***UPDATE***The Kloke Group has agreed to settle and pay me back for the damage. HOWEVER, that was over a month ago and I have yet to recieve that check. I have attempted to contact Amy in the claims department and have got nothing back. They scheduled me a delivery date, did not show up. Did not call, and wouldn’t answer the phone. They are totally disorganized and completely unprofessional. If you have a choice never give them any businesses.

Is there an option for negative stars? I’m a cancer patient. I was forced to cancel treatment in order to accommodate their tardiness, otherwise I was not getting my stuff. They arrived late. Two days late! The company rep (Lawson Breedlove) did not care to resolve the issue. My movers were Cory and Shakeem. Shakeem did almost all of the work. Cory sat back and took his time. Spent 3 hours wrapping a few glasses and plates because his chatter on the cell phone was more pressing. Some of the items he wrapped arrived broken. Shakeem did all the heavy lifting and even asked if I could help. I felt really bad for him. A move that started at 11 AM and should have taken a few hours went until past midnight. Oh yeah! They completely damaged my hardwood floors.
They showed up on the day scheduled. I was supposed to get a full unpack service. They kept telling me to unpack the boxes and they will pick up the boxes at a later date. Then they broke my furniture and left it broken and half assembled. Lazy and unprofessional. They were trying to assemble a large furniture with 1 person. The pieces were lining up.
They stole major items from me while I was on deployment and my stuff was in long term storage. MILITARY BEWARE!!!! Dont put your HHG in long term storage with them. The people who answer the phone will give you the run around until they see your claim is due then give you the information. Then they wont pay for your claim. I filed a claim with the BBB and they didnt respond to them. Awful company for storage and customer service. They also didnt fix the items they broke when moving my stuff in. Dont use this company!!!!!
Continuing from my wifes (Deidre Salter) review: another excuse for why the workers didnt show up today was that he couldnt reach Gordon. He sent my wife Gordons number (as if she was suppose to get a hold of him). I called Terrell and he eluded to me making contact with Gordon to set something up. First off, these are YOUR workers sir; you reach out and set something up, thats not my job! Further, when you texted my wife with Gordons number you said he would put our items together for us, as if he was on his way. So, out of desperation I called Gordon and my wife texted him. He didnt answer the phone, nor did he respond to her text, and... I couldnt leave a message because the mailbox was full. NEEDLESS TO SAY, we have no place to eat (the dining room has not been setup) and we have limited space to sleep (only 2 bed were setup but we are a family of 5.... so they didnt finish 2 bedrooms). And here is the GOTCHA, NOT ONE MEMBER of the Kloke Group has apologized. Out of all the calling, texting and back and forth today, the supervisor hasnt apologized; the person who broke the desk hasnt apologized, the guy who damaged my wall, door, and door frame hasnt apologized...THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE!!!! I would NEVER recommend them! If the Navy/TMO gives you an option to pick your moving company, stay away from this one! (The only people who were good to us and professional were Darlene (A+) and Andrew- they call him AJ (B-). The company is suppose to come back tomorrow at 5pm. Well see what happens....
Terrible customer service when providing ETAs (Estimated Time of Arrival) First, I was never notified of the time until I called the office. I was told between 12pm -2pm. At 2pm, I called for status, I was told 3pm. At 3pm, I called for another Time estimate, I was told the crew was wrapping up the last job and would be here shortly. At 5:15pm, I called and the office closed at 5pm. Im gonna assume the movers will not be showing up. **UPDATE**The crew arrived shortly after 6pm. It was not the crews fault, they were giving status updates but the office was calling the wrong number. Either way, I called on numerous occasions to verify my contact information. The moving crew was professional, friendly, and worked fast. If I could recommend improvement, it would be directed towards the customer service office.
Movers very nice and professional. Andre and Andrew were on time and treated my belongings with care. They scheduled us in for moving quickly. We would use them again.
The most rude and professional company ever. I will be nore then happy to elaborate on this review after and if ever i receive my shipment.How is it possible that 3 different offices in the Navy tell me you have my shipment but you tell me you Dont Know if you have it and to call back another time?Funny how after rude emails to multiple people, now my shipment magically showed up and I have a delivery date within 30 minutes. Ill continue my review on Thursday if they show up.
Red FLAG!!! I called last week asking for someone to give me an estimate on an out of state move. The person Tina that I spoke with seemed annoyed with my call, but I wrote it off as a bad day. After not receiving a call back days later, I decided to give Kloke one more opportunity to bid the job. I called again, this time speaking with someone I thought to be the same person. She RUDELY informed me that she was not the same person & when pressed, reluctantly gave me her name Christina. The conversation continued in such an adversarial manner that I eventually asked if she wanted the opportunity to bid on the job. Christina hung up the phone on me!Too bad, this is a big job and Ive used other United carriers throughout the country for my multiple corporate moves.Good luck to you Kloke and I hope Christina finds peace & realizes that she has an important role in creating great customer service.
This is my second round of dealings with the company and it is going badly. First go round my product was delivered broken and upon discovering this I was met with incredulity and hesitation to take responsibility for the issue. This time called for the 3rd time to schedule delivery and was met with blatant hostility by the person on the phone. Having just finished a 26 hour shift myself, my desire to feign concern was non-existent. Upon being dismissed passive aggressively for correcting the womans misreading of my address I told her that I appreciated her help and that I didnt care for the aggression in her tone or how curt she had been. She said nothing.
Awful. The people on the phone were extremely rude. They came 3 days later than they were supposed to. And half of my furniture arrived destroyed. And they told me it wasnt their fault that the furniture is broken so they refuse to pay for the damages.
A large storage and shipping company that employs some of the least qualified people. Delivery of stored items was a poor joke. Would never use again
If I could give no stars I would. This moving company is unprofessional, lazy, and down right rude. Gilmore crumps packing team are some of the most unprofessional people I have ever met. Not only did they blatantly lie, they failed to give phone calls they said they would and they also broke contractual agreements. I am now having to pack and move myself and cause enormous pain as I am a disabled veteran. Due to their unprofessional behavior I had 1 day to pack and move my entire house. This will be reported to all the bases, the news as well as all veteran service organizations in the Hampton roads area. They will also be receiving copies of my medical bills. There is a reason their reviews are so low.
Scheduled a delivery on a Monday, never showed up and no call. Called the next day and set up for Wednesday when I called them to get a time frame for delivery found out it wasnt even set up for that day and now its been rescheduled for Friday. In summary they are disorganized, very poor communication with customers and a very lax attitude about it as well, almost as if they dont care that they have wasted 3 days of my time.
A rating of 1 is an extreme compliment for this piss poor excuse of a company. Ordered a treadmill that Kloke has had for well over two weeks....order was orginally placed over a month ago. We finally got fed up with all the bs run around, canceled this order, went with Amazon and one week later it was in my house and put together. Told these morons twice already that thanks to their crappy customer service, that the treadmill is now their problem....they are still trying to deliver the treadmill.
Never showed up. Don’t waste your time or your energy. Company should be shut down.
Never got our entire furniture from them. And they broke our tv and desk ... worst company ever.
