Awesome the guys and girls always helpful did my Dodge Ram 2500 brakes all around calipers ceramic pads and rotors had all delivered to the Norwich store Bill and everyone and returned the caliper cores had the credit in 12 hrs,Thanks to all U need service keep them in business!

I went to advanced auto yesterday and asked one of the representatives to come out to view my vehicle to ensure that I get the correct part, however, the representative asked me to wait until his coworker get back up front because he went to get a part for a customer so I waited about 10 minutes. When the other representative got back I figured that maybe I should ask him since the original one I asked was now answering a call. The one I asked appeared very lazy and stated that he was sorry that we cant do that at the time. The first advanced auto ever. Norwich advanced auto is definitely on another planet I responded by saying ok well Ill go to OReillys up the street. His response was ok. Lazy guy.He had a different color shirt on mightve been a lazy manager.

I will never return here again. Tried to return a product a couple weeks after the 90 day return policy and they wouldnt accept it while there is a global pandemic where everything is shut down!!!! Never shopped for car parts anywhere else now they lost a lifelong customer!!

Poor Customer Service, Jaqueline, Steve, Leslie, were all present. I went in to get some caps for tire valves, Steve wasn’t present until later, But, The ladies were, Apparently it took both employees to look up a part, I politely excused myself and asked what section could I find the caps in, Jaqueline responded and pointed, Ok.. I went back to front to purchase, After about what felt like ten minutes of waiting, both ladies walked back up from back and went straight to computer, not even acknowledging the fact I had been waiting to be checked out, Steve walks in with a white gentleman who seemed to be getting serviced, whom btw was in observance of their actions, I stated this cause he politely said excuse me, and apologize because he was rung out first, Steve only informed me that someone would be right with me, But he instead went and found whatever the man wanted and rung him first, I thought it was rude on All staff behavior because obviously I was standing and awaiting to be helped and it took for an outsider to be observance of their behavior and apologize to me, I stated to the customer, well at least your sorry but I truly don’t think AAP employees even realize their attitude or actions in what just occurred, That’s how much they mist get away with this, Cause to them they didn’t realize or thought this kind of behavior would go unnoticed ...Customer Service should be priority and not overlooked. I will not be returning to this location because of this. Do better or give a training on Customer Service and how to acknowledge and treat others, So very rude.

The sign on the front of their door demands that you were a face mask or you cant come in. So I go back out to my car to find a mask, put it on, and come back in just to find that not a single one of the employees are wearing a mask. then as Im leaving theyre all outside standing within six feet of each other with no masks, chatting it up and smoking.

Of all the chain places next to each other in Westerly, I find myself going here. They installed a battery for me for free. Not everyone will do that. I also like Napa and Auto Zone, but usually I tend to go to Advanced.

Wonderful staff and well kept building and interior. Excellent membership program and a convenient online order - pick up in-store option makes it quick to shop. However, it is often understaffed and lines are almost constant here - it takes 20 minutes to check out in what shouldve been 5.

I purchased an alternator at the Norwich, CT store last week and installed it. The first time I turned on my headlights the charge or battery light came on. I then called the store to make sure they would have a new one on hand and they were nice enough to at least do that. When I went to the store with the part and my receipt I was told it had to fail their test for them to replace it. I dont think they put a load on it when they test it because they said it was good. I checked it with a voltmeter myself on the car and the voltage drops out when there is a load like the headlights on it. I also checked the belt tension. I had to show them a video of my charge light on and then settle for a lesser 90 day warranty for them to exchange it. I installed the second one and viola....problem solved. I have installed at least 50 alternators in my day and have never had a problem like this. I will never buy a major part at Advanced again. The only redeeming quality was their staff who did what they could while bound by company policy.

I gave 1 star so I could make sure this is seen.....this advanced auto is by far the slowest ever. And common sense is completely lacking here as well. I just left there after picking up rotors that I paid for online. During my almost 45 minute wait. I watched a line form, 1 person leave, and 1 person take a call that lasted almost 20 minutes and the person on the other end didnt even buy anything all while the young lady employee is trying to get through the line by herself and failing at it. Every time I call advanced I get put on hold......wondering what made the person who called tonight so damn special when they were quite busy.

We discovered that a three year warranty on a battery was void, since a replacement was accepted after the battery wouldnt hold a charge. The replacement battery only has a ninety day warranty. Each battery couldnt hold a charge after less than a year.

If you don’t have the time to order a part online and you live in this area your selections are: Here, O’Reily’s, Autozone, and Napa. I have been to all except Napa so I can’t speak to them. However, I strongly suggest Advanced Auto Parts. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most staff are prior mechanics and know what they are talking about. The part selection is great— they have up-to-date higher quality parts for the same price (if not cheaper) than alternatives (except I can’t say for sure about Napa). This store is also decent sized with plenty of parking available.

Dear Advanced Auto IT Dept...set each workstation so they can print to any printer...then train employees. Frustrating for customers, very frustrating for employees. Ive seen it at so many stores. Ended up leaving without slip on too many occasions too.
