A friend recommended this supermarket to me since she said there were a great variety of Spanish products and if I did spend certain amount they would provide free transportation of my groceries. I always shop at Aldi and Shop Rite and I am satisfied with them but I wanted to get that new experience and find some good avocados among other vegetables that I do not easily find in other supermarkets. So my friend and I went there this morning. They have great variety of Spanish products, fresh produce and decent meat selection. Most of the products are overpriced but you do not mind if you really want them.However, what will stop me from stepping in that place again was the treatment that I received from one employee, that later I was told is one of the owners. I spent more than enough to qualify for free transportation and when he heard me asking for it he promptly jumped to say they did not offer transportation to my area even when it is in Newark and they had bring groceries to my neighbor several times. He was very rude on saying so and asked me what made me think that they would offer me transportation and when I told him my neighbor told me so he continued with his rant saying that my neighbor was nobody to assure me they would do that. The driver tried to pacify the situation saying he would deliver our groceries but by then i did not want to hear anything else and I called a cab. It was frustrating, annoying and embarrassing. I have never been in a situation like that and even less when it was one of the owners involved. I do not want to hear anything about that place again. I will continue shopping in places that I know have professional treatment for their customers and excellent customer service.

Good prices, customers service and fast checkout. It was my first time shopping there I definitely would go back and recommend if you looking for Spanish products there vegetable were fresh.

Pretty simple and decent really. Just your average local supermarket to get the necessities you need for your home and kitchen. The sales they have are great too especially if youre on a budget so look into that as well.

If i could give this place a 0 * i would. Its expensive to shop here and the meats are nasty dont buy them or the cold cuts..

This place is horrible. Way too expensive. The vegetables and fruits are NOT FRESH. The staff is super rude, especially the owner or manager.. they dont give the faces try to avoid customer when they have a issue.

Went there at 7am this older guy with a Cuban accent that may be a MANAGER there cursed at me in Spanish because I was there when they open at 7am. He said I was in a rush and too early. HE WAS YELLING that I should take care and threathened me with bodily harm. If it was not such a hassle I would go to the POLICE but DO avoid this place that guy who may even OWN the place is a VIOLENT A-HOLE

Local supermarket with aloy of international options. This is the place to go for Spanish ingredients and good meats. Prices are very reasonable.

This Super Market is always stocked with the items my family needs, & wants. If they dont have a product in stock they will order it if you like.The staff are polite, & helpful if need be.This place is also clean & organized OH & I saved the best part for last, Their Great everyday low prices & weekly super savings.

This grocery store is extremely over priced!! I come here out of convenience since it is close to home but its better to just drive the 8 minutes to the shoprite in nutley or belleville.

They have a very nice selection of everything;; But the prices are outrageous. I wont go back. I can definitely beat their prices at a few other places. Times are to hard to have to prices you dont have to.. My advice is to shop around.

This place offers a wide variety of goods from produce to poultry to dish soap. However, as far as food goes (especially the vegetables), the quality is not always consistent. Not only that, but the prices of many products here are high for certain products compared to similar stores such as Shoprite. Perhaps, this place should offer more deals on more products and lower prices in general. Yes, this will result in a decrease in revenues at first, but contribute to an overall increase in sales in the long run.

They have the best selection of imported goods in the area. The meat selection is versatile and service is exceptional.

For ethnic and Spanish ingredients and products, this is the spot. Dont worry that its in Newark as no one bothers you and all the people that work there are friendly and helpful and they do speak English as well. The only that is inconvenient is that you cannot push the cart to your car, so you either have to grab all your bags, if youre alone, and walk to your car or you have to leave your cart, run to your car and then try find a spot closest to your cart.

Its okay. Sometimes good and fast, sometimes the whole world is here and everything is like Walmart slow for cashiers sometimes. Only good thing is that it is very local and convenient.....except for the panhandlers in the parking lot.

Never buy fruit here it’s almost always old or no good. It’s convenient but that’s all the good I can say. If you’re trying to get the most out of your money go anywhere else but here. Places like Walmart are a much better choice for you and your wallet.

I have lived near Pueblo Meat Market for almost 17 years. I can count on one hand the number of times Ive gone there to shop. I mention this to point out the exorbitantly priced groceries and rude customer service. Each time Ive made an attempt to give it another try, the results were the same. If it is perceived that you are not like them, you are treated with polite disdain. The reason Im giving them a star at all is to be able to post this review.

This super market is the oldest in North Newark. Most super markets dont have butchers on deck but they do and theyre products are great. Friendly environment and the place is clean.

The meat department has good meat and they will clean it for you

I go to the supermarket all the time theres depending on what youre buying theres a lot of great prices for example if youre looking for chicken legs you could find one pack with eight pieces in it for $2.50 the pork chops you could get maybe six pieces for 5.60

A North Newark staple for Latino food and more. The place is not huge but its packed with many ethnic products from the Caribbean, Latin America and more. Usually a bit untidy due to the many products that are moved but worth the visit for the prices and variety. They have a pretty impressive meat market as well.

A friend of mine told me about this supermarket and let me tell you ever since ive been going there for all my meats. And they have everything you can think of with Spanish and European spices as well they even carry goya products that i hadnt seen in years. Yeah there a definite 5 star supermarket
