Phenomenal store!! Great food especially their hot food!! The store also has great specials each day! A little pricey, but I dont mind paying for quality service and food.My mother use to say you get what you pay for. The Fresh Market is totally worth the prices!!

Someone gave us an apple pie from there awhile back my husband said best apple pie he had in a long time. So I went yo get another they are a little pricey but every now and then what the heck !Really a neat store be sure you have sometime to kill so you can look around. Will go back again!

This is the only place I go for specialty meets prime rib and steaks they have the greatest selection its always delicious and they have a wonderful produce section and deli and I love the bakery and all the bread varieties.

One of my favorite stores to visit! They have the best Baked Brie and a large selection of coffee beans to choose from. Always can find good quality great snacks, baked goods, and fresh produce. Definitely try their Champagne mangos!

Great selection of produce. Steaks are great, really like the meat dept. Its a little pricey but you get what you pay for. The bakery is phenomenal. Staff is so helpful, shout out for their help with wheelchair shopping. Can get coffee up front to enjoy during shopping and its always fresh and hot or its on them.

My 1st time coming to Fresh market and quality meats and products are here! Especially the bakery dept (Tom is awesome). Very clean store and It is on point with fresh bread and desserts. I will be returning.

Was a great experience in catering my Thanksgiving Dinner this year. Shared with all my family and friends. Reasonably priced, great taste and the benefit of someone else cooking and still getting great leftovers. Will plan to do this again for Christmas dinner if available! Love almost everything Ive ever eaten from here. I like the layout and feel inside the store, enjoy the family meal kit feature. I pick up Sushi a lot. Lots of treats! Love their apple pie and loaf cakes. Lots of snacks. A big variety of fun and yummy stuff!

This is hands down my favorite grocery store. I haven’t found better quality food anywhere else in this area. The meats here are especially high quality. The only comparable I’ve had has been meat purchased directly from a slaughterhouse.

This is the cleanest grocery store around! Excellent, high quality, mostly organic products. On the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. Tuesdays are usually the day for specials...B1g1 free or 50% off deals, usually in the meat department. Excellent coffee, and free samples!

The PINEAPPLE BROWN SUGAR cake here is AMAZING!!!!!!!! Ill make a special run to this store JUST for that. Some of the workers here are pretty friendly, while others are meh. Prices are about what youd expect from a store like this. Quality of food is great.

Enjoyable shopping experience; single meats I the butchers deptmart; chicken breast wrap with asparagus, crabcakes, coconut bread shrimps, tempers breaded shrimp, already fried chicken wings, chicken salad is back for small portions and Wardolph salad, pecan pie and more.

Good they arent currently caring Califia cold brew the large one. They have the small ones only.

Love this place! I had a tuna fish sandwich today... the croissant is so buttery and the tuna fish is very good! They also carry my favorite vegan robs cauliflower puffs!!!

I purchased some muffins which are normally already in a plastic container. They didnt have any sitting out but they had them in the pastry display. I asked for a plastic container but by doing so, I paid for them as individual muffins which cost about $2. more. Ill still go back and shop because I love FM.

I love them because they have okra chips! To be honest, theyre a bit pricey but I found hearts of palm on clearance. Id previously bought some at another store(in which I paid nearly 10.00 for the jar. I picked up the ones there(they were only 1.72 apiece). They also have great prepared foods, like their pot pie; so delicious!) Ill definitely come back when Im in town.😋

Like their sales. Every Tuesday $2.99 a pound of fresh ground beef, and antibiotics free chicken breast. On Thursdays, they have roasted chicken for $5.00. Very clean groceries store.

I love shopping at The Fresh Market. The employees are friendly and always ready to help. I enjoy walking around and walking down the aisles to see what’s new. There are unique items for each holiday. The fresh flowers are so beautiful!

Love the quality and variety. The Little Big Meals are the bomb. Its pricey though so I cant afford to use it as my main store for groceries.

Seafood and meat are always of high-quality. Their salads in the deli department are also very well made. Its just a little bit pricey especially when the pandemic has caused so much financial lost to many. Its a shame they cant offer better sales and lower their price.

Cant say enough good things about Fresh Market! Friendly folks, beautiful produce, wonderful food. A little pricey, but the French Rounds in the bakery and flavored coffees are SO worth it!

Great Higher-End grocery store. The fresh sections are worth the trip! Prices are commensurate with the quality in the deli, meat, bakery. Great selection of specialty foods and small-batch brands. Some of the brands are cheaper elsewhere, but the convenience is hard to beat.

I think management has changed in the last 60 days. I say that because all the staff were quite helpful, diligent and well groomed. The produce area was fantastic, even though it was 6 00 p.m. on a Sat. Night ... Especially the store was kempt, in order and staff on hand to answer questions about location of items I couldnt find.GREAT JOB !!

Excellent service and high quality meats.

High quality and a wide range of items for sale. Perfect place for those hard to find recipe ingredients. Well kept, warm, and friendly environment. Their olive bar is delicious and the variety of cheese they offer is to die for. My family and I love browsing the trail mix and nut bar and my kids love their chocolate and gummy candy bar as well. Fresh meat and seafood is always kept well stocked and fresh. The price is on the higher range but the quality and variety they offer cant be beat.

They offer $20 dinner plan for four people. It covers from salad to dessert. You can pick choice of variety for some of meal. You can save money and time to think of menu and cook because you can also get the direction.I usually go there on Tuesday for chicken breast and ground chuck sale. They sometimes offer some other meat deal as well, its great deal for good quality. And their coffee selections are good too.

I know they are always pricey, but they really do live up to their name. Everything I always buy is fresh. I wish I worked here so I could get a discount and get amazing food!

Has the best meats around! The hamburgers are fantastic, the steaks are amazing, the bratwurst are to die for, the andouille... i could go on and on. While pricey, it simply has the best deli around!Pair it with the great selection of cheese and wine/beer and its my go to spot when Im wanting to make myself something a little more special!

The fresh market has the freshest meat that I have tasted in the Newport News area. I would have to say it is my definite go to place for getting fresh meats. They also have an amazing dessert selection as well as wine. The produce is always fresh, they even have a candy bar, coffee bar and a nuts bar. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to shop for meats, produce, coffee, wine, candy and yummy desserts.
