They carry so many different books, Bibles, cases, paintings, tee shirts, CDs, jewelry, gifts for every occasion, school supplies for teachers, students and home schooling supplies for parents.Church supplies of all kinds. Pastors or church secretaries will find lots of church supplies available. These include Bulletin covers, cups for the Lords Supper, postcards for visitors, Gospel Tracts for Evangelism ministry, plus boxes of lovely cards and racks of single purchase cards for every occasion!Then there are the office supplies available for much less than most office supply stores! They carry desk calendars, yearly day planners -- set up for the Academic Year or the Calendar Year.All kinds of pens, pencils, markers, erasers, rulers, scissors, and novelty supplies of unique pencil covers and character erasers. Mardes is a great store. Love the home decor, gifts, tshirts, etc. I do wish that they would have more diversity in their educational items. They do represent all, but not many items represent minorities.

I was trying to buy a Bible for my wife. No one was up front or around to help. We waited a little over 10 minutes when the manager asked if we had been helped. He found the cashier and instructed her to help. The cashier gave us attitude because we didnt know that we had to pay before the imprint.We decided to buy from Amazon. It was $20 cheaper and attitude free.

I love Mardels. It has just about everything you need. It falls under the lines with the Hallmark stores, by geared to Christian. I dont get there often, but when I do it is a great experience and you are treated well by those who work there.

This is a great source for purchasing small orders, you dont want to pay shipping on! :-) Plus, there are wonderful classroom posters & manipulativemanipulative ares well. We buy pencils there for good behavior while Mommy shops, too!
