I would highly recommend Ky Granite and Marble! Amanda and the crew have been very informative, timely, and everything we could have wanted to help renovate our kitchen! Communication is very important to me and I felt they have done a wonderful job and we are very pleased with the finished product. 10/10 would do it again!
This is THE place to go for your new countertops! Excellent selection to choose from, and very knowledgeable staff. Listened to my needs and wants, and made good suggestions that made the project go well. Professional on all levels; great service. Thanks so much!
Kentucky Marble came out to measure in March. It is now May 12. Ive left several messages and no one returns my calls. I finally got a hold of them to ask whats going on with my install. So now theyll finally get my template scheduled, but that cant happen until May 28. After that they said it will likely be 4 weeks until they get materials, then they can schedule the install, which is typically 4-6 weeks away from the date they get the materials. So I tore apart my kitchen in March and committed to these countertops, and now Im looking at a July or August install. Completely ridiculous. I dont understand why they cant be more efficient with their scheduling. Im sure the owner will respond and try to pass the blame onto someone else, but their lack of communication and follow through is all on them, no one else.
Wow! This experience was more smooth than I ever though itd be! Amanda showed us around multiple times and had great advice and knowledge! I loved the patience she gave as we contemplated each rooms needs and then changed our minds again. She let us make our decision and then shared how much she agreed AFTER we chose. The guy who came to make the templates was meticulous. He shared how precise the machine would cut each measurement and to my surprise, he was right! The install went together like puzzle pieces. I wish you could see how seemless our kitchen counter looks! You can hardly tell they used two slabs! Im so proud to show off our counter tops! Thank you KY Marble & Granite for making my house remodel stress free! (Worth every penny!)
Update: communication problems between lowes, kentucky marble & granite, but owner resolved things and expediting the process.
I’m in the beginning stages of a remodel, and a neighbor recommended Kentucky Marble & Granite. I decided to drop by and see what the process would be if we chose granite. The ladies I spoke with were very kind and patient as I asked several questions. They took me back and showed me some actual slabs, explaining that I would be able view what was available when I was ready to purchase. I was so appreciative that they took the extra time, even after I explained I wasn’t purchasing anytime soon. I will definitely be back. Thank you.
Great people to talk to.
I would not recommend Kentucky Marble and Granite. This is long but explains why.Multiple issues.Selecting countertop was good - big selection and staff helpful. We came back a second time to look at another sheet of the same granite and specifically told them we were buying it so the large interesting vein would be at the end of the peninsula. This was written down. The man who came out to measure was rude, rushed and dismissive. I reminded him that the vein was to go at the end area. I tried to show him our kitchen plans but he said he “didn’t need them”. I told him we wanted a counter overhang so we could sit on one side of the peninsula and he entered that on his IPad. He was here for 15 mins. He did mention that the cabinets were not level and I told him we would have them fixed. He complained about our sink choice, house access. Very irritable. The installer came - very nice. I was so excited to see the counters especially the dramatic vein (overall the background was fairly bland so the vein added a lot of character. Counters were brought in - vein was at the wall end - exactly where our countertop counter was going.Called the shop - was told the granite cutters “get to make the last decision on how to lay it out”. No call, no heads up. Over $4000 countertop. Nonfunctional kitchen without them.So they installed them. The peninsula was not cut square so there’s an uneven overhang. Called office - the measurer “must have noticed the cabinets were off square”. Never mentioned it - only the level being off which we fixed.AND the barn overhang was only 6 inches. Our plans (which he “didn’t need” was for 12 inches.Called office - “this is what he entered and you agreed to”. Explained above - didn’t matter.Trying to fix the shallow knee room, we had the idea of buying part of the remaining piece at 10 inches wide and use decorative risers to elevate it off the counter and then tall legs to support the counter extension - this would give about 12 inches of knee room.Called and asked about piece. Was told that this would be a “new order” and they couldn’t price it associated with our initial purchase. No price break - in fact MORE per sq. ft. than for the original larger order because of this! $1295.Ask her to check with manager - no change.Asked to speak with owner - given number, left message, no call back.Be warned.

Amazing work! Very professional, friendly, helpful, I cant say enough good things about this company!! I will definitely be coming back for any granite needs!
Due to illness and problems with our contractor I had to cancel the beautiful Calacatta slab I had on hold with this company. I had put down $1912.00 as a deposit. In hopes of resolving my personal conflict, this has been on hold since January, 2018. I know this company is out to make a profit, however, when I called to see if there was anyway to recoup at least a partial deposit back I was rudely informed that I must forfeit the whole deposit due to this item was in storage too long. Never once in all this time was I contacted by them to check on the reason it has been in storage. I know they will turn around and sell this without a problem, thus, doubling their profits. I should have know better and gone to Stones and Granite in the first place. In good faith I know other companies would not treat customers like this. Just beware of who you are dealing with!
All the granite we have in our house came from Kentucky Marble and Granite. However, I was there a couple of weeks ago and spoke to Kathleen she couldnt tell me any prices are the names of any of the patterns I picked out. I was told that Amanda would call me and be in touch. I called Amanda and sent over my measurements per her request thats been over a week and half ago, and I have checked my spam mail and have received nothing back. Im really disappointed in the service they are offering now its completely unacceptable. In the past everyone that we have worked with was very professional sad to say thats not the case now with Kentucky Marble & Granite.
Do not go to this place! My countertop does not look good after insulation. They didn’t caulk around the edges and the seam is brown. My counter top is white and the seam is brown so it looks very dirty. My countertop stained a few days after I had it installed . They said a sealer was put on it but it must not have been a very protective sealer. I would find a more reputable company. Wish I had known.
Absolutely amazing company. Best place to get your countertops installed. Hands down.
I called on 3 different occasions trying to obtain a quote. I was told twice they would get it done and email me. A week later I heard nothing so I called to remind them again and I was told they would get it done and sent over the same day, but still nothing. Here we are 3 weeks out and no quote. I called and left a voicemail and still never heard back from anyone. Beyond frustrated!Andrea Stucker
Haylie was so helpful and patient with me. She emailed and called so that I got exactly what would look great in my new remodel. The young man that came and did the templet was very thorough and professional. And lastly Jamie and Matt who installed were so nice and professional. Had a great experience from beginning to end. Cant say enough good about this place. Thanks so much!!
They have a non driving delivery truck its a yellow truck cut me off on BG Parkway in ky!!!! Stay away from company. The driver sets abad repertation to the company.
Very pleased with this company and product.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. They installed granite countertops in my mothers house and said that they would haul away the old countertops. after 3 days of the old counter tops sitting in her kitchen and 4-5 calls later they finally came back to get the countertops and ended up breaking the storm door on her back door and were very rude when she called to follow up, blaming her for THEM breaking HER door. There is a reason they are inexpensive, you pay for what you get with them.
Granite looks so good.
Bad service
