This is my first time in this area, but I’ve heard of this place before. It’s a really clean place and the latte is yummy. Service was awesome also. I would chill here anytime.

Hands down one of the best cafe in town. I go to NJIT, and now this is my go-to spot. Perfect coffee, perfect egg & cheese sandwich and delicious brownies!! Not to mention, the staff is super friendly, the place is clean along with good vibes.

The place has nice employees, good tea/coffee and othe drink. Like how i got a vanilla milkshake and a red velvet cupcakes it was good

I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a vanilla shake. Both of them were well prepared and tasty. Staff is courteous.

Try the mango matcha!! I love this place & they always have a fresh variety of baked goods (which is great because I always have a sweet tooth)

Its beautiful in the building but the whole foods store is expensive the prices drove me out. Like that place wasnt made for the locals.

Amazing Amazing drinks and customer service. I lost my mask on the way to the store and since I couldn’t shop/enter without a mask,I was panicking a little bit when I got there the lady offered to make me my drink while I stood outside! Thank you very much if you are reading this! I was very hungry 😂 I should have tipped.

Awesome team, great customer service! The frozen drinks are amazing. I love the Strawberry Bliss and the Caramel Ice Dragon. The set up is beautiful and condiments are available to use as you wish. They also have Sweetwater merchandise for sale!! Great job team!!

Extensive menu of tea and coffee drinks! I can speak to their variety of quality loose leaf teas, which I order with steamed dairy milk alternatives e.g. soy, oat, etc. Nice modern environment with high ceilings and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great option - thanks!

I read the awesome reviews and dropped by for a cup of hot cocoa on Saturday evening.However, the experience left much to be desired. The barista was unfriendly to say the least and made the most disgustingly sweet hot cocoa I have ever tasted. When I complained, she was unable to salvage the situation and rather chose to offer more milk to cut down the sugar level in hot cocoa( I wonder if she even understood- if I wanted extra milk with tons of sugar and a hint of chocolate, I would have asked for it). I felt cheated as a customer for the price I paid,two sips and I had to discard my beverage.Poor taste, and extremely poor service.I was hopeful this would be my coffee place to go to in Newark but I for one am taking my business elsewhere.

Owner and staff are very friendly. They greeted us as soon as we came in. Ordered two iced tea lemonades and a cookie. Will definitely come back.

Coffee and food was great! Smooth taste, not bitter, and cold brew did not give me headache like most coffee places.

Love this place. The staff and owner are super friendly. My fav drink of them all is the Dreamy and now tht they have pumpkin I get the pumpkin flavor dreamy. Omg a must try if u like iced coffee. The pastries are really delicious as well as the coffee n tea.

I went there yesterday for the first time and I tried a chocolate cupcake with a mini peanut butter cup and their special chai apple cider drink. My opinion the apple cider was so delicious combine that with whipped cream and caramel drizzle, no need to add anything extra and it was my first time drink chai, the cupcake was fine

It is quiet,cozy and ha decent prices for their drinks and cakes.

Decided to come here to kill some time, mainly because Ive never seen this place before and it looked rather clean and cozy. I only ordered the French Vietnamese au Lait, which was quite good so I can only assume that everything else there is good too.10/10 new favorite café

Perfect shop for downtown Newark. Small, quaint and delicious coffee. And the staff are S U P E R accommodating and VERY nice. I usually get the Crème Caramel with almond milk until one of the SUPER DUPER nice baristas (I dont know her name but will update when I find out) suggested I try the oat milk. It must be popular because when I ordered it recently, they were out of oat milk. I jokingly offered to buy them some oat milk from the Whole Foods next door in the Hanhe building. Instead, it was made with the almond milk. And the same barista suggested the organic agave to sweeten it up a little with a piece of the coffee cake. Hot perfection after the perfect workout at Planet Fitness. I cant wait until my workout is complete tomorrow for some oat milk PERFECTION! And that awesome barista.
