I would highly recommend Granite Depot in Nicholasville. They have a great selection of affordable granite. If you follow directions, the installation process is a breeze. They did exactly what they promised and provided a top notch granite product that was installed in under a couple of hours. I would highly recommend.

While the prices were great and originally we were happy with our countertops, we recently found a crack in the quartz around 6 months after install.When we called, they were quite supportive at first and said that developing a crack like this was odd, definitely shouldn’t be happening, and that they’d send someone to look at it. However, the day before they were scheduled to come, they notified us that the visit would cost $200 and that there wasn’t anything they could do other than try to patch the crack because the warranty only covered install errors (like a sink not being sealed correctly). Plus, they said the patch would likely still look bad.This was annoying enough: it seems crazy that the warranty wouldn’t cover the actual product that they sold me. It seems all the warranty really does is require them to come put some more caulk around your sink if they did it wrong.When I mentioned my frustration I was told that the most likely cause of the crack was that the countertops weren’t exactly level. I asked if that was not, then, an installation error on their part, as from what I know it seems like putting in shims, etc. to level the countertop is pretty standard installation procedure. However, we were told that in their contract customers are responsible for making sure their cabinets are perfectly level.But this is ridiculous! What kind of customer has the knowledge or tools to actually ensure something like that? Overall, the customer support people really were fine—they were polite and responsive. But the contract feels sketchy to me.

UPDATE: We’ve had the granite for about 3 weeks now and while we do like it, we were not expecting the constant gritty feeling on the surface. We are not using a harsh cleaner on it and often it is just wiped down with water. It returns the next day. We had granite tile previously and never had an issue like this. Perhaps this is normal but we are disappointed and hoping this is not a quality issue.We are very happy with our beautiful granite. Sami and the staff were great to work with and answered all of our questions. We even made multiple trips to the showroom to look over their selection. We found them to be efficient and did exactly what they said they would do. Their installers are top notch and were complimented by our general contractor. We found the pricing to be very competitive and would highly recommended them to others.

Overall was a headache. We were not forewarned that we would be without a counter top for a week waiting on the granite to come in. Their guys came to measure and said they were taking our counter tops with them and we had not been told this. We were not forewarned of the mess we would have on our hands either (Had never gotten counter tops before, and had no clue) so I didnt get to empty anything out beforehand. Everywhere was a mess. After the removal, there were pointed screws and straight edge blades left all over the kitchen, in our drawers, and in our bathroom. I called to express my dissatisfaction and that I was unhappy. I was told that they had told us about the counter top removal and that they werent going to argue with us and that we should have known of the mess because its a construction site. It was extremely poor customer service, that is not how you should communicate. (After having to ask for an apology, I got one.) Broke a bathroom pipe when removing the counter but claimed they didnt do this, even after one of them openly told us that they normally dont deal with sinks (they did end up fixing the pipe) They had to come back to fix a bad patch from sealing. Some parts of the counter are visibly cut crooked and cut uneven. And our sink was leaking out where the top of it meets the granite. (bad silicone job on several spots, I had someone else come fix them to avoid another call to here.)

Not only did they have a large variety of stone and granite, Thiago was able to book an appointment and the complete the full install in less than 9 days. The quality is amazing and they are always just a phone call or text away to support. I highly recommend them on countertops for quick install and for high quality.

Love the master bath twin sink granite countertop, the price, the fast delivery! The low rating is for the installer. What are the odds of one of the granite faucet plugs finding its way into the P trap. Feels like it was intentional and malicious. I have not called them yet, it was after hours when I found it.Next Day: My wife & friends assured me this could still be an accident. I was not here for the install and my wife said the installers were friendly, polite, hardworking, and efficient. So I revamped my rating. I would have given 5 stars if it wasnt for the plug incident.

I recently had the pebble beach quartz installed in my kitchen. It was so easy to make an appointment. Anastasia was so helpful in the showroom. They are so professional in template measurements and instillation. I can recommend these folks with confidence. I will be a repeat customer. I have bathrooms to do next!

They did an excellent job and true to there word on the install. The install was done very well and the installers are very nice. They didn’t like one of the back splash pieces and insisted on replacing it. We are more than happy with the folks at the Granite Depot And would highly recommend them.

The Granite countertop was a good price, but there several things concerning the installation process that were never shared during the buying price. The installers were four hours late, arriving at 6 pm. They cut the granite in my front yard making a huge mess. During the installation of the new sink which they forced me to buy, they unhooked all water hoses and garbage disposal but refused to hook them back up. They did not complete the installation until after 10 pm!! I was able to get a plumber out two days later but was charged $285 which Granite Depot should pay!!

Hello, I recently moved to beautiful Richmond Ky and the house I bought needed a new kitchen, so when I looked up some companies for counter top replacement I was very blessed to have found Granite Depot. I got a price quote from another place for exactly the same product for .40 cents more per sq fr, so there price cannot be beat, their customer service is top notch, I met the owner Tom and he was extremely pleasant to deal with, including his wife Anastasia which I only communicated trough messages and she was very professional and very good at her job, there was not one hiccup from start to finish, they even picked up my sink because my wife wasn’t able to bring it because we have a little baby that hates car seats. All their employees they have are very knowledgeable and very professional, Thiago the measure guy was an amazing guy and very pleasant to deal with, he measured everything perfectly and the counter tops came out perfectly measured. Installation happened today, two guys came out and it took them about 3 hours total, very nice guys very professional and very easy to work with, the job came out beautifully and this is coming from a guy who is extremely picky, I am a contractor my self and I am very picky and i know good Work when i see good work. They advertise 7 to 10 days installed. This is not true it took almost one month for us to be installed. After that month they did a horrible job and they had to redo part of the installation. The business owner is incredibly unprofessional. The workers are unprofessional. Was not able to come to any solution despite bringing them out and showing them the poor quality work.
