My mom went into Sephora looking for a lip stick, she is so picky and multiple employees were determined to help her find the right shade! I’m only eleven so most of the time people overlook me but a great employee gave me a makeover, helped us shop, was so kind and also made a list of all the products she used on my face; so helpful and kind. Just love love love Doris!!!
Wonderful customer service at this location!
Really appreciative of this location letting me return an item I purchased the incorrect item of without a receipt!!! I was appropriately chastised for the mistake and honestly I can’t hold that against them as it was an oopsie on my part and a lesson learned but they have my eternal gratitude!
I’ve been shopping at Sephora for about 10 years and I’ve never had any problems until today. I went in to return a foundation that I had (stupidly) bought online without trying. Not only was the staff unwelcoming, but I was told that I’d only receive 5 dollars back. I had paid over 45 dollars for the foundation and I’d also planned on exchanging it for one that matched my skin tone. The staff never once offered to help me find anything or even greeted me. There were approximately 4-5 employees in the store at the time and only 2 other customers; when you consider the fact that the store is only a little bigger than a large walk-in closet, it seems pretty ridiculous that I couldn’t get anyone to help me. Overall, I’m very disappointed with the lack of customer service at this location. I actually have to go out of my way to shop at Sephora and I’ve been considering switching to Ulta due to the fact that they’re closer and offer a wider selection of products. I plan on going into a different location to return the foundation, but I’m no longer sure if I want to exchange it because of today’s experience.
Every time I go into Sephora, it’s always the same expierence. They do not help people if they don’t think they’ll spend a lot of money. I LOVE makeup, but I almost never go into a Sephora with a full face of makeup on. Whenever I do, I get fantastic service. The employees will always answer all my questions and be very kind. BUT most of the time, I wear no makeup going in the store. And the employees will not bat an eye at me. Today I went in looking to replace my kat von d foundation and get a couple lipsticks. I was completely planning on spending money. When I went to get my foundation, they didn’t have my shade in stock on the display. I tried getting one of the employees attention multiple times and she would just ignore me. So I just decided I was going to look in the drawer to see if they had it myself because I am not going to just wait around if no one is going to help me. As soon as I open the drawer, she comes over with the dirtiest look on her face. I ask her if she will please help me find my shade. She looks for like two seconds and very rudely tells me that they don’t have it, then just looks at me in a way that just made me feel like she wanted me to just leave. She was just all around very rude. This is not the first time I’ve had expierences like this. It seems like most times I go in there this is how I get treated. So I decided I wasn’t going to buy anything and walked over to ulta and bought my lipsticks there and had way better service and help from employees, and ended up paying less than I would’ve at Sephora. You would think with Sephora having competition like ulta down the road, they would be more nice to their customers. I do not plan on going back to the Sephora’s in store, if I absolutely need something that’s only at Sephora, I will order online.
One of the ladies were babying around me and my friends. soooo not buying anything else from here. NEVER COMING BACK!!!
