With a no pressure attitude regarding diagnostic testing and repairs on my Mini Cooper I can honestly say I am completely satisfied with the results. I had a High Pressure Fuel Pump installed, diagnosis of an oil leak and subsequent repair, and an oil change done here. The mechanics who worked on my car (Brandon) went above and beyond. Very disappointing. Wile Motorsport in Walpole recommended me to Larin after I started getting vibrations while braking on the highway. I had a similar issue the previous year, the dealership replaced the brakes & rotors but the vibrations came back. I asked Wile for a recommendation so the dealership wouldn’t rip me off again. Larin said the same brakes and rotors needed to be replaced, which I thought was strange. They did the work and charged me $2400. The vibrations came back within 24 hours. Feels like I got ripped off twice.

I recently did business with Larin which unfortunately involved a pretty severe diagnosis requiring a new engine in my mothers Volvo. I drive an old Japanese import that is not easy to service at a normal shop. After asking around and talking with fellow enthusiasts the most consistent name that came up was Larin Automotive, so I thought I would give them a shot. From the moment I called Larin Automotive I felt like I was in good hands. When I got to the shop for them to inspect the car I got to meet the staff, who in my opinion are a wonderful group of professionals. You can see from the way they work that they have a real passion for what they do and that the quality of their work is paramount.They took almost three hours and covered every single part of the car, they took photos, wrote notes on what should be taken care of immediately and what could wait for later. I received a pdf that outlined the entire check-up. Once the car was there for some of the work that they had outlined, they called me with updates and helped me with making the right decisions. Unlike other shops I never once felt like I was being taken advantage of, I could see that there were plenty of items on that list that they could have pushed to make a profit off of, but instead they told me not to worry about it.I highly recommend Larin Automotive for any type of work that you are planning on doing. From maintenance to race prep. Its one thing to have a group of competent mechanics but at Larin they dont just know what they are doing, they care about what comes out of the shop. I would highly recommend and even more so if you have Maxcare extended warranty. Jeep Compass need to have heat/AC repair done and they were able to do it and it was covered under the plan. Their appointments maybe two weeks out but worth the wait. Quality repair and quality communications from Alyssa who runs the appointments and billing. I would recommend to family and friends and would go back for any future repairs.

What a find!!! This team is the crema de la crema of mechanics. They are honest and professional; Brandan is a doctor for cars and Alyssa in the office is so kind and communicative. They figure out the most challenging of issues, from a 35 year old landcruiser to a 15 year old Mercedes they are able to accurately diagnose and repair, amazing! Did I mention how ridiculously affordable? This isn’t some typical foreign car repair; this is quality work at the most honest price. They even follow up a few days later to check in on the car... the best. Check them out if you haven’t already.

I had driven and walked by Larin Automotive countless times and never really gave them much thought. My wifes Nissan developed a strange surging that occurred essentially only in the afternoon and only after driving for some distance. The team at Larin diagnosed this strange behavior, took corrective action, and the problem is no longer a daily occurrence.While her car was in for service she drove my Acura and she mentioned the Air Conditioning wasnt particularly good. I decided to bring it to Larin. They diagnosed the issue (a leak in the rear A/C) and ordered the parts. I brought it back when the parts arrived and it was fixed and working perfectly in one day, at the cost quoted, which was certainly reasonable.There is no question that one or both of those vehicles will be back at Larin in the future when other repair work is required. The team is professional, keeps you informed via text, email and phone, and seems to do quality work at a fair price. I wholeheartedly recommend them for you service needs.Update: Since that service work I have had additional work performed on my car and my wifes and Larin continues to be an outstanding automotive service provider. Do not hesitate to use them.

I called Larins this morning to see if they could take a look at a loose bumper that I had after making a cross country trip from California. Zeke let me know that I could bring it in later that afternoon and they would take a look at it. I was in and out after 20 minutes. They put the bumper back in place and secured it free of charge. The past few weeks have been an absolute nightmare and this really made my day. I know where I will be taking my car for any service needs that arise. Bought my MINI Cooper Clubman from Larin, and had an awesome experience! I found them to be super honest and patient and I enjoyed every interaction that I had with them--especially with Ronnie, who seems to be their main sales guy. Not pushy, just patient and very fair in responding to my many many questions! By the time I was ready to do the deal, I had utmost confidence that I knew everything that there was to know about this car. They really bent over backwards to accommodate me, like, when I pointed out that one of gas strut / supports for the two rear barn doors was going, they simply had them both replaced--no charge! Even AFTER the deal was done, and I came back to pick up the car and noticed a small dent that I hadnt seen before, Ronnie ordered up a Ding Doctor to come out and fix it! Just awesome customer service--far beyond what I would have expected. They definitely get my highest recommendation!

Larin Automotive is one of those rare shops that has integrity and pride in what they do. My credit is not the greatest but they worked with me tirelessly to get me into a used car. They did maintenance on the car before selling it, such as new brakes all around. One of the brake light housings (BMW, expensive LED setup) broke within a few days of me taking ownership and they replaced it same day I reported it (I have the extended warranty but for a shop to get me in so fast was good).My salesman (Bob) was wonderful to deal with as well. The communication is outstanding: great instructions with pictures and options you can select. When I picked up my Van, I was so impressed by their beautiful work. Because it is winter, I cannot test the AC, anything else are perfect, like nothing happened.  Equally importantly, the cost is very reasonable.

They were able to prioritize the repairs needed for us in short order and promptly fixed the most critical ones. I have been taking our vehicles to Larin Auto for a few years now and highly recommend their service. I loved my 2004 Honda CRV with 91,000 miles, and planned to drive it to 200,000 miles at least. But it had been on highly-salted roads in upstate New York for most of its life, and a lot started going wrong with it the last couple of years. When the brakes stopped working I took it to Larin. I asked them to diagnose all the problems that were imminent. Alissa and the mechanics spent a lot of time and gave me a detailed analysis of what I could expect and what it would cost. This decided me it was time to give up my car and I donated it to WCRB. I trust the integrity and competence of the personnel at Larin Automotive, plus they are really nice people! I have been a customer at Larin Automotive for about 3 years to have maintenance and repairs done on my 99 BMW M3 convertible and 2013 BMW 328i XDrive Victor, Brandon, Alex and the rest of the staff at Larin are true professionals and real car guys. I have to admit that I am particular about maintenance and repairs on my cars especially the nearly 20 year old M3 and I have never been disappointed by any work done by Larin Automotive. They always go out of their way to explain what repairs need to be done and why, with a detailed course of action without trying to up sell more than what is required.My initial experience with them was a problem with a vibration which seemed to be coming from the front end of the M3 and an oil change. Victor took the car out to test drive looking for the source of the vibration. He was very thorough as he checked the tires and wheels, suspension components and ultimately found the problem to be a broken muffler support. He showed me what the problem was, explained how I could simply fix it myself, did the oil change and sent me on my way for less than $100. No other shop would give that level of care. I highly recommend Larin Automotive to anyone.

Let’s get straight to the point, Victor is one of the most honest mechanics I have ever dealt with. Now let’s lay out the story. I’m in my 50s, I grew up relatively poor, but lacked for nothing. My brothers and I always had a car that we work on and learned on, so I understand the mechanics of an automobile. But now I’m all grown up and can afford, and frankly don’t have the time to work on my own vehicle.Last year I blew the engine in my Jeep and knew that I wanted to keep it. It’s my pride and joy! After doing a little research and considering do it myself I asked Larin Automotive to look at it and quote me a price. First off they were less expensive than the dealer and several other shops and I’ve always been comfortable with Victor “The Owner.”Let’s just say that I’m overjoyed with the experience and the money I spent. I even ended up doing a few things that I’d been meaning to do as well while he had my baby.Fast forward to today when I blew a radiator hose on my Jeep. It was a brand new hose and Victor brought me straight in and swapped it out in a couple of hours at no charge. Never gave me even a hint of gruff about it. This is a man and a shop that stand behind all of their work and back it up when push comes to shove. Most people think “honest mechanic” is an oxymoron but I can tell you I will be using Larin Automotive for as long as I own vehicles!
