The representatives of Carpet World exceeded my expectations. The recommendation of style and color for my kitchen not only saved me money, the choice was a perfect blend with existing cabinets. The installers did a professional job and completed the task quickly because they obviously know what they are doing. The kitchen floor looks amazing. I recommend Carpet World to anyone and everyone considering floors.

I had 2 rooms of carpet and 1 room of vinyl plank installed recently by Carpet World. I anticipated that this would take most of the day, so became a little concerned when they arrived about an hour late. However, when they did arrive, the men were focused, professional and clearly experienced. It took them about 3-3.5 hours to move out the furniture, remove the old carpet and padding and install the new carpet and padding in 2 rooms and the vinyl plank in 3rd room. They cleaned up, vacuumed and replaced the furniture. They then asked me to inspect the work before they left.I was very satisfied with the quality of the carpet and installation! I will definitely be using them in the future. Actually, already getting a quote for a rental property. I would encourage anyone who needs great quality and affordable carpet installed to at least consider using Carpet World.Thank you, Dean, for a great experience!

They had a whole house to do with carpet and vinyl 2100 square feete and stayed they from early morning until they finished. Excellent work. The workers were awesome with talent.

These guys were great to deal with. All the way from sales down to the installation folks. Sales was very easy going and made sure we were given all the information we needed to make a good flooring decision. We were given time lines for when our order would be at the store and it arrived as promised. Installation was smooth and professional. The guys got to our house early and were very purposeful in how the went about removing the old carpet. The installation of the new pad and carpet was done quickly and precisely. They even reinstalled the transitions the way it should have been by correcting a poor installation the previous installer had done. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

We had a great experience with Karl Willke and Carpet World. We had the task of hiring contractors while out of state to come and replace the carpet in a home that we were are selling in Norfolk. Karl was more than accommodating and kindly visited the property and provided us an estimate the same day that we called him. The gentleman who came and installed the carpet was excellent, efficient, and cleaned up after himself when the work was complete. They payment process was simple and completed online. We used CW for our new home. Karl was our point person, he was prompt on the initial meeting, so helpful and informative on everything. I can’t recommend them enough. They extended a sale price past its expiration because we didn’t close on the house in time, once we did it took maybe a week to get our carpets in and one day to get them in. We did the entire second floor!!! 4 bedrooms, hallways etc. highly recommend!!!

I have had a few floor job completed at my home through Carpet World over the last year. Each time the work is done with professionalism. Dean is great with following up and letting us known when flooring is in and when it will be installed. He made sure that the installers would be there in the evening since I get off of work so late. The installers put the flooring down quickly and were so friendly. Worth every penny!

Crew was helpful, professional, and personable. Had a late start due to rain, but still finished the job that could have understandably led into a 2nd day.

Everyone I spoke with regarding getting carpet was super helpful! The two installers came and were in and out in an hour, they were very polite and even vacuumed and swept up the mess. I would recommend and use them again if I ever need to!

At this point if I could give less than one star I would. We had carpet installed a month ago and I bought the carpet they had in stock because I wanted my floors done quickly. They installed the carpet when I was out of town. When I came back and saw the carpet in my master bedroom I though the seam really stood out. Upon closer inspection it looked like two different types of carpet. Carpet Worlds installer came out and checked the carpet and agreed that they carpet did not match. He said it would take a week for them to get with the manufacturer and have them give me new carpet. It is now 4 weeks later. I have been to the store and called several times. The manager is always out and no one has contacted me to fix this. So much for getting it done quickly. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. If only, they would have fixed the problem in a timely manner or called me and given me a timeline or seemed the least bit concerned about their mistake. This is a terrible way to do business. I am hoping that leaving reviews on every site I can find might motivate them to fix my carpet.

These guys are the best! They replaced all of the flooring in our house. They were fast, professional, and our floors look great!

Sales reps are very nice and helpful, but the lady in finance/billing is horrible. Shes rude and condescending. Also it should be noted that Carpet World, Floor Trader, and ProSource are all owned by the same people, so if you go to get bids, if you use these 3 you are dealing with the same company.

Ask for Zinthia!!! I needed my office replaced and her pricing was HALF the price of a local competitor. Her level of professionalism is unmatched. She is always available and willing to sit down and explain the features and benefits to each flooring selection. She has now become the sole carpet representative for my property. Do NOT use this company. They will rip you off. I was quoted one price based on the square footage I gave them. Then they added 1k because their measurements were different. Then after I already paid and the workers removed my old hardwood they added 2,200 for adding extra subfloor that I was told I “needed” and then the next day I get a call that “ I’m sorry but I quoted you the wrong price for your hardwood so you need to come back in an pay the difference” after they made me pay for the complete labor and materials in order to start the job. They are refusing to complete the job that I have already paid for and are only refunding me for the materials. Even though the workers didn’t complete the demo, and damaged my existing hardwood. They are keeping their cut of the labor which is unethical given they screwed up.

They did okay on my carpet but when they did my tile floors it was an absolute disaster. Too much & too thin glue and too little grout ... result, glue was immediately leaking through the grout & it went on for weeks. Floor was completely ruined! Too many other issues to go into but suffice to say that when that floor was pulled up a month & a half later (by a different, competent company), the glue was as wet as the day it was applied. Their best installer was completely incompetent! They eventually did refund all my money but I had to persist in spite of being stalled, ignored & out-right lied to about who was in charge of making decisions. Bad, bad experience!

Great overall experience. Set the whole install up over the phone. Sales Rep (Zinthia) was extremely helpful and got my quote to me quickly. Installer (Mike) was on time and the job looks great.

I would never go with carpet world again, they layed a expensive carpet for me about 5 years ago, it got terrible wrinkles in it because they didnt stretch it right, Ive called them several times, the guy came out, took pictures, but I cant get them to return any of my calls, tells me their customer service is bad...

We worked with Zinthia. My rating for Zinthia would be 5 stars and shes the only thing that kept this from being a much lower rating. The process of selection, scheduling etc with Zinthia was top notch. When we had issues, she made them go away :) my issues were with the company who did the installation. It was messy and lacking in detail. We ended up having to install some transition pieces ourselves since they were overlooked every visit. The last gentleman who came out to finish the detail work was awesome! I wish I had his name to give him credit in this review. His craftsmanship was excellent and we loved having him in our home

Went to military hwy store to look 4 carpet around 11:15am a young blk lady and older guy with glasses were there 4 the 15 minutes that I was there neither offered to assist .I stood in front of the guy as I was leaving and he turned and walked away.later that day I purchased carpet at a rival .

Friendly staff in the store. Carpet installers showed up an hour and a half too early and where hispanic thay could not speak English clearly and took longer than the time quoted.
