Well stocked store, with friendly and helpful people always happy to give advice, answer questions, or brainstorm solutions. Definitely better than making the trip across the river or up Dorchester Rd to the big box places.

I know its just a hardware store but I love going in here. Always friendly fellas. Who wouldnt wanna be greeted by a giant Alf? Made my day.

Sellars Hardware & Electric on Dorchester Road in North Charleston is a reliable source for all things hardware and tools. I like the selection and value that they have available here. They have excellent customer service here and will take the time to make sure that you are helped and that you have everything that you need.

What at a great, real, old fashioned hardware store. It feels good just going into this store. The staff are so helpful and knowledgable, plus even fix things while your there if they can. This is what shopping used to be like before the big box stores with their be-as-little-help-as-possible employees came to dominate. The Sellers folks are genuine, caring and really a great resource!

Really impressed with the customer service of this hardware store. We’d just gotten our Christmas tree & couldn’t find a stand for it anywhere in town. I called Sellers because they weren’t too far away & frankly, i was just going down the list of possible vendors. I’m assuming the owner answered the phone when i called & he was extremely friendly. He told me he thought he had one left & needed to check. Sure enough, he did! He might as well be Santa Claus because he’s providing a lot of Christmas cheer for our toddler this year!Thanks Sellers! We’ll be back again very soon.

If you are replacing old plumbing hardware this is the only place to go. I needed a kit that I couldnt find anywhere else in town and they had it. Then the faucet handles didnt fit right. They had a solution for that as well. Ive been in the store probably 5 or 6 times for one project and they always have a solution for me. The employees are so nice as well. So thankful for this place!

We had some keys mad and got stainless screws to fix a seat on a golf cart. Staff was Courtious and helpful from the time we walked in the door till we left

These folks are life-savers! Prices are competitive with big-box stores but without the crazy parking, long lines or crying children.If you dont see it on the shelf, just ask--you dont have to hunt down an employee, theyre right there ready to help.Ill do a lot to avoid going to the big W-mart, but with Sellars I can get what I need and dont even have to pay more!
