You can always quickly get qualified help at this store and in todays world of disrupted supply chain they have the best inventory of items in stock. I like this store way better than big box orange place.

I always try to avoid Home Depot and Lowes. My first stop is a locally owned business. They were closed so I went to Valu. Everytime I go, its a pleasant experience.

Staff always available, friendly and they had what I went in for!

Don in the paint department was a difference maker today! He was spectacular and the reason we will go back.

When I needed an item for my home in a pinch I know I can trust they will have it and it will be reasonably priced

Easy to find what you need n really helpful staff

Love this place. Much more reasonable in price compared to other stores Home Depot, Lowe’s etc The help is much better. They see you almost right away and ask you if they can help you with anything. They always welcome you as soon as you walk in the store and as soon as they see you leaving they thank you for coming

Good selection of products, but dont bother buying much if home depot sells it cause valu will take your wallet for a ride with prices. The same silicone tape at valu was 10, home depot sells it for 6. Emery cloth sandpaper was 12, home depot sells for 7. Brasso was 9 and home depot is 5. Just a few examples... Great value if everyone else is sold out of the same product I guess.......

Fast and friendly service

Small home hardware store that is easy to find what your looking for. Unlike the big warehouse store which may take you awhile to find what you need. Only downfall is they are limited on stock in the store. But workers who are more than willing to help you out unlike most big stores. A good choice for a quick in and out shopping.

I love Valu! There is ALWAYS someone to help find things. I prefer to go to Valu than home despid. Wish they carried a few more things like drywall and some lumber. Great customer service and the staff is always friendly, helpful and respectful. My #1 place to go for my home projects!

Valu is amazing, beats the heck out of home Depot or Lowes. There are actually people to ask for help and that approach you if you look like youre looking for something. When was the last time that happened to you at a store? The cashier today was exceptionally friendly, I didnt expect anything less!

At the Porter Rd, NF store this happened. Very helpful. Excellent service. First a male employee gave me a hint to keep a bird bath from being knocked over by filling it with sand. 2nd, he and a female employee helped split a bag of sand which was already opened, and too heavy for us older folks to pick up. Then the same young lady asked the mgr for a discount on the open bag of sand and then she accompanied us out to our car to help us unload. Wow, very impressive.

Extremely helpful, plenty of merchandise to choose from. You never have to walk around trying to find someone to help you.Love the time you save by going to Valu first. Saves me time, and I am very pleased with my purchases.

The store has great service personnel. My only complaint is with the inventory buyer of those Valu stores. Most products are average but some suffer from quality issues. Buyer beware when you install a product that may need to be returned. Is it really worth the hassle to find the rock bottom price for a fixture that will not last more than five years before it too needs replacement.

With all the big stores and their high prices its nice to go to a store and save money and the associates are always helpful try this went to home depot filter for my furnace there $5.99 for one valu $1.99 for one yes valu is my go to place
