My husband and I have B&N dates at least once a month. I love the new layout and the written descriptions on employee favorites were great! I cant wait until fall to sip on my hot Starbucks drink and browse the many books. My husband also discovered the vinyl section and was thrilled!

Even if youre not looking for books, Barnes & Noble has a lot of interesting items, and of course books are no exception to that. Theres a friendly atmosphere and its a fun experience to just look around and see what you can find.

This location is always helpful and friendly. They have a good selection to choose from and a good go to in the NLR are if you need something.

Love, love, love this store...if theyd permit it Id live here..lol..they have everything from the most recent novels and reading necessities to the most loved classics...you can also find your music interests and the latest magazine issues and if you need a refreshment they have a great selection of coffees and my very favorite... green tea Frappuccino. What more could you ask for??

I have been happy with the customer service at this location. its usually easy to find someone to help you find a certain book and the prices are reasonable. I understand they need people to buy the books and move on but at the same time I would love to see some nicer chairs to sit down and read a chapter or two before you purchase.

Customer service rivals that of the state penitentiary...Cashier made a mistake with a charge and I asked if everything was correct and she said yes. Got to car and receipt proved my suspicion was correct. No big deal though! Mistakes happen! My problem lies with whoever answered when I called about the mix up who quite literally hung up on my in the middle of my sentence. No goodbye. No sorry about that mix up. Train your employees to be decent human beings bro. I’ve been coming in once a week as of recent and will now be buying my books via Amazon lmao.

I love to browse a good book store. The loss of Books-a-Million was devastating for us! B&N had some big shoes to fill.But a recent trip to the book store in The Other Center across from McCain Mall gave me a chance to grab some new books by two Animal Planet stars and look around at new displays.They have LPs! Just like what I grew up listening to and playing on my first stereo! Classic rock albums! 🤯 My mind was blown!!There are lots of items to help you plan your special wedding day or find that unique gift for a bride. Picture frames, gift books.One of the handiest items I found was an Address Book, with an Internet password Log Book. My word, do I ever need that!!! Every security site says to change your passwords every 3 months-- are they kidding me??!! I am still hunting for keys I put away where I would be sure to remember where they were!! Now I can remember changing passwords 4 times a year for every website I order from?!Something that I found especially adorable, were these 3 dimensional Birthday and other greeting cards. You will see them in my photos!Theyve also got a Starbucks inside the bookstore, if you are looking for a place to sip coffee with a friend and chat.Lots of categories, from classics to bestsellers to new releases, there is plenty for any readers heart or lots of classic rock albums to soothe any Baby Boomers young soul!Enjoy!

Still a great store, but there were a couple of things I wasnt able to locate. Granted, I didnt ask staff for help, Im kind of stubborn that way sometimes.

Great staff. Professional environment, fully stocked and organized. The Starbucks is okay but nothing healthy to order. Thats a Starbucks problem, not B&N.

We go here for the Starbucks. No matter who is working they make the best drink. Our frozen drinks are never watered down like the other locations. We drive past 3 with drive ins just to park and walk in to this one because they make the best drinks.The book staff is always great and friendly too.

I went to Barnes and Noble for a latte. The cafe was excellent with service and experience. The book department was great! I was even surprised when there was a LGBT book at eye level about coming to terms with yourself in the young adult section. Great job Barnes and Noble for being inclusive. Beautiful store!!!

I love this B&N store! The cafe has a tasty selection, and friendly baristas. This former movie theatre(s) location is a fun neighborhood hangout with regular activities like chess night, book clubs, and local meetups. The pandemic has put a hold on most social events, but the patient and friendly staff make this B&N a fun place to grab a drink and find that new book youve been looking for. They even have vinyl records, manga, and a collectibles/toy section! Check them out! 😄👍

Went in for some coffee, and left with three lattes, two books, a journal, seven pens, a subscription to Harry Potter wizarding world gold experience, and a chocolate bar with caramel.The cafe lady with the green hair, Rheanna I think her name was, had excellent customer service. I ordered coffee so she got me coffee. Amazing staff. Definitely recommend.

While the employees are indeed helpful, they do take it upon themselves to express their doubt if youre there to buy something which made my visit rather uncomfortable. Ill certainly return if I need something there that I cant find anywhere else but Ill endeavor to avoid the socially akward and verbose employees as well.

I have been a fan of Barnes & Noble and Books A Million, since I was 14 years old. I have been going in to read for 18 years (I am 32) and my latest visit has made me a little depressed. My last visit, the staff was very stalkerish and being a businessman kind of understand why. The employees I assume are under pressure to make sales, which is probably hard when people come in to read and than not make a purchase. In the current business world it is harder than ever to remain profitable, and I truly understand that.This will be more of an suggestion/advice column more than a review, because It will be very sad if the last bookstore goes out of business. Now I know it hurts the business with the above predicament so I have a few ideas that I hope somebody from the company sees and ponders.In order to leave the business as is, allowing the customers to come in, and just hang out as they read, some sort of revenue stream is needed.1. My first idea is how about once a year or something having a crowdfunding event for leaving everything as is. Maybe ask for 10K just to help ease the burden on the staff and piece of mind, for people like me who come in and feel guilty when I spend 2 hours inside and I leave without making a purchase. I would give money toward such an cause.2. Maybe have an, I wont say chair subscription cause it sounds bad but maybe an optional donation that people could put some money into it to kind of rent the chair for a few hours. Again I feel this would calm the worries of the staff, so they arent having to follow customers around, creating an awkward situation for everyone. I realize that this may anger some people, but if a notice explaining the situation is posted next to the chairs/ at the door, they would be really understanding. On another note, this might sound bad but it would also help with the homeless people that come in and take up a chair. I have noticed it and I can only imagine the spot it puts management in.I have a couple more Ideas but I think the above 2 would go a long way. Again I hope the company can come up with a solution without having to get rid of the chairs in order to turn a profit. As stated before I would be more than willing to give money in order to be able to keep the chairs. It is the one place I still have to go, when I am needing a break from kids/wife/work.

Besides the bathroom being a wreck, everything else looked (incredible selection childrens books!) and tasted great (GODIVA @ the cafe!). The browsing inside this Barnes & Noble is fun: the displays pique your curiosity, and various collections (whether DVDs or books) are comprehensive! The checkout process was quick, cheerful. This Barnes & Noble is worth another look-see book-wise and DVD-wise, with a savoring of confections and coffees in the cafe!

Store is open but constant announcements that other shoppers are waiting outside due to social distancing made me feel rushed and killed the experience. I felt guilty for browsing so I left. It wasnt a good buying experience. I understand why they do it but the practice does not encourage sales.

I love Barnes and Nobles. Its always quiet and all the store attendents are kind and courteous. They have no problem helping you find or order a book. The coffee shop (Starbucks) is alright. Sometimes they are understaffed and their offerings are small, but the Cafe is a great place to quietly read or study.

I could spend hours looking at all the beautiful books here!! Staff is very friendly!! The music section is so cool too!! Been a long time since I have seen LPs!! Very nostalgic!!

Very well layed out, very clean environment. Place was organized and staff was extremely helpful. Customer service was able to locate the two books I came looking for, walked me directly to them. The only minor complaint I have is pricing. Its typical high priced book store prices. Can definitely get cheaper online, but my impatience has me walking into the store. All in all in was a good experience, and would recommend this location to anyone who is just as impatient as I am.

In an age where brick and mortar stores are battling the on-line footprint of Amazon, its nice to see such a nice bookstore as B&N holding their own here in North Little Rock. The selection of books is top notch with something for every genre. Their childrens section has a great selection and they have an awesome game section - with games for adults and kiddos. The cafe is great though I wish they placed a few of the big comfy chairs there. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable of their inventory. Put down the cell phone and spend some time browsing and relaxing in one of McCain Boulevards finest stores.

Come here often simply to check out the korean pop albums.. but overall this place is actually really good. very quiet and a large selection of books

I used to really love the place. However they seem to have less of the content that I like the most Firearms, hunting and outdoor stuff. Even the vehicle hobbyist type material seems to have become limited. Its still a nice place to go sit and relax .

The store is nice and air conditioned well. They have a Starbucks and the drink was made quickly and tasted good. Its been a couple months since Ive been there last and they updated the store to appeal more to kids. In the back they have lots of games, toys and STEM products. They have a rather large variety of book genres but it seemed to lack depth in any one genre. I was disappointed that they didnt have any fundamentals of engineering exam study prep, but like I mentioned early, they lack depth. I felt like a lot of the learning content was geared to the novice or beginner, so if youre above that level, youll find most of the material useless. Overall it was a good experience and they could improve by adding more depth to their genres.

Too cool man! It is almost a treat to come here. It is cozy and has a Starbucks attached so you can get a coffee and just wander around looking at all the books. Great variety and very helpful staff.

Called in and asked about a kind of obscure book, and not only did they have it, but they put it on hold for me til the next day. Im sure if theres something youre looking for, theyll have it and be very helpful getting it for you. Also the lady whos usually there to check people out is delightful

The store itself is fabulous... I had a cashier that made me wait while he spoke to someone on the phone... From what I gathered it was not a customer... Then used high pressure tactics to try and get me to buy into a membership... I explicitly told him that I used my ereader and that the only reason I was there was to get a book to read during jury duty... That did not stop him... He actually put down Amazon...his name was Steven L... Hope you dont run into him...

We always enjoy going to this B&N. My kids always find the books that they are looking for and I love the staff at the Starbucks. The staff at B&N are also very helpful. Its a relaxing environment with a great selection.
