My car is not even one year old with 8,000 miles. I made an appointment to have my brakes checked. The first thing I encountered was a room full of non masked people and then they wanted to charge me $165.00 for a diagnostic check just incase the problem wasnt under warranty. I think not. I left and made appointments with Subaru and Hyundai to exchange my vehicle. Never want a service visit like that again.

Normally I wouldnt go out of my way to write a review, but the service I received at Gerald Ford while purchasing my new vehicle was outstanding. From the first contact with Miles to my in-house salesman Dylan, everyone provided me with exceptional customer service as well as gave me piece of mind in my purchase. While purchasing a new car in the current climate is not really a fun task - I left with a new car and a great deal. Also, props to the employee who let me take a look at his Supra while I was waiting - definitely made the wait a little easier!

This message is long overdue. We purchased a used Cadillac SRX from Gerald Ford a couple of years ago. The sales woman who helped us was Destanee who was very kind and helpful, especially when it came to keeping my niece occupied with coloring and treats. The sales manager, Genci, made the experience of purchasing a used vehicle very pleasant. He answered all of our questions and made sure we felt positive and satisfied about the purchase even months later! I would definitely consider purchasing a Ford Explorer from Genci next time if I get the chance to purchase a new vehicle in the future.A huge thank you to Genci for being so wonderful!!
I purchased a used Hyundai Santa Fe for my new teen drivers. I had a great experience with our salesmen Miles, and the GM, Tom. Miles was knowledgeable and patient as he went over the features of the car with me. I felt none of the typical salesman pressure. Update: 10-29-21As of yesterday, the service team has had my vehicle for three months without a date in sight as to when Ill be getting my vehicle back. They dont want to give me a loaner. Their suggestion is to buy another vehicle. They keep telling me that they have vehicles that have been there longer than mine, ad if that would cheer me up or something. This whole situation has been a nightmare that somehow wont end. I asked if Id have it back by the end of the year. Their response We dont know.I dropped off my vehicle over a month ago for something that was under warranty. They say the part is on back order. They also say they cant give me a loaner car. They dont know when Ill get my vehicle back. They do say I can trade it in, but I dont want to owe more money. Ive seen past reviews, so Im not the only one suffering apparently.

So Today I show up for my scheduled oil change appointment at GERALD FORD and I find out that not only has the price tripled but THEY HAVE BEEN PUTTING THE WRONG OIL IN MY CAR when they previously changed it?!?! It’s supposed to be synthetic in the bmw and they have been putting regular oil in it. Not only did they never say anything, the gentleman at the service desk didn’t care at all. Didn’t apologize or try to correct the situation. Now I’m dealing with ford customer service. I just expected I was getting good service each time. I WAS WRONG. My mistake for being too trusting

Beware the service department. Gerald Ford repaired an exterior door panel that was loose on our Explorer back in December. Six months later it fell off while driving on the freeway. Took it in for warranty and they offered to charge us only $600 to fix it right this time. No thanks, we’ll spend our money somewhere that stands behind their work!Wish I would have read the reviews before I brought it in - appears to be a great place to buy a car, but not so much to have one fixed.
A wise person, when making a large purchase such as a car, will do his homework before he commits to buying. In January, 2021, when I began my search for the proper pick up truck, I was met by the sales staff, as expected. They showed their interest in selling a car but what set them apart was they accepted my reluctance in buying today. Rather than bring out the big guns and increase the pressure, they let me make my own decision.Over the next several weeks, as I was considering what to buy, I went back a couple of times. One salesman, Dylan, seemed to be available each time and he became helpful by answering my questions. When the time came to actually buy, he was the salesman who pulled it together.On a personal note, now that Im retired, if I was still hiring good people, Id try to hire Dylan away from them to put him to work for me. Good people are hard to find.Finally, one big befit was the life time 100% drive train warranty on any car sold by Gerald; even used cars. A drive train warranty like that brought me back to Gerald and made it easier to make my final decision.
I had an appointment for my maintenance oil change tire rotation etc. I got right in and waited an expected time for the completion. It was done wonderfully and a car wash to boot! My car was a happy camper
I attempted to call them for warranty work on my truck and no one ever answers the phone. I called multiple times, just forced to be on hold then forced to leave a message. Worst service department ever, previous issues with dropping vehicles over the weekend and them not even working on them and them saying that there technician didnt come in. I wish I could give zero stars.
Making my appointment online was quick and easy and I was able to get in the next day. Staff was friendly and there was very little wait time for oil change and tire rotation. The next day my windshield fluid light came on. Most places top off fluids when getting an oil change. Thought Ford would have done the same.

I broke our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica while I didnt realize the tailgate was open, I pulled it in the garage and jacked up the tailgate pretty good. Ford took this car in the next morning and did an amazing job on the repairs. It looks better than new. When the car came back the inside was so clean. Thanks again Gerard Ford for the amazing job on our car, keep up the good work.

I like the guys at Gerald. Its less of a car salesman feel and I dont feel pressured while shopping. Im pretty sure it comes down to good management. Would not have reservations purchasing from them soon if we can find the right truck for the right price. Were suffering through the post Covid shortages at the moment...* follow up edit: I did end up purchasing a truck through Gerald Ford. Overall a pleasant dealership experience. Geralds Ford treated us like royalty, they were more than accommodating to say the least. I was adamant about the color and trim package of the vehicle I wanted. The closest vehicle to fit my liking was close to 300 miles away. They swapped vehicles with another dealership to get the vehicle I wanted. Customer service has been on the decline overall in my opinion with a lot of businesses, but not at Geralds. I would give them 10 stars!!!!!

Had my car serviced here for mechanical problems on the front end of my car. After paying for a diagnosis and getting it fixed it lasted for a day before noises came back. They fixed the issues on one side and must not have taken a look at the other side. $2600 repair turned into a $5200 repair but Im about to get a second opinion. Not sure if Ill be back there.Update: I got my car fixed for $240 at a local repair shop instead of the $2600 Gerald Ford quoted me. Only one of the 5 things that Gerald Ford wanted to replace actually needed to be replaced to fix the issue. I have driven the car for about 15 hours since having it fixed and it sounds perfect now. I would not take your car there unless you know exactly what needs to be replaced.
Bunch of scam artists here, please don’t go here. They had my girlfriends car for a month to fix the air conditioning, and didn’t even fix it. The air conditioning broke weeks later. They have forgotten oil changes multiple times. They modified my car without telling me and now I can’t take it to get an oil change anywhere but Ford. THESE PEOPLE ARE CRIMINALS. Go find a trustworthy mechanic that isn’t trying to scam you for personal gain. The Ford family didn’t start their car business 100+ years ago to scam customers. You people have lost your way

Shopping for a new car and finding out a few things I didnt know about dealerships.It seems that if the vehicle is popular, dealers will increase the price by adding on dealership options that I thought were really unnecessary. Locking lug nuts? I wouldnt need these if they didnt add $3000 worth of tires and rims.

Took them 4 weeks to fix my girlfriends air conditioning. They even ordered a special part to assure that “this would never happen again”Hundreds of dollars. And only a few months later. It’s broken again. And I haven’t even gotten started with how they have forgotten to do both of our cars’s oil changes.

You people charged me $165 twice to diagnose a hood latch and a broken radiator reservoir. When your sales person told me that I thought he meant they would deduct the $165 if I had the work done at your facility. It seems I was wrong. Had a deal negotiated on 17 Ford Raptor. Multiple calls back and forth with sales associate Dylan and his manager. Came to a deal and was told vehicle was marked sold. I gave my drivers license information, coordinated a driver to pick up vehicle as I’m buying out of state sight unseen. Called to put money down and pay for it. I was told it, all of a sudden, now has been through inspection again (after being listed online for sale for 7 days) and it needs a bunch of work so we can sell it for our negotiated price but add $5,000. What a joke. They wanted to sell a truck “as is” needing a timing chain for the price we agreed on at $53k (which I assumed was for a running truck per their sale listing) or could fix it and add 5k. They reposted truck for sale hours later at 6k higher price.Any other dealer I’ve worked with would have fixed the truck and sold it at deal that was worked out.
Let me start by saying my first couple service visits were good. However this last one was a very bad experience. Lack of communication; they had my car for 2 days with no updates on the issue until I called repeatedly. Mind you I had an actual appointment set. When the car was inspected they listed that I needed a new cabin filter… I had just replaced it 3 weeks prior… Obviously the filter was not inspected. Although a small thing it reminds me you need to double check service recommendations to avoid being over charged for unnecessary services.
Brought our 2017 Ford in for a tune up since my daughter was going to drive it over 4K miles. When we received it back, the carpeting that we specifically asked to be tucked in on the front right passenger side was still out and untucked. Also, our radio touch screen would not work. Did NOT make this momma happy having to send her baby to Wasington without my cars GPS in working order!!!

Called them up beforehand to enquire about a vehicle they have and asked for a out the door quote and they were happy to provide that over the phone, I told them the price I’m looking for and the manager got back to me in less than an hour saying that they can honor the price. And then when i went in, the process was smooth and fast. Got a great deal on my trade in too. Very professional and this was the fastest I got out of a dealership when buying a car.

I just bought a truck from Gerald Ford and had one of the best auto purchasing experiences of my life. The staff was beyond friendly, I got an amazing deal and the purchasing process was very seamless and smooth. My wife and I went to take a test drive on a new SUV, couple of guys see us while looking at the inventory and instead of go and ask they just walk around and never see them again, then a lady did same thing, Im pretty sure they see us but never approach us
I recently purchased a Ford F-350 from Gerald Ford and I could not be happier. The truck is used and Gregg and the sales team went out of their way to find the truck specifications I wanted. Once it was received on the lot, they prepped it and inspected it. Being a little older, the vehicle had a few issues that needed to be addressed (sunroof repair, rear camera, broken vent knob). Larry and the service department team stepped up and fixed everything. Now my truck is not only new to me, but it is in like-new condition. They worked with me on my trade-in and gave me an honest price...not something I was used to or expected from a big car dealership. I dont know if I won some kind of car dealer lottery or if they give everybody this level of service, but I cant say enough about how they have treated me so far.
I can not say how much I recommend Destanee! I stopped in there after car shopping different dealerships for about a month. I came in and let her know Im a single mom with bad credit and needed something to fit all my kiddos so reliable too. She was able to get me a car right within my budget, a cheaper payment than I asked for and warranty. She even listened to all the features I wanted and found me the perfect suv. I couldnt be happier I felt confident and comfortable buying from another mom who got it very happy with my purchase.
I used to love coming to this Ford but I guess I’ll go else where now. I was going to come back for the second part of my car but since I know it’s a rip off I’m not going to go back. I’m looking at my receipt which I had no knowledge of what anything cost they just gave me a total I thought it was for the parts and that’s why it cost was so High on my my bill. I was charged 500 dollars for labor when it was for parts that were less then 100 dollars. My labor costs were never that high and iv had parts that were over 1000 dollars.
I bought a Ford Explorer here and I paid for extended warranty on the car and they also said it has a life time warranty. I believe a certified car should be trusted to an extent. In less than three (3) months the car stopped on the road and I had it towed down to them and I was asked to pay that all my warranty and their assurance doesn’t cover belts. It’s really disappointing be stuck on the road and pay for tow and still pay for a repair of the so called certified car in just 2 months.

The service dept was very busy and they were ahead of their ETA. Final touch was a quick wash down of truck. Great customer appreciation.

I was referred to Gerald Ford by a friend/cowkr. I was looking for a vehicle to transport my disabled mother. Gensi told me he had a vehicle in stock. I went there and test drove it. There was a discrepancy with warranty. Gensi (who wasnt there when I test drove vehicle) called me the next day. We worked things out. The paperwork was straightforward without fees added and hidden in the paperwork. I needed to get in and out and that is exactly what happened. Gensi and Destani (I may have misspelled her name), pretty much made things happen. The financing was straightforward as well...everything I wanted was met. The vehicle exceeded my expectations with options provided. My primary goal was to have a secondary vehicle to seamlessly transport my mother. What I got is a fully loaded vehicle with options beyond my expectations, low mileage vehicle at a reasonable price. Also thank you to Brian who was helpful the day of my test drive. Going to dealerships can be a stressful experience but I have to say Gensi, Destani, Brian...and Eddie (in Finance) made it as stress free as possible. No long hours sitting in dealerships like years prior, no paperwork with numbers moved around so you think you got a deal but things got padded elsewhere...nope, what they said and what they wrote on paper pretty much on point. The discrepancy with the warranty was disappointing but not a deal breaker - thanks Gensi for following up. Thanks you Destani for calling to follow up after the deal. I havent really driven the vehicle due to it being a week and it not being my primary vehicle but I can say, I havent been disappointed the few times when I have driven it.
