After having a terrible experience at another local salon, I decided to give Diamond by Monique a try, and I am sooo glad that I did. I don’t even know where to begin to explain how great Diamond by Monique is! Monique is an amazing stylist, she is careful and thorough and does an absolutely wonderful job - I am obsessed with my hair and 100% happy with how it turned out. Just as importantly, she is a kind and friendly person and was welcoming from the moment that I walked in the door. And the salon is so cute! It is very clean, well decorated and has such a positive energy to it. Monique truly takes pride of ownership in her business and it definitely shows. I booked my next appointment right when I got home and Monique has a patron in me for good!!

Monique is awesome! She brought life back to one of my hair units. She also convinced to me to do a trim prior to my silk wrap . My hair has grown and is healthier. When I was 15 minutes late she didn’t make me reschedule she was able to quickly move through the process and get my hair done and she took my hair unit home and fixed it and had it ready for pick up the same day although I was late. She is knowledgeable about the area she was helped me find a nail salon that does lash extensions. The stylists and make up artist at the salon have wonderful customer service, make up and hair styling skills. Great experience!

Ive been going to Monique since November 2020. She first did a sew in weave style for my wedding. She did a beautiful job. Ever since Ive been making monthly color, style, and hair maintenance appointments. My hair is healthy and growing. I also want to note, that she is always on time, and shes able to complete a style in a timely manner. If you are looking for a stylist that is professional, knowledgable, and has a warm energy, go to Monique.

From someone with natural curly hair, ive gotten my hair straightened here twice with the silk press and never got any damage, it was back to back too. It lasts for a while, and she works well with my hair. Theres not many hairstylists in norristown that can work with long curly hair without damaging it but shes absolutely great with it, she takes great care and coming from the most tender headed person, ive never experienced over the top pain, only a little here and there but thats because im just that tender headed lol... she works better with my hair than my momma, God forbid she finds this

Ive visited twice now and been styled by Erica who is very kind and friendly. The shop is quiet and NOT like the typical African American salon with all the gossip over your head and constant stopping to talk. Appointments run on time and Erica has you in and out with your hair styled very well.

I loved it. She was amazing to me. I will be returning and bringing my kids. It was hot so I lost my curls but I love the height lights. She talked to me about what’s good for not jut my hair my kids as well. Very nice place. I will tell everyone to give a try! Please... I don’t think you will be disappointed, she’s a mother so it’s not rushed it’s I wanna give u and treat you like family and make sure you love your hair walking out!

Great place nice neighborhood, the hair stylist Monique is fantastic and a stand of female..Dont know her work but her personality is awesome and she a very honest stand up person. My wife wanted her hair colored and cut,Monique didnt style short hair, but she colors hair,but since she didnt style short hair she gave us a referral to another hair salon that does both color and style thats was really thorough of her.

My mom and I have been getting our hair done by Lisa for about a year now. Weve been completely satisfied after every visit. Lisa takes her time to make sure she meets the needs of her clients. She also makes sure that our hair continues to stay healthy and beautiful! There are many times I come in with various pictures of styles and she is able to deliver them just how I want it. Stop by, you will not be disappointed!

Great hair salon! Erica was my stylist and I went for a pretty extreme cut. She was very patient with helping me figure out the best style for my face shape. Not only did she give me a great cut but she also took the time to explain everything that she was doing and suggest products so that I can maintain my style between appointments. My appointment was at 10am, Erica got started right away and I was out by 11am. I would definitely recommend this salon.

Had an appointment with Monique at 10.:30 for a two hour appointment for a sew in weave got there at 10:36 shop was closed called her told me I was late and to reschedule . She was unprofessional and lied that she was there but left. When I called her it seemed she was somewhere else doing hair. So please be aware.

My heart always gets the best care! I love how easy it is to book an appointment online. When I arrive, I am greeted by name and my appointment starts promptly. I can always count on getting my hair done in a timely manner at a great price and knowing Erica and her staff are honest and knowledge about hair care.

I am always seen at my appointment time with minimal to no wait, and my hair is styled to perfection. I Was referred and assumed she was experienced in dreads and when I got home I realized my dreads were Twisted the oppositedirection. Anyone who knows about dreds knows which way the hair has been trained to go. Also the crocheted on top didnt hold either. I called and voice my issue to that stylist and she didnt seem two apologetic or concerned.Also my granddaughter got her hair braided there and it was so tight that they had to be taken out that night, and when we walked into the shop it was noted by the Stylist that the braids were taken out and I told them why and still no kind of concern or retribution or nothing. I wont use them again.

I have been going here to get sew-ins for two years now by Lisa. She is very professional, accommodating, friendly & a fantastic hair stylist. I would recommend her to anyone! She does lovely work & very reasonable pricing.

I absolutely love Diamond Doll Hair Studio! Not to mention I drive almost an hour just to go there! I have seen amazing results from all of the stylist. I have personally experienced Erica and Lisa and love my hair every time. I always walk out more than satisified! I would highly recommend!

It’s been almost 6 years since Ericka has been servicing my hair, she is always professional, prompt and keeps my hair looking good. She handles herself and her staff very well. I plan on staying a client as long as she’s there!

The first time I was there, the stylist who did my hair was unprofessional and caused a burn to my scalp due to making a very clumsy mistake. I spoke with the owner and was given a gift coupon to return and I gave this salon another chance. The second visit was neither impressive or redemptive by any means. My sister has visited once as well and had an equally unprofessional and negative experience with the stylist being condescending to her requests as well....I don’t doubt the talent of the owner but I do doubt the professionalism of this establishment and the other stylists. I have since parted ways and hope this studio has improved since then.

Erica is the best! If you want a gorgeous bob (my favorite) feed-in braids, natural hair, or any type of extensions, shes your girl!
