Negative stars for the Northbrook Walgreens at 1050 Waukegan Rd. Completely unprofessional and rude. Scheduled a rapid covid test without antigen for today and when we arrived, the pharmacy technician at the drive-thru didnt even know what type of rapid test that they give. It seems that she wasnt aware that they have one normal rapid test and then they have a rapid test with antigen. She spoke to her coworkers who I suppose informed her that they were two different rapid tests, however, she was not apologetic for her ignorance at all. I did mess up in following her directions and I touched the box that the swab was in and I apologized for that. However I was completely disappointed with this experience, there was also the fact that I never saw her wash her hands nor did she put gloves on when she first touched the swab I believe she only put her gloves on because we were watching her. This was my first time at this Walgreens, it makes me value the Walgreens that I use in Highwood and Highland Park to the fullest. I truly hope to never have to return here again, I only went because they offer the rapid test.

I could have swore that I have reviewed this location before since I live down the street hmmm.Oh well this location is literally right down the street from our house so well always go here first, but unfortunately this Walgreens is on the smaller side and I come to find most things that Im looking for are not in stock. I should learn by now and just drive to the one in Northfield or Wilmette, but shame on me Im the one who keeps on forgetting. The store overall is fine its clean the staff for the most part are friendly its just small and never has what I need in stock.

Horrible wait times and if you do get to speak with someone half of the time they make you feel like you’re asking for something unreasonable like ringing up the prescription right in front of them when they are chatting with a coworker. Osco is so much better.

I arrived at the local Walgreens in complete distress, my daughter had left crest whitening strips on her teeth over night. She was in dyer, yelling pain and refused to go to school. She was really hurting, she looked up things that would help her maintain the severe pain and came up with Oral pain relief gel and that was available at a Walgreens near by. I am so thankful for the women that helped me and my daughter out. Her name is Hannah D. and I have never received such great customer service. I’m not one to post these reviews but she deserved it. She was great and my daughter made it to school for her finals. Hire more employee’s like her! Thank you again.

I love my Walgreen’s. Helpful staff. Clean store always. Well stocked shelves. Great selection of many products I use and need. From groceries to photo. Excellent make up options, knowledgeable staff for anything. My rewards card also makes it worth it.

I waited (on hold) for the pharmacy for just under 10 minutes before just hanging up! All they kept doing was picking up the phone & pressing hold again.

Just filled A prescription and had a great experience. Forgot to ask what the pharmacist name was but she was a young lady with glasses. She was quick and efficient and very nice. Was scared to come here after reading reviews but I had a wonderful experience… Maybe they hired someone new

Amazingly poorly staffed. Its astonishing this place is less than five miles from Walgreens HQ and routinely takes over 24 hours to fill simple prescriptions. You can easily wait in line 30 minutes to pick up prescriptions, and the counter staff appear unable to triage the situation at all or to handle unreasonable customers.

Abysmal service, profoundly understaffed, made the mistake of walking in on Saturday for a flu shot.Waited 30 minutes in line just to find out another line for vaccinations. The “ walk-in convenient “ service took 40 minutes and only because I informed the desk I wanted to leave.Hard to believe this facility is only 2 miles from the Deerfield Corp headquarters...

Too much touch Entering your phone number to many times also rewards coupons have too many rules and conditions and can’t remember them all and it’s not worth it

Slowest pharmacy ever! Been in line for 30 minutes with two people in front of me. Prescription that was Called in three hours ago still not filled

The pharmacy must ALWAYS be understaffed because calling in or coming is always a challenge with the wait times. When you do connect with the pharmacy staff - it seems there are quite frantic too!

The mediocre rating is owing to its Pharmacy which has been perpetually understaffed in the five years I have used it. Ive moved most of my prescription business to CVS on Willow Rd. Still worth it for groceries and OTC items.

WORST PHARMACY EXPERIENCE EVERI was here today 3/19/2018 around 9:30PM.I walked out thinking even I can be a pharmacist if I consulted customers that way. I was there to get some meds advice for my poor father whos been sufferring from severe flu. I explained the type of meds hes been taking and other symptoms so to help the pharmacist better figure out what meds he can or cant take together and help me choose. Why spend money to get a degree when you can tell your customer “check the active ingredients yourself and if both have the same ingredients dont take them together”????? I mean isn’t that why pharmacists are there to work? My question was as simple as can this be taken with nyquil. Lol. Not helpful at all. No dosage info nor exact name of the ingredients provided.They weren’t busy. No one behind or front of me waiting. Though I had to wait for the pharm tech girl to finish talking to her friend visiting at work promising to work out with the friend on thursday night only to be treated like i had interrupted her conversation with her dearest friend.I spent about twenty minutes Googling if certain combination of meds can be taken together or not all by myself!!!!!Seriously ppl, DONT GO HERE GO TO OTHER PHARMACY.

Worst Walgreens...Racist and rude...pharmacist is unprofessional and rude and cant keep his ego in check to provide customer service. Store manager hung up on me when i tried to complain. Stay away from this business at all cost.

Prompt service on filling prescriptions

Horrible service today. I auto refilled a prescription on Sunday - this is Tuesday - I called the pharmacy this morning and have been on hold with them for ONE HOUR!!!!! Get with it! This is beyond massive failures!
