I have purchased gift cards for the amount of $400 and they asked for my credit card to authorize with my bank. They took the card from me called a number, used my card details etc. We are in 2021 and I dont think you should be doing this anymore. At least none of the officemax stores in north do this anymore. My card info is private and how would i even know you were really calling the bank and not a third party. We are not even using signature after card purchases, so please quit the policies from 1990s.

When I stop an associate for help I expect them to at least act like they want to help me. Not give me an annoyed look and say what do you need. I just shooed her away and asked someone else for help who also acted like I was annoying. The only person that was nice to deal with was Joey. Hes always nice when I check out there. To the older short hair lady, thanks for putting me the customer in a bad mood! No one was in the store either!

A very sparse staff, working. Person on checkout. Person in back, no one in aisles to assist. Ladies restroom, specifically the handicapped stall (see pictures) was so incredibly filthy, I just find it mind bogglingly that employees dont notice.Went in to get a paper shredder, just for the house, Least expensive was about $80, up to several hundred $$. Seriously, $80, for a household shredder ???

We come here to make prints for our business. Not anymore. The staff members who work in the printing/copying area are beyond useless (except for one, younger guy whose name escapes me). They argue that they cant make certain size prints, even when they have done it in the recent past. One guy let my prints print onto the floor, damaging them. Theyre rarely measured correctly, thus cutting the edges off myself with scissors when I get home is often what I have to do. Not only are they incompetent, but theyre rude and act put out whenever you have them do their job. I even had a guy start helping another customer when I was already at the counter first. There are never enough employees back there either, so they get overwhelmed and it obviously effects their work performance. Seriously, save your money and go somewhere else because the hassle isnt worth it.

Andrew in the printing department is totally awesome.Friendly and knowledgeable.I believe that he is one of the best employees I have encountered at this type of store ever. They are truly lucky to have him. If I were able to employ him, I would try to steal him away.

I came in with a very late last minute project for my Speech and Debate team with a few family members. We had an idea set and we realized we wouldnt be able to get it just how we wanted when we got there. We got mad and started bickering with each other, but Louis (The MVP) was very calm and even offered different ways of going about it. He spent at least an hour helping us bind and cut tons of photos and paper, and the speed and accuracy he had was just incredible. I cannot thank him enough, its why Im writing this review: so people know just how amazing this team member is. Thank you, Louis!!

This place looks great! Much help available. Great furniture selection.

I feel their staff is well trained and very friendly and helpful. They maybe a little short handed if you are needing to get prints or copies made depending on the time of day. Will be wise to call ahead or if you can drop off and come back to pick it up.

Like office Max . Everyone is always helpful without acting as if you are a problem. I have trouble walking. The guys will get me what I need with out me having to ask.

I couldnt find anybody to help so I went to the desk in the back of the store. The gentleman with a beard said Sandisk memory cards were in aisle C. They were all over priced. Then after using restroom in back of store, i couldnt find sidewalk/blackboard Chalk. So I saw associate with beard walking towards back of the store. He hid and took different aisles to avoid me! LolIf he didnt want to come help customers in the store, then why work here? All did was ask a question.These young guys dont have any clue, and dont care about anyone but themselves. So frustrating!

Surprised $5.00 charge for a $0.24 transaction on print machine. Was assisted with printing machine, was told that the transaction was one amount, checked my account the next day and discovered that they charged me another amount throwing my account over the limit and did nothing to correct the situation.

The staff lets you shop without hovering. Got a decent deal on a desk there. Some office supplies are a little pricey, have to know your deals.

Staff is always very friendly and they definitely know about their products and options available! Prices may be high buy quality isnt lacking!

Came in to print some cards, told them i need actual size, they printed it to fit, noticed the size difference but couldn’t check it till i got home to know it was wrong and they aren’t the right size... 18 dollars wasted.

Signs in front window say we fix PCs. I brought 3 Panasonic Tough Books into the store with the same problem. All 3 had USB ports that worked intermittently. They told me they only fix software issues. If I needed a new hard drive or a virus removed they would be happy to help me. 10-07-17 @ 7:48pm Saturday evening. Over the 27 years I have been in business we have spent a reasonable amount of money on office furniture/computers/supplies/equipment/brief cases etc. from OFFICE MAX (NOT THAT THE GUY BEHIND THE COUNTER WOULD EVEN KNOW THAT.) But In my opinion they should have offered to at least look at them or even try to discourage me by telling me there was a $150 minimum bench charge to look at them or diagnose the problem with them. Had they made an effort to try to help me and ultimately they couldnt be repaired the possibility of selling me at least 1 new laptop to replace the 3 that were not working properly was a good possibility. No effort was made to help me. Doesnt mean I wont be back but will be a last resort. I have never had a bad experience at Office Max until tonight.

Every single time I come here to the print center I always have a ridiculous wait time. There are always 3-4 people ahead of me with one employee working back here. Get these poor people some help! Makes me want to take my business elsewhere.

Went there for two items, one for business, one for personal. I was told after the first transaction that I would have to go back in line for the second transaction for the second item. I have never heard of such a policy and I will never return! Poor customer service.

Okay store. It will be a good thing if the ftc lets staples buy them.
