Great bakery treats here, especially love their butterscotch pecan scones, lemon crumb bars and crumb cakes! No coffee beverages ordered this time, but many fine, unique options to choose from here!Line was a little slow, but good enforcement of masking and social distancing were being practiced and it was clear a new barista was getting some on-the-job training and all were cordial and helpful
The service was great with nice staff. And I ordered a bagel sandwich with Avocado and a chai latte, but it was kind of pricey. Also, their outlets unfortunately dont work, so I couldnt charge my phone. But, I would return here again.
One of the best coffee shops around the university. They have plenty of seating space indoors and a large outdoor deck with a lot of tables and chairs. They are located in the second floor somewhat hidden away until you become familiar with the area. They use Brandywine Delaware Coffee roasters which I believe is an in house operation.
Very spacious coffee place with indoor as well as outdoor seating. I had the brew ha ha latte, which is a raspberry-mocha, with whip, and it was spot on! I also had the chocolate biscotti, but it was pretty hard :( Had to dunk it in my latte to soften. Not taking away points for that because the overall experience was so nice. The ambience is rustic and cozy. It was snowing when we visited, and that offered some pretty views from the patio. Definitely recommend!
The coffee is very good, though expensive.
A second-floor coffee place on Main Street in Newark with a warm, vibe. Fireplace, wooden tables, using locally roasted coffee. Beautiful tea selection too. Has a nice covered outdoor deck area quiet because it is off the street.
Good coffee and comfy place to hang out. My only complaint would be the hot chocolate, or any chocolate-based product, because they are made from chocolate syrup, not natural cocoa. It would be cool if they change their artificial syrups for some good natural/raw products.
I felt like they need more options with their coffee drinks. I was also bummed that they still use plastic straws, but glad they had metal spoons to use to mix my drink. The atmosphere was ok, my friend and I sat outside on the deck since it was a nice day....I feel like it was a big space, so I would suggest to have someone playing some acoustic music inside or outside. That might draw in a nice crowd...
Decent place. Coffee is good - I take a star away for two reasons.1. the nitro cold brew is so strong it’s bitter. I love a strong coffee, but not a fan. Honestly think it’s a mistake to brew that strong.2. I love to sit outside, and I understand this is a Delaware thing. But the cigarette smoke makes “fresh air” completely useless.
Went here for breakfast and ordered avocado toast which is usually two slices but received one and a half pieces? The toasts are already small but they have a lot on them so two is usually perfect. I guess the serving size changed, but thats just not worth $7.00.
Always friendly and cozy with better than average coffee. Good seating options - bar, tables, couches, stools, indoor/outdoor, something for everyone
This is the only coffee shop on Main Street that I can fully trust will be consistent with my order. As someone who is really picky with how milk is steamed, I appreciate that I can spend $4 on a latte and know that I will be happy with my drink. Staff is friendly, shop is clean, and I would highly rec their sugar cookies.
Great place to have a coffee and a snack off the beaten path in Newark. Its on Main Street, but It is located on the second floor and away from the street so its quieter. The south facing windows provide morning sun. Plenty of space to spread out and read, work or meet a friend. Good coffee and friendly service.
Is a nice restaurant with WiFe internet. So apart from getting or enjoying foodstuffs you will be able to work on your own.
Awesome place to hang out and relax. Really big sitting area and cozy chairs. I hear the coffee is good too!
Looks newly decorated and makes the space look bigger but the tables are crowded and the layout is haphazard.Food was decent and fresh.Couch super comfortable. I almost want more couches less tables.
Excellent sandwich with fig jam. Good Cap with heavy cream and art. The second cap was with milk and it ended up tasting a bit off, unsure if the milk was bad or what, but the heavy cream cap was perfect. Will still return, even though its peak Newark.
The service is excellent and they make the best flavored lattes. Its a nice place to sit and talk while drinking good espresso and eat.
Great drinks and a variety of food. A recent favorite is iced black tea with rose syrup. Dog friendly
I usually get the mochaccino and the Wilmington sandwich. Always delicious. 🙂
I had a delicious frozen beverage for my first strip here. Love the atmosphere inside as well.
About the best coffee place you can get in Newark! Comfy environment, helpful service, and their coffee really packs a punch. Ive been here a few times with friends, the environment is really conducive for a chat. For tips and tricks from the barista, avoid peak hours.
Great place! Pleasant and positive atmosphere. Good place for studying, meetings, socializing while enjoying your favorite beverage. The coffee was great.
Great place. I always ask for my coffee to be served in a mug. However, last time they said they had too much to do in the kitchen that they just preferred to serve it in a plastic cup. I think Brew haha can make a better effort to be more environmentally friendly.
Quintessential college town coffee house. Students and businessmen browsing their devices over brewed beverages; quiet conversations; homework over coffee.... exactly what you would expect and exactly what you want. Oh, and the coffee is excellent.
Best coffee location on main St. I would highly recommend to anyone!
Nice cafe, good selection of drinks and baked goods. College town so expect it to be busy. The have cozy couches and seating for reading, study, and computer usage.
Atmosphere is great for getting stuff and the accessible outlets are nice. Prices are still a bit high and the chairs that are outlet accessible arent terrible comfortable.
One of the best coffee / tea hang out place on main Street. Its not too laud but if you require absolute silence 🤫 this is not a place for you.
The baristas are great and extremely helpful/informative but the cashiers are always miserable. Its expensive for what it is, too, with inconsistent quality. Some days you can get the best drinks in town hands town (which is then worth the money) and other times it is really watered down and the baked goods sometimes even stale (which is then not worth the money, obviously). Hopefully it picks up! Consistency is everything!
The atmosphere is nice and cozy. They have bench seats along the wall lined with kilim pillows, industrial looking furniture, and tons of natural lighting. I came on a weekeday morning around 8:30am and it was not crowded at all. For a breakfast sandwich, a cinnamon bun and specialty iced coffee, I spend $15 and some change. (The place is hidden on the second floor of a multi-business building.) I would recommend checking it out!
Excellent coffee and food in the same place! Always delicious!
Awesome service, great fresh brewed coffee and other caffeinated beverages. Comfortable seating, great WIFI, the only place to go for your morning caffeine fix in Newark!
I used to study there - beautiful place
Excellent Service! Joy & Alexia were on point and so friendly!
Some of the best coffee in Newark, especially with the addition of soy and almond milk options. Its usually crowded but well worth the wait. Definitely a great morning hang out spot.
If you want real coffee on Main St., this is the place to go. Good selection of baked goods and made-to-order sandwiches as well. Service is quick and the digs are nice.
Nice outdoor seating. Good ambience.
Great coffee and atmosphere. Great indoor/outdoor spaces to hang out. My favorite coffee shop on Main Street.
One of the nicest place on Main Street to have a Cup of Coffee. The Brew Ha Ha! latte is... Mouthwatering!
Got an extra tall black iced cofee. I cant stop buying them theyre so good.
Polite & helpful staff. The coffee is expensive but only average taste. They do NOT clean the floors or furniture.
Great place to grab some coffee, a snack and hang out on the back deck for a few hours.
The best. I wish there were more locations.
Good stuff coffee wise interior design makes me want to un-eat the double cheeseburger I ate 3 months agoStaff good and well trained in making good espressoWhat the heck are those balls of material on the wall like a Salvador Dali anthropology hospital mix (unsettling)
My fiancée and I really enjoyed the signature Brew HaHa drink! We enjoy visiting new shops all over the country and this was one of the best drinks weve had!
Not the best coffee on UDs campus but its a great place to do Work. They have a nice patio outside as well
We had to 2 yummy lattes but the service was very slow
Great place to buy freshly roasted whole beans.
My favorite coffee shop on Main Street. The only annoying part is how busy it gets in the afternoon. Otherwise, they have great food, great coffee, and a large tea selection. My favorite drink is the traditional cappuccino.
Great service, nice balcony seating, good menu. Love that they have matcha lattes.
Nice place to hang out with friends and enjoy good coffee
Well priced and good staff. Coffee is great, particularly their cappuccino.
I love their tasty mochas and yummy cookies!
Of the half a dozen places to get a cup of coffee on this block, this place is by far the best. Get a tall drink and study your butt off here.
Good espresso, okay coffee. Not my favorite coffee shop, but pretty good.
The place is so comfy and their coffee is good! The food is a little bit overpriced!
I enjoy getting coffee here because of the neat atmosphere, friendly employees, and great coffee.
Delicious drinks, delicious food, perfect service
By far the best coffee house in Newark. The baristas are friendly. The service is great. Amazing bagel melts and great coffee.
Super nice staff, great coffee, quick service, nice atmosphere highly recommend
Super awesome, chill, great guysEdit: Lately I feel like the house coffee is suffering from some dilution (-1 star). I only go there for espresso or lattes anyways now :P
Ive been here on 3 different ocassions to visit my daughter in the past 2 months. This last time took the cake. I ordered adouble shot in ice because iam lactose intolerant. They refused to give me alevee enough cupeven though ioffered to pay for it. Apparently they are too concerned with people stealing their milk and making lattes. Needless to say they ripped me off for 3.00 because icould not drink tnt espresso that strong and had no place to put my ice.. never again with theses guys what a waste
Its the best coffee house on Main Street for a reason! Comfy atmosphere, good coffee, and wonderful workers. What more could you ask for?
I love the brew ha ha specialty latte
Super cozy place for hot drinks and Cafe sandwiches and soups
Great coffee. Nice atmosphere. In Serbian : Odlična kafa - kapućino. Prijatna atmosfera.
I really like their new renovation with white walls.
It has good atmosphere. You can work here or hang out. The coffee is average though.
Awesome coffee, good food, great service, free wifi... what else to ask do you need in a coffee shop?
Spacious coffeeshop. Good for excellent lattes and studying.
Great local coffee shop. Probably wouldnt recommend any other inside Delaware.
Better than Starbucks and less crowded, period.
Great coffee, treats, and ambiance. A must visit when were back in Newark!
Great atmosphere, great coffee, and the service is always pleasant
Great coffee, personable and friendly staff, and an overall positive vibe makes Brew Haha! the go to coffee shop on Main Street.
Excellent coffee and food!Friendly service and great place to chill!
Its unfortunate that I cant give it more stars because the coffee/espresso drinks are very very good, but that doesnt extend to some of the baristas. Two times I ordered an iced latte with an extra shot, and I watched him put the milk in first, leave barely enough room, and when he started adding the second shot he ran out of room and just poured the excess espresso into someone elses drink. I watched him do it. Twice. I paid extra for the espresso, i.e. I wanted all of it in my drink, not 1/3 of it. Also, just got another drink with flavor in it, barista completely ignored the flavor request I guess because it doesnt have any in it. Great coffee and products, maybe not so great baristas. :(
Great coffee, great staff. If you have any questions regarding coffee these are the people to talk to.
Brewed awakenings across the street has better everything and the coffee is organic.
Love their coffee, but it’s always crowded
A great place to get tasty lattes, work, and relax with friends.
A really gorgeous and relaxing spot, with amazing products, and classy, knowledgeable staff.
The best cafe in Newark 🥰
Decent coffee, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere!
Great service, nice atmosphere...Awesome effin coffee!!!!!
Decent coffee and sitting area indoor and outdoors
Great coffee shop.
Nice place, great staff, and real coffee.
Cozy place, good coffee and sandwiches, parking nearby
Fun atmosphere. Good coffee.

Nice place. I like it.
Like Starbucks, but a million times better.
Coffee is really good
