The dollar tree is great for household items, cards, school supplies...sometimes lines are long and poor mask wearing by patrons. Beggars out front

Visited on Wednesday and the store itself wasnt terrible, except for the fact that the customer service was abysmal. The woman working the register acted like she genuinely didnt want any customers in the building. She was incredibly cold, despite my trying to engage her in a very friendly manner. At the end, I smiled and said to Have a good day! She just responded Uh huh without looking at me and immediately turned away. Everything else was fine, organized, and well stocked. But this employee needs to be reprimanded for horrid customer service. Im taking away three stars on that basis and advise prospective customers to visit a different Dollar Tree in the area.

This is a well stocked short handed store but the worker that are there are doing fantastic.

Between the trash in the parking lot, and the multi colored hair cashier named Sharon,ho is always trying to control everything around her and everyone,its a little like going to a third word country thanks!you saved me a trip to Tijuana

It had everything and more that I wanted inside the store I didnt know where to start the store is so clean I love it

Cashier with blue wig was super unprofessional and rude. I was trying to give her money and she kept blatantly moving her hand to the point where I ended up dropping the money. Apparently others have had complaints with this rude woman with terrible wigs as well. I need corporate to handle this ASAP or I will take my business elsewhere

Cashier needs customer service training

The cashier with the blue wig is extremely rude and nasty. Where is the customer service?!?

Just left The Dollar Tree on 21st street Norfolk Va. Got there around 11:30am and grabbed 3 items quickly as I was on my 30 min lunch break from the hospital up the street from them. One cashier had a man in line who had to run to his car before completing his check out. Another cashier had been talking in her line with a woman and was not working so I asked was she open. She said yes with major attitude but I still ran over. She preceeded to ignore me and continue talk. I said excuse me but I am on my lunch break. The cashier acted as if I were not there and continued to talk. She mentioned God in her conversation and talked about being blessed. I told her my God would not have her at work ignoring a healthcare worker trying to get back to work while she ignored a customer on her job. Of course I am telling EVERYONE here at work about my experience. The AUDACITY to mention God!!!

It was an ok visit . They dont have alot of stuff anymore so u cant really find what u want. Only one cashier at this time and the line was to the back of the store. Stock is usually put away but its in most if the iles u go in. Not my usual one stop.

I had a horrible experience I believe it was with the manager please contact me . The cashier an older lady was sweet a problem solver at that moment when my experience went left I still have my receipt

This store is unprofessional and disgusting. It was supposed to open at 8 but at 820 Im still standing outside waiting for it to open. Theres also an over flow of trash outside the front door.

Store has a wide variety of articles for sale. From foodstuffs to Kitchen needs to cleaning supplies to school supplies. This store has it all. Very clean and well laid out. Staff is not overly friendly but competent. Well-stocked store.

Cashier lady with the red hair is SO unbelievably rude. I have been to this location multiple times and she has been disrespectful every single time. I cannot believe this woman is still employed.. I see multiple reviews on this same person and somehow she still works there. I will NOT shop for this store again.

Always find what I need

Not exactly the neatest Dollar Tree Ive been to. The layout isnt too inviting. The isles are kind of compact and there were a few items Im used to seeing at Dollar Tree that were missing from this location. Customer Service was sub-par but no one was actually rude, to be honest. All this aside I can truly say we survived and even got a few things of choice; not a total loss!

Busy at noon. But its a dollar!

Staff is always pleasant when I go there. They have this hot n honey puffed corn from a company called wise that I totally love and restock at home once almost every week. They have good deals on frozen food too.

Clerk had a little attitude

Cheryl the cashier was Absolutely rude. She has no customer service experience, instead has a ton of attitude. Don’t expect to be greeted or thank you nothing just the nasty facial expression. I’ll make the extra drive to another Dollar tree thanks.

I found what I wanted and got out quickly in spite of fairly long checkout lines.

The store itself isnt bad. I havent had any complaints so far. Its just difficult to get in and out of the parking lot. Its on a busy street and parking spaces are limited. If you need to make a left on 21st, I recommend going behind the store and heading right until you can make another right at a light. Thats the easiest way to get out for me.

Its a Dollar tree so you dont expect much period but what they have they have

This was one of the more organized Dollar Trees that I have seen the only problem that I saw at this one was there was two cashiers working and the young man that was ringing had to take care of the line by himself I think the older woman that was working with him have went on break but he was doing very well but they need to be more conscious of when and when not to take breaks in how to get the crowd moving this is a factor in good customer service.

Kind of odd to have this in the middle of Ghent, it can be over run at times but they usually have everything that I need. Great selection of items for $1.

Lady was very disrespectful to my grandson!! It was so horrible poor customer service,, bad busines attitude just unbelievable if I could it would be a 0 stars & the lady with the colorful hair is disrespectful at any means necessary I would have her fired

Shittiest Dollar tree in Hampton Roads. The employees are generally nice but the manager is a complete ass. Very limited selection. I only shop here because its close to my house (Ghent). This is the only Dollar Tree near Ghent, & downtown and it sucks. Shame on you Dollar Tree execs for having such lousy store in such a nice and upscale neighborhood. We deserve much better.

In general, Dollar Tree might be the greatest store ever created. Almost everything you need. Kept pretty tidy, and not too long lines.

I had one item and the cashier told me that the lady who was still shopping was in front of me, because her cart was there and I was gonna have to wait for her to be rung up. I dont think so!! Worst service there, Ill never go back

I like this part of town. The store was average but I enjoyed being able to walk to other niche places afterwards.

This store is ALWAYS understaffed —- especially at Lunch and Dinnertime when the locals come in toSHOPLIFT! I shop here all the time and the employees are amazingly helpful and pleasant considering the insanity that comes in there! At holiday and back to school time they really need an armed guard! Last year I had a brand new coat stolen off the cart while I was shopping so you really need a companion if you have to open a freezer door or read a label! At Xmas the parents were stuffing their pockets while showing the kids how to do the same ! I told the guy that’s always there but he seemed afraid to approach! Another day a customer dropped her purse and 2 guns fell out—- she was hoping no one saw them !!!! You really should show more concern for the safety of your customers and employees! I realize its a bargain store but you’re losing LOTS to theft! Doesn’t that concern you ?? Very dangerous place and I go there at least once a week!!!

There is one older lady who has worked at this location for years, she always has a nasty attitude and thinks its ok to speak down on people! Just in all a very nasty and disrespectful person its time to let your job go and go sit in your house if you will never change that attitude!! I will drive to another location as long as she works at this location!

Ive noticed that this is the store where you send all of your washed up rude unintelligent employees that should be let go .👹
