A very seamless process. The only thing I would prefer is that oil for the service package is full synthetic instead of a mix of conventional and whatever else is in the oil. Im going to guess its a mix or recycled oil. I would also like to see what the breakdown is between the 1 ⭐2⭐3⭐4⭐ coverage packages are. Its presented at first that there is only one package then after getting through the paperwork I found out there are 4 different options.Otherwise your loan officer at the Newton location is very professional and so are your car salesman Jonathan. I really enjoyed my car buying experience here.

I would highly recommend Conklin Car in Newton for servicing your car. They were very thorough and went through the details when they were done as far as what they did. The service/receptionist lady even will find out how much an item is if needs replaced. Going beyond what she needed to do. That says alot to me. They even vacuum and wash your car!!! Thats such a nice feeling to get back in your car thats clean and serviced.

I traveled from St. Louis to Newton for a festival, and my 2010 Ford F-150 had a problems starting. The Parts Department manager Keith helped to diagnose my problem, and sold me a new Motorcraft battery. He also let me borrow the necessary tools to install the battery into my truck, and had one of the Porters, Casey, drive me back to my hotel to help install the battery. These people are truly what make this business run, and it is no wonder Conklin in Newton, KS has such high ratings in their reviews. Truly top-notch customer service.

Conklin cars cant be beat for customer service. Every person i have encountered was very kind, positive and happy. I have purchased 3 cars from Conklin and I have all of my service work done there as well.

First time I had my truck in was for recall work, and then to check my tailgate that wouldnt open, windshield wash wouldnt dispense, and to change trans fluid and filter. Had a 8 am appointment took 7 hours to fix recall, didnt have parts to fix items that didnt work, and performed a transmission flush didnt change trans filter. Not sure why a flush was performed on a vehicle that only has 30k miles.So now I have $159.00 in trans fluid that will need to be dumped in order to change filter. Called the following day and left a message for who ever was in charge of shop. Still havent heard back from him and that was over 2weeks ago.Wont be buying anymore vehicles there and sure wont be back for any service/warranty work.Travis Kitzmiller

I always get my oil changed here since we bought the car there. They always do a great job of checking my car over to see if I need anything else done like a filter replaced or how my tires are wearing or my breaks. They are always friendly and courteous.

I was traveling through Kansas and had my vehicle break down. Dealership was unwilling to even scan the trouble code. Had to have my truck towed to Don Hatton Ford. Im sorry I wasted my time at Conklin Ford.

I took my jeep to Conklin in early June to have the transmission dipstick replaced. After calling numerous times I was told the delay was because a change in computer systems and moving from one area to another, also the part was on back order.. I would have to call several times to get anyone to tell me when it would be done..My Jeep was there until mid-July!!!

They were difficult to communicate with after hours. I had to call three times and you have to get transferred around until you get the right person. $140 to diagnose a starter problem is too high. So yesterday I went in to get something checked for warranty and they said they would call me in the next couple days. Then today they called me to let me know that the person taking care of my warranty process was not in and they would call as soon as they could to let me know though.Very few places have great customer service like that. That should be how customer service is anywhere, but in todays world it is going above and beyond and by some people it is very much appreciated! Not just that but the atmosphere is very professional.

BUYER BEWARE!!If I could give a negative star rating I wouldPurchased a truck from them, or so I thought..... When I went to look at the truck it had to chips/cracks in the windshield. Asked the sales person about it they said they would check with the sales manager to see if they had been sealed, the sales manager advised the cracks had been sealed.SO as a customer they called and texted with me back and forth, about price and answered other questions I had. The sales person ended up calling me when they got in the next week and asked what they could do to sell me the truck. I told them the number I was willing to pay (truck and fees included) for the truck, and if we couldnt come to an agreement so be it. They said that they could make that happen come up and I could buy the truck for that price.Went in to sign papers on the truck and they had added an additional $100.00 for the doc fee, because they claimed thats what we agreed on. I said no I told the sales person I would pay this amount not a penny more. So they re-did the paper work minus the doc fee. After signing papers i walked out and got in the truck. The windshield still looked like it had not been fixed. Walked back in the store and asked if it had been done. The sales manager assured me it had, so I asked him if it breaks will you take care of it he said yes, shook my hand and that was the end of it.A few mornings later it was cooler had the defroster going and the wind shield split. Called and asked for the sales manager per our handshake agreement; he was not in. Talked to Randy White, the general manager, he told me they would not be fixing the windshield and if I didnt like that answer I could bring the truck back. I asked why they wouldnt do what they said they would do, he said they didnt make hardly any money on the truck so they didnt have money to replace the wind shield.I didnt force him to sell me the truck for the price we agreed to, he could have said no; he could have countered a different price and included the windshield, or he could have simply fixed it before selling. I returned the truck to them as this left a bad taste in my mouth about what else they could be hiding and the fact that they dont stay behind their word.Moral of the story, GET IT IN WRITING dont trust them at their word.

Asked to have the reverse light serviced and it wasn’t done or even communicated to the specialist. Experience wasn’t good at all.
