building except for me. Plus, it would probably take him less than 5 minutes my check my car, but no he didn’t do that. He turned his back without looking at me, as if I was bothering him, and return to his workstation. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I would never to go this Jiffy Lube or any other Jiffy Lube again!

Just went there to do Uber inspection. The mechanic told me to park at a parking spot, and then I waited. No one shows. Later Uber tram came out and went home, telling me they are upstairs and the mechanic should have told me to go upstairs. No sign for doing so. They wasted my visit there.

Worst jiffy lube i have ever visited. Bunch of lazy empolyees. They took more than 2 hrs just to do the oil change. And i had to put the air on my tire after few hrs of service, even though they claimed that they checked the air pressure. They will go out of business soon.
