Very eclectic, cool, and cozy atmosphere with lots of outlets for laptops. Coffee was amazing! I highly recommend the iced oat milk latte. Order it “for here” to get it in a cool mug that’s more eco friendly.

I really liked it here. The coffee was great, hot and tastes good. They had this AMAZINGly delicious coconut pecan brownie, highly recommend. The seating in here is really cool, lots of options, big floor plan, 2 patios front and back.Second time going back, not so awesome, 😩

The service is always excellent, everything is local, including artists work for sale on the walls. It truly feels like they care about their community, and they offer options for a variety of dietary restrictions. Its a neat place and if I was a writer, Id make this my place.

Good coffee but expensive, the baristas were friendly actually felt like I walked into a time warp of 1970, atmosphere nice, clean. Good place to meet up someone, which I did. Know its bad to smoke but wish they had an ashtray at outdoor seating area & some 😎 shade.

They have a yummy lavender latte and so many great places to study. I liked the fun eclectic decor as well. Would go back again!

I love coffee shops.... Interior is very relaxing and comfortable. We were rushed to order when we came in. The guy taking our order has zero personality. Drip coffee was Peruvian and I wasnt impressed. Coffee was $2 for 8oz and refills $1. I would have enjoyed Loves Travel Stop coffee much more.

Had the opportunity to meet a former student over coffee at Gray Owl. They serve an excellent selection of coffees and teas, both cold and hot, and offer several food selections. But the best thing was, it wasnt really busy, it wasnt really noisy, and we just had a chance to sit there and chat for a couple of hours.

Before Starbucks stormed the world, local coffee houses were the only place to find Seattle Style Specialty Coffee Houses. To be authentic, the Baristas have to be unique characters and the place has to be filled with every type of coffee lover imaginable. Gray Owl Coffee is just that type of place.

Got an iced latte that was pretty satisfying, and someone else with me got a mocha cookie that was super soft and really delicious! The shop was very cute and seemed like a nice place to enjoy your coffee and hang out.

It has a but of an herby aftertaste, but its yummy. I always get the vanilla soy latte. I tried the Chai latte, but it was too spicy for me. excellent

This place is so modern and hipster and fun. The coffee was made really fast and tasted super fresh and delicious. They also do all kinds of things here for the community. They have a book shelf. They have movie nights here. Its just a great place to enjoy coffee and be yourself.

As a normanite by birth I favor Gray Owl as the best coffee shop in the city.The coffee is spectacular, the baked goods are DELICIOUS, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is the best in town.Gray Owl has been there for me on the best and worst days of my educational journey. When I am stressing for the big exam and I need some caffeine, and when the semester is finished and i wanna celebrate by hanging with some friends with a pot of tea. Its a great atmosphere for both focused studying sessions and chill hang times.Also the employees are really great people! Ive had a few friends work here and they speak highly of the management and establishment.

I was passing through OKC and ran upon this gem! I spent all day at the counter working on my dissertation. The coffee, tea, and food were all impeccable. The also played the entire Tame Impala album, Currents. I never wanted to leave. This place was very chill and LGBT friendly. They bake all of the food right in front of you and had several gluten free items also. I wish we had a place like this back home. 👍

The vanilla latte I got this morning was one of the best I’ve ever had. They have exceptional service during the pandemic as well. You call their number, order, pay over the phone or with cash, and they will bring it to your car!

Its my to go place for a good cup of coffee, light breakfast, or afternoon tea. Sometimes they have interesting bake goods. Love their quiche as well. On top of the quality of food and coffee they provide, they also offer BYOB Discount for zero waste crowd! I wish one day they can remodel the shop to a more updated yet still cozy place!

The coffee is delicious and it’s a peaceful environment. Their vanilla and lavender syrup are house made and they have non dairy options like oat and almond milk. I have tons of food allergies (dairy and potassium sorbate) so I was so excited to find a yummy coffee spot I can actually enjoy the coffee at! I wish I could give ten stars.It wasnt too long ago I decided to expand past corporate chains. As I get more in tune with my values, I am more cautious of what businesses I support and thrive to put my money into entrepreneurial arenas. I have tried a few shops out in Norman but Grey Owl is by far the best.The dim lighting is perfect for studying. Many bright places are terrible when youre staring at a computer screen for hours as it is. Grey Owl has individual lamps at each table and plenty of room. The environment is quiet enough to focus but still has high enough energy to not get too groggy or mundane.The staff and environment are both truly inclusive and kind to all. It is just such a wonderful place to study and converse. The cross-talk I accidentally hear there is also generally thought provoking and interesting that I sometimes find it hard not to bud in and sometimes do! :) If youre sick of drama and negativity, or youre just a positive person who loves coffee, books, and good music, Grey Owl is for you. I will never stop frequenting this place!

I really liked this place. It was inviting and the coffee was yummy. They have a ton of options and the guy was really helpful when I asked about the ingredients for the scones. Im allergic to oranges and he was very understanding and helpful. They also have alternative milk options for those who dont do dairy, etc. My sisters favorite coffee place, and I gotta say its pretty great

I love Gray Owl Coffee. Their products are affordable and delicious! A pot of hot tea for four bucks! and hot water refills are free. Thats a deal! Ive also tried their quiches and everything bagel with their sun-dried tomato cream cheese.... YUMM. I love that they make all of their bakery goods in house. Great place to relax or study.

This shop is nicely nestled in a quiet side street. The atmosphere is hip and industrial but made cozy by lots of sofas and eclectic furniture. There are many different options for places to sit. The space is aasafe space and welcoming to all.The menu is easy to figure out and they offer many cold drinks and sweets. For sure try some iced tea!

The best in Norman. Atmosphere is ridiculously cool. Internet is sufficient. The people who work there are laid back most of the time. The only downsides are how some people tend to take up an entire table to themselves and of course the price for a simple cup of coffee. If you want to feel like a regular and just unravel in this town, just go here.

I walked in not expecting much but WOW! The drinks were a little pricey but very good. The best part was the food - made right there! I watched as they boiled the bagels in the pot before baking - not brought in from somewhere else. I had a scone (best one I have ever had) and my friend had the herb parmesan quiche. We were both very happy with our visit!

My favorite coffee shop in the whole Oklahoma City/Norman area. The atmosphere is lovely, and one of my favorite things to do there is watch the staff prepare the baked goods for the next day. Its mesmerizing. On top of that, they have a rice milk latte to die for. So much better than the non-dairy alternatives of most mainstream coffee shops! Also, its a perfect place to hang out with friends or spend a leisurely morning. And oh yeah! Try the everything bagel! Its incredible. :)

This cafe is a hipsters wet dream. If you love movies like Scott Pilgrim or Nick and Norahs Epic Playlist or Juno, youll love this cafe. The interior is dark but cozy. Love the music selection and the coffee is top notch. So rich, in fact, that I didnt necessarily care for it, but I can imagine avid coffee drinkers adore that. Loved!

Excellent coffee at a fair price. Moderate selection of excellent quality loose leaf tea. Food selection is limited but fresh and tasty. Calm atmosphere and music that isnt too loud for studying. Plenty of seating in the summertime, your milage may vary during the school session.

This is my favorite coffee shop of all time. I love watching the baker ladies make different items from the bar. They have amazing bagels and rice milk which I super enjoy. I live a couple hours away, and anytime I’m in the area, even if my destination is 30-40 min away, I stop buy for a coffee. Love Gray Owl.

Im not good at ordering coffee that I want but they are as helpful as they can be to get you what you want. They have boardgames and books in the back corner and a couch on which to play them/ read or you can study at one of their big tables. Their food selection is limited but good. Great study spot and meeting spot.

Gray Owl Coffee produces quality coffee drinks in a comfortable atmosphere. The workers exhibit a chill friendliness that is unmatched at other coffee shops. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here and would definitely suggest other coffee lovers check it out.

Delicious coffee! A bit overpriced for the sizing and add ins though.

$3.50 for probably one of the worst pour overs I’ve ever had. Super watered down and could barely taste anything that would make it worth getting. Could kind of make out the acidity and can tell the beans are more than likely good, but I wish it wasn’t so watered down so I could actually tell.

Its a nice place. The only negative is that even when you pay for parking there are still so few spots we still had to walk a long distance. In the rain or cold this can be an issue. The coffee is great and the staff was amazing.

Superb quality coffee!! Seating isnt always available, but I usually only pop in long enough to order coffee. Prices are fair. I will admit I like going to the new place in Norman called, The Screen Door, because seating is more available. But Gray Owl is still a contender due to their good tasting coffee, even if they lack the variety of syrups to make, lets say an Almond Joy mocha.

This place has a very trendy atmosphere, they hang bikes from the ceilings, they keep boardgames on hand, and they make a mean Americana. What more could you want? Also, they keep event postings. Personally as a black coffee fan I recommend the Americana and the cold brew, but they have plenty of options, no flat white, though Im sure you could ask. They also serve baked goods: scones, muffins. I dont recommend Honey Cake (or Honey Bread, I cant actually remember what its called) its like banana bread without any of the things that make banana bread good.Really Gray Owl is a Gray-t place to go.

A large selection of loose leaf tea and vegan muffins as well as other baked goodies tempt you at the register. They offer a whole kettle for you to share or pour yourself a cup, which is what I like. Theres a large circlular couch in the back for groups of friends to get together and loads of individual tables to chill, read, write, or study at. My only complaint is that the place is too dang dark. Its hard to see and the tables, with thier own private lamps, throw off the balance of light/dark too much IMO. Despite this, it wont stop me from returning for a kettle of tea.

This amazing, cozy, quirky space is great for working alone, hanging out with friends, playing some games with the kids, or just watching the world go by. An inclusive and loving space with great coffee, friendly staff, plenty of space, a variety of books and games ... Everything a coffee shop should be. What a gem. ☺️

Its pretty pricey ($4.50 for a small caramel latte), and sometimes I feel a bit out of place due to the clientele, but overall it is still my favorite place to get a latte in Norman. It is literally the best caramel latte Ive ever had, and its always consistent. Its delicious. Their from-scratch food is nice too. I have 2 other complaints though. Sometimes the music is on and it is really loud which makes it difficult to hold conversations. Also, when it is very busy you sometimes have to sit at a table with strangers. And sometimes there just flat-out any seating at all. But still... The quality of the coffee makes it all worth it for me.

My favorite place to study! The drinks and pastries are always great. The employees are always nice and helpful. My only complaint is parking. Parking can sometimes be difficult to locate in front of Gray Owl but you can always parking in the lot across the street!
