Ive been coming here for over 5 years with multiple different vehicles. As a woman, Ive never felt taken advantage of or scammed. Which in the car industry is rare. They are always honest with me. Also, speedy is an understatement. Ive never waited more than 30 minutes to have an oil change which saves me so much time. They are also reasonably priced so if your looking for a new place to get oil changes, this is your spot!

Mike and Bubba were very professional. Service was fast- oil change, tire check, & 17 point check. Bubba explained and showed the engine and gave future recomendations. Place was clean and organized. Will def tell friends and use them again!

Chris was very helpful in letting us know what our car needed! Unlike other mechanics he actually shows you &’ explains what wrong instead of charging you a million dollars without an explanation. We will definitely be coming back for his service! A complete different experience than other shops we’ve gone to. I recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service! He even vacuumed our car for us!

Professional and cordial staff . I came for an oil change they check over everything, they even topped off all my fluids as well as vacuumed out the car wiped down the windows . Overall I am very satisfied with this experience. Staff was very knowledgeable and didn’t push to sell me everything, they simply let me know what they recommended and let it be. Costumer service was great they were all very friendly, highly recommend !

I went there for an oil change and tire rotation and was greeted fairly quickly by a friendly and helpful man...I left my car and was told they would call me when it was done. Couple hours went by with no phone call and it was close to closing time so I called them and the phone was answered by a very happy and helpful woman who informed me that my car was done and waiting for me. I got there and again was immediately greeted, went in to pay and was greeted again. When I looked over my receipt in the car I did notice that they never rotated my tires and when I got home I realized they had left a couple dirty shop rags in my cup holder and on my seat. Over all not bad for the money I paid and the people were great but would also like to get the services I asked for and not have nasty rags left in my car.

Really disappointed in the service/quality I got with oil change a few days ago at the North Charleston location. The west Ashley location was amazing and our “go to” shop for years before we moved to N Charleston. When I picked up the vehicle, there was grease all over the drivers side and passenger side, including both of my fabric seats (and stains on an umbrella in the seats that won’t come out). Not to mention I also have a new vibrating noise under the hood that wasn’t there pre oil change. I don’t expect my vehicle to be spotless after an oil change, but this came across as completely not caring or taking care of my things. It took a solid hour of cleaning when I got home to get most of it out. Really unfortunate for what I expected from the company based on the other location.

They have great customer service! Bubba check my truck and diagnosed what was the issue. He was very knowledgeable and his customer service is exceptional!

I had a wonderful experience at SpeeDee on Northwoods! I went first thing when they opened and had no wait. My technician, Chris, was very kind and helpful. He worked quickly and informed me of some easy things that needed fixing that they could take care of and other more serious issues that I should check-on with a mechanic. They were all things that I knew needed servicing which was reassuring; they were not trying to push any unnecessary services on me. I will be going back for my next oil change!

Service was great per usual. The guys usually do a good job helping women with cars which is is hard to find. Bubba gave me useful information about keeping my vehicle maintenance as well.

I went in for an oil change and they greeted me promptly and helped me get everything situated. I noticed driving there my tire pressure was low and my windshield wipers were messed up (they had been for about 2 weeks). Not only did they pump my tires for free, but they called to let me know they noticed my windshield wipers were falling apart and they can also fix that for a low price. They also gave me information about the entire car inspection they did and told me about everything they inspected and how it looks good. Everyone was incredibly nice and Im also glad that the extra service they offered was one I already knew needed to be fixed. They were quick, courteous, and really care about the customers.

SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service on Northwoods Boulevard in North Charleston is a great option for an oil change and other auto services. They are quick and efficient at getting everything done when you are on the move. The staff here is very professional and know what they are doing.

They were the cheapest place I found to do an oil change and they excepted my coupon on top of the oil change cheap price and they also informed me of other minor problems I was having with my card and they can repair and help me with and educated me on the issue! On 17th of April 2020 my car was driven to SpeeDee Oil Change at 7395 Northwoods Boulevard in North Charleston South Carolina 29406, to receive an oil change for a 1996 Lexus LS400. During the oil change my car was damaged, at the muffler. Now my muffler is hanging/dangling from the bottom of my vehicle. I have disputed this incident on site, with no resolution. I have also involved the local police department to assist, with no resolution. I have even contacted a different location( summerville), in regards to upper management information and verbal contact by phone but no resolution either. This company is a franchise and it seems that there giving me the runaround about fixing my vehicle..worst oil change ever went in for a 50 bill left out with over $300 in damages...Could you say never again...

Jim and his team are AMAZING!!!! We always come here for oil changes and anytime something is wrong with our cars! They are fast, efficient, and HONEST! They also explain IN DETAILS what is wrong with my car before working on it to make sure I understand what and why Im paying for.

Usually go to Pepboys, but oil changes take hours and their manager is overly friendly. Got a coupon in the mail for Speedee and decided to try them instead. Got an oil change and tire rotation and was in and out in less than an hour. Staff was also a lot more professional.

This place was great. They did not try to sell me on anything, only explained what I needed and let me decide. I will be returning!

They werent pushy or aggressive with their approach either... Which I greatly appreciated, being a woman, you know were targeted at places like this.

I enjoy my experience everytime I come to this location. Michelle always delivers above and beyond with customer service. She is very knowledgeable about her job and straight to the point. Mike was very informative with my oil change, he explained everything to me about my oil change and what he noticed on my Dodge Caravan during the inspection. Jim is the man with the tires! Even though I had a slight wait, it was alll well worth it! Jim as well, was detailed on rim situation and gave me pointers on what to do with my vehicle. I was there a couple of weeks ago because my car wouldn’t start. I had already taken it to a different place to have the battery tested and it came back good. When my car wouldn’t start, there’s only place that I wanted to have my car towed to. The General Manager there has always been very gracious and accommodating to me so I figured I’d give them another opportunity. Sure enough, he put me with Jim. Jim explained to me that he had another vehicle that he needed to finish, but that he would get to me as soon as he could, which is completely fair and appreciated. Jim was EXTREMELY patient and understanding of my situation. After working for an extended amount of time, he was able to find a solution. Since Jim fixed it, I haven’t had the issue at all. Jim is VERY PROFESSIONAL, he’s VERY PATIENT, and his work simply speaks for itself. Both he and the GM kept me updated with where my vehicle was in the process. I truly appreciate them. This is the only place in Charleston that I come to for any work whether it’s tires, electrical, oil change, etc. They have a customer FOR LIFE!

All around great people and really make sure you know what’s going on with your vehicle! Not only that, but the guys here always go above and beyond with any concern or other questions I tend to have.

I really appreciated that they helped me to prioritize what needed to be done right away so that I can at least start on the more important things. I was even given pricing on services that I will need next time so that I can save up for it. I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of.

Got My drive belt done and. Tune up done and gaskets replaced and oil changed . Jim worked on my car and was very attentive, Professional. He walked through and show ed me everything that was wrong. Worst place to work for. Nothing gets wiped down to prevent covid. I was the only employee sent there while 2 managers were positive for covid-19. The only person to sanitize anything. So many things wrong with this business. 10/10 would not recommend. Not disgruntled over anything. People need to know the truth.More than 75% of their reviews are bought with free things or coupons They didnt take me down with them. Jokes on them all as I landed a job making double what I was plus commission.

My husband and I was very pleased with Jim at Speedee..... we just bought a mercury and was told one thing prior to taking it in but he was determined that what was said to us wasn’t the issue and he was right!! $35 for a plug/patch on my tire? 1 tire. Never again! Wayyyyyy over priced. They charged $12.98 for the plug/patch, $17.01 Labor and $2.99 for shop fees. Wth? Wow! Unbelievable. Unfreakingbeliveable!

Drew definitely went the extra mile when my ring fell down the bathroom sink. Drew was able to fish it out immediately. I visited SpeeDee back in August for a tire rotation and oil change. Being that this would be my first oil change on my new car, I called around to local shops for pricing. Upon calling SpeeDee, I was told an oil change was about $40 and a tire rotation would be an extra $20. I figured with taxes and shop fees, I would pay up to $80. I brought my car in and waited about an hour at the shop. When it was time to pay, I was shocked to see I was charged $114.71 for an oil change and tire rotation!!! I felt that I was lied to over the phone of the true cost of an oil change, and being that I have never in my life paid over $100 for an oil change, I was upset. I just came back from one of the dealerships off of Rivers Ave and paid $60 for a tire rotation and oil change, which also came with a complementary carwash. I most definitely will not be returning to SpeeDee for future oil changes.

I came to get a tune up the gave me a fuel injection clean job and talk about I need to take my truck to Midas to run computer check for my engine light. Huh🤔 I came there for tune up but I want me to go to another shop wow. Plus they wasnt busy at all

I have been here before about a year ago and wasn’t too pleased but decided to try again because I heard they were under new management. That must have made all the difference because I was extremely happy with the service I received and will be coming back for all of my car care needs! They were very attentive and answered all of the questions I had. Every person I encountered greeted me and was very polite. I 100% recommend!

No masks. I waited outside until checkout. I have done business here for several years. November 2020 I had my oil changed, no masks in the shop and the person that cashed me out and spent most of his time in a small lobby full of customers didnt have a face cover. The city had a mask mandate. I

Even though it was like super cold outside (which I miss some days) Christian and Michelle were awesome! They had impeccable customer service and was very thorough in all aspects of their job. I enjoy coming to Speedee because honestly its really the quickest oil change Ive ever gotten. The conversation was and made it an memorable experience. I was greeted at my vehicle and told the gentlemen that I wanted an oil change. He asked if I wanted standard or synthetic. I asked for standard. He suggested a high mileage oil change and I said that’s fine. No price was given at that time. I got to the counter to pay my bill, my high mileage oil change from was $68.21. My car doesn’t even have over 75k miles on it, which the odometer reading was never looked at when greeted. There is 55k miles on my vehicle. The manager did give me a $20 credit on my next visit. I will use that but will never return. It’s my fault for just agreeing but it should have been enlightened at my initial encounter of the price and my odemeter reading. What price and said ooo change was not even necessary for my vehicle. The other staff was extremely helpful (Mike) and I appreciate his time going over suggestions with me.Make sure you ask for pricing as I agreed with the suggestion beforehand. Lack on both ends but I expect a service and not be taken advantage of.

I went to the location on northwoods blvd in north charleston and i must say the service here was phenomenal. the man behind the desk was being harassed by a rude customer but still kept his positive attitude and was very professional. rayshard was the mechanic who worked on my car and he was absolutely amazing! very kind and made me comfortable in a situation that normally makes me anxious

Have used this location for my car service for a few years now. Usually the crew is always nice and courteous. My recent visit a gentleman named Drew assisted me in the lobby. I have never been so offended by a person in my life! He talked down to me and my wife because we couldn’t afford the oil he TOLD us we HAD to have. We drive a 2008 Ford Explorer and it claims it HAD to have synthetic blend oil. I have never used this type of oil at any time of my ownership. My vehicle has 167,000 miles on it. Just out of curiosity I checked my owners manual and called the Ford dealer to see if I had been mistaken all these years.. Guess what Drew was WRONG!! Regular conventional oil is all I need! So if you want some shady salesman to talk to you like an idiot go see Drew. I have made all my friends and co workers aware of the scam that this guy has brought to what in the past has been a pleasurable place to visit for my car needs but not anymore.

Well a screw in the tire and an oil change. 147 out the door. Got it back in 1hr 30 approximatley and got back to work on time. Props to the guy that topped off my tair pressure in all the tires.
