I have owned a few Mercedes long term and have always taken my vehicles here after the warranty expired. Very professional service and quality work. My recent service there was on my wife’s 2014 GLK350 and she couldn’t have been more pleased. Just the day before she was looking to buy another vehicle at the dealership- now she’s happy to keep hers! We took our 1990 Mercedes E300 for diagnostic, the car was stalling and had an upper head noise. Mr. Vanderveer had it diagnosed as a lifter. A few days later we picked the car and it was worse then when we brought it in. He insisted that it will get better. After a week of driving we take the car back because it sounds really bad. The Mercedes Specialist calls us a day later and insists it is all the lifters that will need to get changed and that this will be the fix. Well guess what? We go to pick it up after it is all set and I quote his words- Every time you bring this car it sounds better when you leave it and then worse when you pick it up! Well Mr. Mercedes GURU you are the one working on it, so why tell me that?!?!Now he is confused and has no clue what is going on! He suggests we do a head job or an engine. This is great after all this time and money we have already invested - this guy is not cheap by the way, now I have to do this? I could have done that at the very beginning. This is my firs and LAST car that I will take there. Think twice - Mercedes of Westwood is just around the corner!

Peter Vanderveer has been my mechanic for many, many years. When I switched from my old Mercedes cars to a newer BMW, I was reluctant to find a BMW mechanic. He was happy to service my new car and has taken care of it as if it were his own. Peter is a fount of knowledge, an expert in his field and an honest businessman. I wouldnt take my cars anywhere else!

I finally found Vanderveer motors repair shop in Norwood, MA after checking with 4 different supposed specialists in eastern Mass. It is tough to find an independent mechanic that knows their stuff anywhere in the states. I had been trying to get parts for my classic chassis model for the past few months. These guys knew exactly what I was talking about over the phone and when I got to the shop they had the part sitting on the desk waiting for me.

I’ve a 1988 Mercedes Benz 420 SEL model I imported from Germany. I left the Mercedes parked in my driveway for 12 years while I was abroad. Because I love this car so much I chose to get it up and running but Mercedes Benz of Boston in Somerville was unable to deal with it due to lack of spareparts and technicians who depend only on diagnosis tools. A friend recommended I take it to Vanderveer Motors in Norwood. Both Peter & Sean did a lot of work changing the fuel lines, tank the whole nine yards on it etc and the Mercedes now drives like new. As long as you tell them the symptom, they’re able to pin point what and where the problem is in just a short time, tell you how much it will cost to fix it and what happens if you just let it go and you’re out of there. I’m happy with their work ethics and professionalism and most importantly I’m very happy with my Mercedes. Thank you Peter and Sean!

A sudden loud knocking noise sidelined my car that has 190K miles on it. Expected the worst :( Visited Mr Vanderveer who diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes! Fixed in a day even though parts needed replacing. I never missed one day of work. Fantastic! Thank you Vanderveer Motors..
