We were in town pulling a 5th wheel, we made it to our destination, that where my truck failed to start. I am an auto tech in a shop very similar to Cantrell Service, so I was able to get parts I needed to repair my distributor from a near by NAPA auto parts store. The only thing I didnt have was a timing light to reset ignition timing. I called Cantrell Service and David answered, when I told him of my situation he told me he didnt have a timing light at the shop anymore (as they are pretty much obsolete as new cars have no need to adjust timing, all computer controlled), but said he had one at home in his personal tools. He said he would if it was still operational, and let me know the day. Well unfortunately it was not working anymore, but what a great person David is to take time to check and let me know he was not able to help me. I checked other shops and no one was willing to help out for a number of days or just didnt care to help me. I ended up buying a new light and getting the timing adjusted and back on with the rest of our 2000 mile trip. In my experience, Cantrell Service Center (CSS) has always been a helpful, capable, communicative, and accommodating place. I took my car in for an alignment, and really they did a fantastic job. It was a bit pricey compared to the competition in my particular case, but for the competence and trustworthy people I feel that it was worth every penny. Also, the competition really didnt seem like they wanted to do the work; Not so with CSS. One of the mechanics, Chris I think it was, caught a small but potentially serious issue that I missed, when I did my own work, and remedied it in the course of procedure. (after informing me first). It would probably have been missed at a more corporate garage, or even ignored, and then Id be spending more on remedying the subsequent bearing failures and etc. Prevention counts, and their mechanic paid attention to detail! Going to CSS really increased my peace of mind. I recommend the place. Thank you!

AC was working but not very well. They checked everything out and determined I was nearly out of Freon. They recharged my system along with a dye to try and locate the leak. Unfortunately they were unable to find it in the time they had to observe it. Certainly the leak must be tiny. Rather than keeping my vehicle for several days they returned it to me it’s instructions for me to pay attention to the cooling and if I noticed a change to bring it back. I appreciated the service and the return of my vehicle. I definitely recommend them for auto service.

I brought my car in for a general inspection in prep for a road trip. I actually enjoyed going to the mechanic. They were professional and honest (they said my car was in good shape!), and I highly recommend them.

I was very pleased with Cantrell’s inspection and service. I had bought a ‘new’ used vehicle with 192,000 miles on it and needed a baseline current condition. They checked nearly everything and the vehicle passed inspection except for the brakes. However I was given the okay for minor local driving until I get the money together for proper repair. I love these guys, they kept my 2005 vehicle road ready for several years and I followed their recommendations as they are trustworthy.

Cantrell Service Center did some needed repairs to keep our old SUV on the road. The work was performed on time and as they estimated. The vehicle runs as it should and I would recommend them for small or major repairs.

Great service, took them about five minutes to figure out what they needed to do, I left as they fixed the tire, they gave me a call when it was done, and they even put the tire on for me. Will definitely recommend to my friends, this is affordable but excellent service.

Sarah and david were very helpful and friendly. I haven’t had this vehicle very long. I bought it in Feb 2020 with 180,000. I took it to the Chevrolet dealership to get an inspection in an oil change. The truck has 186,000 miles at this point. Yesterday I walked in and they were able to work me in at the last minute. They made sure to give a thorough inspection so I would have a good base line for my maintenance schedule. They went over all all the mechanics notes and answers all my questions. My entire family has been using Cantrell Service Center for years. As a young woman, its important to me to have a go-to mechanic that is dependable, respectful, and doesnt feel manipulative. Cantrell Service Center has excellent customer service. They will not try to pull a fast one on you, and they take the time to explain whats wrong with your car in detail, and whether the problem is a common or uncommon issue for your type of car. Theyll tell you the pricing on the front end (and theyll call you to discuss any price changes before making the repair), and they are fast! Theyve performed everything from simple oil changes for me, to replacing parts of my car battery terminal, to repairing brakes, and replacing my Subarus control arms and bushings. They already had the parts for the battery, and my car was finished the very same day the control arm parts were delivered. As an added bonus, without me asking, they even took the time to give me some pertinent advice to help increase the longevity of my Subaru. To me, that says a lot about their ethics and integrity. They couldve opted to not offer that advice, and then maybe I wouldve had some very serious and costly damage to my vehicle in the future. I also found out that they will do a pre-inspection on a vehicle youre interested in purchasing. I recommend Cantrell Service Center to all my co-workers, friends, and family.

This place though! Wow, we were still 3 hours out from being home finally when no thanks to road workers not properly keeping things off the interstate that DONT belong and you have NO choice but to run their stuff over since the other choices are a concrete wall or a line of traffic going about 80 mph.......and it destroyed the undercarriage piece and started to melt the plastic, so to keep from possibly harming the tire or anything else further we were only about 15 minutes from Cantrell Service Center in North Little Rock. They greeted us with excellent manners, said theyd fix it the best they could to keep it from damaging the tire they also gave my granddaughter a little kids juice box and me some glorious coffee lol I hadnt been able to have any all day so that alone was amazing.....the best thing is when the guy showed its the temporary fix and that itd hold until it could be replaced BUT when I asked how much he said nothing, youre good and when I said wow aww you sure, well pay a service fee or something for the last minute help..... He again said no, no youre good yall just make it home safe and have a good weekend!God bless that place, the mannerism alone was amazing, hell I would drive the 3 hours there just to have a body shop that had the values they did! So thank you Cantrell Service Center!!!

AAA recommended them when I needed my GMC Canyon towed. It was a Friday afternoon and they couldnt get to it until Monday. They found it was a quick fix and were very thorough in the process of the oil leak. Differential drain plug was loose, just needed be tightened. Not sure how that happened over my 45 min drive out of Little Rock. Highly recommended, Cantrell!

Its incredibly refreshing to find somewhere like this: quality work, no scam artistry, honesty and professional.I am so glad I did my research and combed through Google reviews etc. of places in Little Rock and stumbled across this place.We inherited a 2003 Crown Victoria. Although, the engine is sound and it has incredibly low mileage (single owner was elderly and didnt drive it very often), basic maintenance of the car has not been kept up over the years. As such, it was time for new AC actuator, serpentine belt, rotors, rear pads, brake fluid and a new ebrake. Everything was completed for under 1200. Were satisfied with the work and the car is whisper quiet after the belt change.Would not hesitate to return here in the future! Highly recommended!

I chose this business based on reviews and a reference from a close family member. I called the day before and spoke with a very nice gentleman (Chuck) who gave me a quote for the service requested. He then shared that they were not taking appts only walk-ins at this time and that I would need to be able to leave the vehicle if brought in. I took my vehicle in the next morning and was greeted by David. He was very professional as well. He gave me a timeline for the service (they were short-staffed) and told me he would check first to see if I indeed needed the service requested. He called that afternoon confirming what was needed with pricing, as well as an additional service. I approved. My car was ready just before closing and guess what? I did not need the additional service he mentioned during our earlier conversation! I saved over $600.00 utilizing Cantrell Service Center as my dealer wanted close to $1000.00 for the same service😳. I got a car 3 weeks ago that has had many issues. Was basically lied to on condition of motor.I fixed a good portion of the issues and until I had a leak I couldnt track down, I decided to call Chuck at Cantrell Service Center.I explained my delima and what the end goal was. ( to find the source of the leak ).They were very upfront and honest. They also found other issues as well as confirmed that other parts were ok.The money I spend was well worth it and I wouldnt take it anywhere else.

Theyre always quick and and they take the time to explain to you what work they did and tell you if they find anything else that is wrong and a time frame when it would need to be fixed. I feel like their honest and arent just there to take your money like most mechanic shops try to do.
