Usually a pretty good place to shop.However recently Ive noticed multiple expired products still on the shelves. I understand missing one or two things but the level I saw today was unacceptable. I mean keeping moldy food on the shelf is just gross. Tried to buy eggs, so many of them were past their sell by dates.Im getting really tired of checking to make sure what Im purchasing isnt already expired.
If there was a place to leave feedback on the employees I wouldn’t be leaving this review here. I was at this location less than 20 minutes ago doing the curbside pickup. There were 2 girls standing out waiting for people to come pickup their orders & the one that I dealt with is apparently incompetent & probably a previous employee at Walmart. I’ve always loved target, they seem to have a higher standard when it comes to who they employ. This woman (her name was Jakyra or something like that, I couldn’t get a good look at her name tag. Heavy girl with braids) Anyways, she dealt with the person beside me by walking across the front of her car & going to her passenger side window, which makes sense seeing as her mask was under her chin & not covering her mouth or nose at all. Then she walked across in front of me & came to my driver side with her mask STILL not covering her mouth or nose. When I checked in on the app, I have it setup for instructions saying to put on passenger side, but I assume she can’t read seeing as she came back to the driver side & asked if I wanted them behind me in the backseat. Well since you’re already standing there I guess so🙄 At least my order was right but I’d say 2 bags for 2 baby shirts is a bit overkill.
Great service in the store when doing my return and going throughout the store looking for an item in your bedding department. The team member who worked on D27 was really helpful as well as Dorian and Jacob at the service desk! Thank you guys.
Bad enough that this is the closest Target and they never have what I want in stock… But going in right now for a simple return and there’s a line with no one at the counter… come on Target you’re behaving like Walmart!
This is my definite location in my area to go to they are very expedient clean professional and in a great location. The staff is very personable and willing to help Ive also had the option at some point in time at this location to deal with management and I must say that management is definitely willing to help with whatever the situation may be this store is very clean theres not a lot of clutter they are definitely practicing social distancing and its mandatory that you wear your mask so with that being said kudos happy holidays 2020

I placed an drive up order. It says that it will be ready in 2 hours but I have been waiting and it’s still not ready. So I went to the store inside and ask them can I pick up the order? She said “no, it’s not ready yet! “ I don’t understand why it took so long to be ready?! There were only two small items in that order and they were right there in the store! So I cancelled the order and came inside find the two items. It took me only 5 minutes to find those two items. They were right there on the shelves and the ladies told me it’s not ready. How come it took so long to be ready? I was already in the store, why can’t you just take them to me?
The merchandise is always good quality. The availability of products and great selection are reasons why I like shopping at Target. The employees are very helpful and friendly as well.
Went to Target today for my weekly shopping and was greeted in checkout by a great cashier with a friendly attitude and was so progressional! HOWEVER, as I approached the food court to get my popcorn and drink I overheard the two young ladies talking about a previous customer experience and was verbally dragging the customer. WOW I thought to myself…..wonder what occurred there! But then again does it really matter?! No it doesn’t. This was unprofessional, unwarranted and the cashier needs to be coached and developed on what a true customer experience is and should be! Fast forward I ordered popcorn and a drink and was told, “We don’t have any today!” She neglected to offer anything else in addition no apology was made for the inconvenience! Shaking my head!!!!! Target I know many businesses are short staffed but as a business you’ve got to do better with consistent training and development for your staff.
I placed a drive up order for yesterday and arrived at the store to pick it up when I was notified. When I arrived, the employee then loaded my bags into my car, not realizing that everything was not there that I ordered. I was not aware of this until I got home, but I then immediately called up there to ask if they had the rest of my items, and they did. Due to the inconvenience and the mistake on their end, they provided me with a $10 giftcard, which they did not have to do nor did I ask them to do. They definitely go above and beyond to do their jobs. And as someone who loves Target, they have a for sure returning customer. Give these people some slack when it comes to orders being ready by 2 hours, this place is always busy.

I had no idea of how to use the app for curbside. When the employee walked out to give someone else their order I asked her if she could come over to help me. She was so professional and helpful! She was quick on her feet with getting orders out. If I could give more than 10 I would. I will definitely be ordering curbside more often.

My experience was horrible, I was walking through the isle and found item on sale for $49.99 which was the Roku Ultra I already knew that the regular price on most stores is $99.99 I had done my research I couldnt believe the sale so I took a picture. When I get to the register at guest services I showed the cashier the picture right after the item rings up for $99.99 he automatically tells me it should be no problem for the store to honor the price the longest they were in the wrong space he calls electronics and they confirmed then he proceeded to call the manager Ms. Lynn which came and said that she couldnt honor because she believes a customer push the items over one space, her assumption. Then she ask for the picture didnt say anything than she offers a 10 percent off apologizes a few times and swear that she had a spot for the item and I show her picture proof she did not had one with a price mark for $99.99 specifying the item and that when the cashier called to fix the item her team moved it again to the wrong space under an apple streaming for $149.99 I cancelled the transaction after I spent 40 minutes with customer service on the phone they told me that she was the biggest boss on that store and that she had the final answer it was up to her to make the decision nothing they could do for me.
Because I love target 👍😃 the workers are professional, if you need help there always there to help, I just love target.❤

Great visit! The cashier was nice and humorous. Quick checkout and prices here are pretty good! Very big Target so there is a lot of variety and for the kpop or music lovers, they have a great selection for vinyls and albums/cds. Everything very clean and was easy to find things with their labels and signs. I would definitely recommend this store to friends and family and I look forward to come here again. We came in for some music albums and walked out with food, some cleaning supplies and first aid care.
Long line at check out. When they opened a new register, the ones who were waiting were made to wait while the ones who just walked up,went to the front of the line.

Only time I’ve been to this location and won’t be returning. This was the only target around that wasn’t sold out of the item I was purchasing. I did the drive up option since I had only bought one thing. Everything was fine until the man who brought out my item had a nasty look on his face as if he was aggravated. The person in-front of me did not have their door unlocked when he was about to put their items in the car and he rolled his eyes when that happened. There were other cars waiting so I’m sure that person did not know he was coming to their car that exact moment. It’s not the safest area so I’m sure that’s why they had made sure to lock their doors. He was really not friendly and didn’t greet me the way a customer service employee should. They really need to work on customer service at this location.

The item I wanted from a different location was unavailable, but the app made it easy to find, order, and pick up the order at another location, taking only about 1.5 hours.
Place was messy and everything was out of stock a lot of empty shelf space they need to restock faster
Lady with red curly hair told me she would decline the sale next to me and my friend followed the two items per person limit with 2 separate transaction because we both collect. Literally was rude before she even knew it we were together. And then started talking to her co worker about her loudly and rudely while i was still checking out. Childish literally. Try being polite.

I picked up a pack of hotdogs buns today and was open, with only 6 buns left. So we threw up away and bought one in Walgreens instead. I called target and they told me to go there and they’ll change it for a new one but the store is 15min away from my home. Shout out to the costumer service that are very nice but people in pick up area should check item better before giving to people.
Very slow and long lines. The problem is partially target but how people voted during the last election.
I generally trust targets therefore I don’t check expiration dates at their stores. Well I was wrong this time to trust them because I was able to buy 6 month old nature valley bars from off the shelf. Check your expiration dates when going to this target because they don’t.

I went to Target on Military Hwy in Norfolk to purchase a heating pad. I had difficulty locating it and a young associate named Tyquez was very helpful and assisted me. He was very courteous.

Love how quickly they do drive up and friendly as well. I tried other Targets and they were alot slower getting my order together and took awhile to bring them out. So if your in this area this Target is the best in speed for drive up.
It would be 5 stars but the fact that I cant tip at Starbucks drives me crazy I have worked service industry my whole life and I cant believe that I cant tip someone that deserves it. Please fix this at least for Starbucks workers.

Its pointless to order and pick up if it takes me longer to wait for the single associate to process the 6 people in front of me than it would have take to just meander through the packed store and gather the items myself. Additionally, the pick up area was strewn with trash and the counters were visibly dirty. This particular Target (Military Highway in Norfolk) was terrible.
My last shopping experience at Target was absolutely awful! I ordered a TV online, which was backordered. That wasnt a problem, I understand its the holidays. I finally receive the TV and the screen is broken. Okay, incidents happen during shipping. So as Im packing up the broken tv, I notice a green salvage sticker on the box. Meaning the TV had been returned previously.(Im a previous GSA of Target, so Im familiar with the procedures) Upon returning the item, I couldnt do a simple exchange, I had to return the TV and purchase the new one. Very disappointed with Target.

Sat. Oct. 17, 2020, early afternoon.Went to Target in Norfolk.An item had a sale sign, on item I was looking for.Went to check out at self check out, reg. Price rang up on 2x same items.Waited over 10 min. for female attendant, to come over to this area, she was socializing with other cashiers outside self chk. out lanes, could hear, her, and see her.My light kept blinking.She adjusted one item said she was not doing 2nd.Went to device desk told male cashier, and he adjusted 2nd item.
I went to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription. There were 2 pharmacists, 1 lady in front of me waiting to pick up, 1 lady waiting at the check in counter and 2 ladies getting flu shots. One pharmacist gave the ladies their shots, while the other waited on the line. After getting the flu shots, those ladies got in line behind me. The lady in front of my was finally getting serviced, when the 2nd pharmacist assisted the lady waiting in the check in line. The lady said she needed a flu shot. The pharmacist says they are done giving shots for the day. The lady said she when do you stop giving them. Pharmacist says 4:30. Lady says Ive been here since before 4:30 waiting. Pharmacist says we are out of shots, come back tomorrow. Lady says you will order more flu shots at 4:45 and get it by the a.m. Pharmacist says ok, we arent out, but I am not giving any more shots today. Meanwhile, I am still in line and a gentlemen has joined the line. The lady in front of me is finished and leaves. MY TURN! Oh, but wait the pharmacist starts to service the end of the line first, so I just went from next to last. Transferred my prescription to Walgreens. They know how to follow the line and give shots until closing time.
This target was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful with my needs. I do find that they can be a bit pricey and the quality of the products do not always align, but the cartwheel and red card make it easier.

I love target! They always have what I need and more I can never walk out of target with just one item. For some reason I just enjoy their brand and quality in the store. I get excited when shopping in target! Lol
I enjoyed placing my order in the app and it keeping track of the status up through ready for pickup. And that I was literally in the parking lot for no more than 2min before I items were brought out.
It seems peaceful and happy every time I go. The staff does a great job keeping the store looking good. Even the toy sections are clean. (no toys all over the floor or in wrong places)
LOVE Target! Why would I shop anywhere else? I can always find what I am looking for. Staff has always been helpful and its my favorite place to shop on Brown Thursday/Black Friday.
The employees at another target sold me the wrong over-ear headphones, went it here to return them and try to get the ones I originally wanted. The lady at returns was nice and polite return done went to electronics and found the one I wanted on the display found an employee who was a young man, (this made me nervous after the last store) he was more than happy to help me. He opened the case and started digging for the one that I wanted and made sure to get the right ones and thay where! He checked me out back in the electronics section and I left satisfied.

Staff is usually scarce. They talk about personal matters very openly. I feel like this workplace is a little too casual. I like that they can be called to your location to help you, but staff should be ample around the store and not huddling around the door talking about the parties happening this weekend.
I have been searching for Yoplait Key Lime Pie Yogurt light for weeks. Finally I called Yoplait and was directed to the North Military Highway Target. I phoned in advance to be sure that the yogurt was there. The customer service was excellent. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant and extremely professional. Thank you so much for a wonderful shopping experience.
Staff have no knowledge of the section they work in.Called in and was directed to the electronics section where I asked about a USB 3.0 cable and was assured that they are sold here when they are not. If you do not know what a customer is asking, dont just say yes, and certainly dont just stare at me when i waste my gas to come in and search the ENTIRE electronics section without you asking if I need assistance.

This store has had issues with inventory since before pandemic and its even worse. Using Shipt and Instacart puts you at high risk for holding on to your money for days if their inventory isnt updated for online purchases! They had 3 of 14 items and I have to wait for $80 to be refunded for essential items needed for my family.
Average Target if you need something. HOWEVER, they never answer their phones. It always hangs up when you are trying to get to the operator. You could be across town to see if they had something you needed. . You would literally have to go yourself and look .. instead of asking a Team Member.When currently walking into this store, its a little dim. During the summer, Target turns down the lights to help with electricity. . and also turns down the ac. I understand the economic value of this, however it is a little hard to shop.During my college days, this would be my go to Target, however I do not go to this one anymore. Ill be back if . . I have to.
This isnt the biggest or best stocked Target on the area, but its close and convenient for Norfolk. Its well-managed, there are always enough cash registers open. The workers are personable and ready to help if needed. The store is clean and pleasant to navigate.

Pretty decent target. Theres a backroom manager, I believe his name is Curtis. He went above and beyond to assist my family and I. You can tell he was in a rush before we stopped him but he still took his time to help us out. A true quality individual
Good location of store, cleanliness (its much better than its been in my store), friendliness of sales associates, low pricing. I found all my beauty and health needs, treats for the kitty, a few presents for the coming holidays.

Its always clean, the employees are always helpful. Just noticing Target is having less and less cashiers open. Was there last night at 6pm only 2 open lanes, all else was self check-out. Not just this location... I wonder why Target is taking out the personal experience and replacing it with annoying machines.

I love this store BUT, they let their lines get 10 deep and you still have to ask them to call for back up. I refuse to use their self checkout. Come on guys. Step it up. (And the sales associate on the floor acted offended when I asked if they even still do “back up” for the registers. Don’t become a Walmart

Mask wearing is mandatory now but there were a lot of people in the store without the m. There was no one stopping them at the door And there were a lot of Associates with their masks down to their chins. Not how they are supposed to be.
Malika is exceptional! She took the time to locate where the product was and contacted that target and requested the item be placed on hold. She didnt just say we dont have it...she cared...customer focused!
I usually love target and the staff are usually friendly but this place is terrible. The older guy working the self checkout lane was probably one of the rudest employees I’ve encountered in awhile. Hope he was just having a bad day
This is by far my favorite Target in the area. People probably visit the Beach location more but this one is always fully stocked and clean. They have a pretty good vegetarian/vegan selection in grocery. The sales racks are always fully stocked.

There is a large variety of the items you need everyday at reasonable prices. The staff is helpful and they keep it organized. And its not overwhelming noisy.
