Dont waste your time here. My simple mill job turned into a month-long battle of false promises. My box of parts sat in the same spot for over a month. My patience grew thin after each phone call, telling me it would be completed tomorrow. Its more of a junkyard than machine shop, please spend your hard-earning money elsewhere.

Great local machine shop. Had them do some work for me last year and the price and quality was outstanding. When I went in today for a quote for the same job.... he price has almost tripled since last year for the same job.... I guess its the price we have to pay for todays times. If you need machine work done atleast get a quote from these guys. Good people. Try to support local small buisiness.

I stopped over on a Friday afternoon of a 3-day weekend and he stopped what he was doing to take a look at my smallest of small projects. He gave good suggestions as to what needed done and that he would do it. And it was completed excellently within a couple of days. I am very happy with L&W.

Fantastic Service. Marvin that works there was truly beyond helpful on a small project he did for me. If you ever need a step down from a m7 to an m6. Get Marvin to put in a helicoil.... Brilliant. Thanks L&W, Thanks Marvin.

Very happy. Took an antique throw out bearing collar to them, they got it done on time and for a fair price. I will use them again!

They have bailed my out so many times on various old, and I mean old car work. From a 1908 Maxwell rear end build, to chasing hub threads on a set of wheels for a 1903 Cadillac, and a slew of other stuff too. I trust them to repair what cannot be replaced.

Do not get your parts machined here! Cannot finish on time! Very late and on top of that the end product was incorrect! Showed zero respect and responsibility for the mistakes and NO APOLOGY whatsoever for how late they were or how rude the machinist was after asking him when the product will be ready! I have NEVER EVER dealt with a business this unprofessional!

Zero stars! Rude after the machined part was late almost a month in a half! Were nice at first but, the switch turned instantly after repeated inquiries were made about the day and time to pick up the finished product. Unprofessional and disrespectful to timelines and simple questions. The owner and his son showed lack of integrity dodging calls/texts. Im sure some people that work there are fine but what the character flaws the owner and son displayed showed the nature of the type of business they run. Do not understand how the business is still running!

Needed to have a hole tapped and helicoil put in for my oil filter housing plate on my Cummins engine ASAP for my turbo feed line. Marvin took care of it in less than 2 hours and kept me on schedule to get my truck back on the road.Great shop, great people, terrific prices! My highest recommendation for anyone who needs machine work done!!!

Friendly and Funny, After Orallys sold me the wrong bearing, Norfolk Bearing got me the correct, precise Bearing and recommended L&W inc. Machine Shop . They not only press the old one out, they press the new bearing in free of charge with a Hand Shake and a Smile, Im in Western Branch, the trip to Norfolk will never be to far .THANKS GUYS, and Loretta.

This shop is pathetic. Not sure how they are still in business. The most frustrating experience I’ve ever had with a business. Unprofessional, late on delivery, incorrect machine work when given the cad files, hangs up on you! I don’t care if they had a shop dragon, let alone a shop cat, I would never recommend this sad excuse of a machine shop to anyone.

They need to take a class on how to be professional when they dont reach their deadlines. If you want something machined here Please dont waste your time! The stress they put you through makes you wish you could take them to court for their rudeness and lack of professionalism.Dont even bother giving them your business.

Rude. Not able to complete a job on a deadline they set. After the 3rd extension I asked what the problem was? The reply was I can pick them up if I want. Unprofessional. I will take my work else where.
