The manager Ron was awesome, it was a early morning call to see if they could fit me in and access the repair. Monro Auto was able to fix my car that day as well as drop me off on the construction site Im working at and pick me up at the end of the day. Im from out of town, staying in a hotel, They really stepped up to the plate on customer service.

I got a flat tire Saturday Aug 22. On my way to a long vacation, 1/3 the way there. Monro was the ONLY place still open, @ 4:45. I was graciouly met by a man Jason? not 100% on the name. He had a beard, about 30, tattoos on both arms, about 56, anyway he thankfully helped me at their last minutes before closing. Plugging my tire and letting me continue on my way to NH with no stress. Great guy and staff. Nothing but thanks to him.

My name is Michael. I had visited the Monro shop In Norwood, Ma for an oil change last week.i was very happy with the service. So impressed that I needed a new tire, so I went back to Monro to replace my tire. I dealt with Mike, and I must say he was fantastic!!!! I will recommend Monro to everyone... keep up the good work...

I got the work done from a trusted mechanics in my neighborhood at 200 dollars including oil change. This Monro location asked me over 815 dollars not any less. What a huge difference!!Also, I wanted a quick fix before my work nearby. I wouldn’t have come if the guy who answered my phone said they should be able to fix before 3pm since I could wait one more day so I have time to do it in my town. If it were to take longer, they were going to let me know. I was waiting in the nearby cafe for them to call me and update me. I called them at around 2pm and that’s what they said. Can be done by 5pm and the fee is $815.Not only they were not on top of communication and definitely trying to rip me off.

Beware, will try to up sell on things you don’t need and make it sound real bad. Stay awayTried calling you. I left message 5 days agoTold family member needed new exhaust system and will not pass inspection. Told them not to do anything and took it else where. When I took it to another place the mechanic said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the exhaust system. Car passed inspection with flying colors. I will not be wasting anymore time leaving you messages.

Monro Auto Service in Norwood provides great customer service. The techs were knowledgeable, patient and answered every question I had. Ron, Mike, and the tech J. Baez were top notch. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to receive quality service for a reasonable price.

First off, 5 stars is not enough to say about the service at this Norwood Monro. Since the time I have gone there, I have gotten free advice about the condition of my car and suggestions with no pressure to have work done. Second, I had forgot my personal items and I was quickly informed of it and all items were accounted for. Honesty it seems is true here unlike other places that we have all dealt with. Third, with a manager who is down to earth and not pushy, makes life easier. Hats off to this place.

Fantastic service from Mike Chen, dropped my car off for back brakes only.Mike checked out my car and saw that I needed front brakes also. My rotors and pads needed to be replaced. He also noticed that my oil pan was rusted out and had to be replaced immediately. He had me come into the garage to check out my car while it was on the lift and explained in detail what he needed to repair so that my car would be safe to drive.I had my car serviced not that long ago at the Toyota dealership and they never mentioned the front brakes needed to be replaced.They had just repaired the oil pan gasket.When Mike told me what the car needed, took it back to the dealership and asked why they didnt they tell me about the front brakes condition and the rusted out oil pan.They didnt have a good answer and told me they would replace the oil pan for me and only charge for the parts and labor would be free. I was quoted a few Thousand dollars for front and back brakes along with the oil pan being replaced. Went back to see Mike at Monro, and he quoted me a third of what the Toyota dealership quoted me.I had it all the work done, timely and all the work was well done.Made me a customer for life. I would recommend everyone to visit this shop and ask for MIke. He will take care of your car totally.

I have been to this place today and the mechanics does an awesome job in checking, inspecting and explaining things. I have an old car and while checking breaks, mechanics (Gerard for my car) said Everything looks good, no need to replace anything. There are very few places where mechanics are 100% honest and not trying to rip you off and this place is definitely one of them.I highly recommend this place.

I wasnt sure if I need a new tires so Mike Chen, store manager, Listen to me carefully, and agreed to have Steve, one of his employees, to look at my car. The customer service in this place is wonderful, Make was very nice, informative, and very helpful. Steve, very nice and professional, he fixed the tires on my car. Both guys went above and beyond their duties to help me even though it was late and they had to stay a little bit longer after closing to finish. Thank you!

Exceptional customer service! I went in for an inspection sticker and they were done in less than 15 minutes. Before I left I had a question on my squeaky breaks and the guy took it out for a ride and came back with his analysis on what was wrong. An oil change for two cars barely took 40 minutes. Steven, our mechanic, even checked the cars for any problems in the mean time and gave us a full report on their situation. Mike, the store manager, was also very friendly and guided us through the process efficiently.

I didnt even finish waiting in line for a appointment I set up for my exhaust. Poor lady in front of me was told for new spark plugs to be put in was $1200??? I didnt even want to wait to see what theyd try to charge me for a tailpipe to be put in. I saw the great reviews and figured Id check the place out. I worked at a Monros so I know they have exhaust in stock or can go pick it up if not but they treat the employees about the same as customers only employees get paid less than minimum wage and customers are paying $1000 for labor on a $5 spark plug. Its not the mechanics fault they just say what Monro wants to charge you. Id say theyre good for oil changes and tires maybe brakes but if you dont want high labor fees definitely look elsewhere. My Coke can patch job will have to last till I can figure something else out

Went in there yesterday to get a simple oil change and tire rotation as they have a special going on right now, took about 45minutes which is normal and they took good care of my car!

TL;DR 0/10 do not recommend. So I took my car to Monro to be fixed last Saturday. The engine light was on, and the ol gal wasnt starting right after I filled up the tank. I had some errands to run in the neighborhood, and Monro was right there, and my regular mechanic isnt open on Saturdays. I planned my whole day around it. My car was done by three, they said theyd cleared the issues with the engine and that she should start just fine now. I left 330$ poorer, believing everything was up to snuff. Was I wrong? Yes. The engine light was back on by Tuesday. I called and requested another appointment and asked if Id be charged. The man I spoke to said it depended on why the light came on. I thought to myself, Gee, if theyd done their job thoroughly they would have noticed anything untoward and notified me of the problem so it could be fixed then and there, like my usual mechanic. Either way, Im definitely not gonna pay them again, but they dont need to know that Im gonna make a stink about it. Ill wait until the appointment. I didnt get that far. I stopped to get gas on my way home today, and lo and behold, my car wouldnt start. I spent twenty minutes blocking other cars from getting gas with my hazard lights on until my car decided to start again. In the meantime I called Monro, thinking theyd have to at least do me the courtesy of towing my car for free, and I dunno, maybe doing their job right and actually fixing my car this time. Alas. I was informed that they dont have a tow truck. I could have my car towed but I would have to pay for it, and they wouldnt foot the bill even though it was their shoddy work that landed me in that position in the first place. I told them to forget it, I got my violently shuddering car to start, and we limped all the way home. Which was exciting, at least, wondering if my car was going to burst into flames on the road. At least it was raining today. The moral of the story is, dont be lazy and take your car to the garbage-boy mechanic to get fixed because you dont want to call out of work during the week to bring it to the competent mechanic up the street. Stay classy, Monro. 👌

Went in to get an inspection. The desk person with tons of tatoos down his arm was rude, obnoxious and insulting. I simply asked to be put on the wait list for a car to be inspected. He snarkily responded we cant inspect your car in your garage. He thought he was being cute I guess but it was insulting. The other staff in the area laughed. If you dont want to be ridiculed in front of others and treated like an idiot than I would suggest staying away from this place!!So, I posted this on yelp as well. They called me several times. I am impressed that they would do that. At least they care enough to follow up. Thats the good news. I am not entirely sure they understand the embarrassment I felt or the issue. I am still not going back there but at least they showed some concern

How stupid does this company think I am? I brought my car in for a check engine light, and was printed out a TSB for to.have Honda reprogram the ecu. Upon reviewing the info I was given I noticed the TSB only applies to vehicles with a manual transmission, my car is an automatic. Honda confirmed this. Im glad I stopped going to Monroe the Shop across the street is more knowledgeable.

Consumers beware!!! I got my brakes and alignment done last Friday, most sensor lights appeared on my dashboard Saturday ( check engine light, VSC light and so on). Monday my battery light along with the other lights appeared and I was stuck in a hospital parking lot with my grandmother... Three tow trucks later I brought my car back to Monroe paid for a new altinator and battety. During my rounds to return Christmas gifts since I paid almost 1,200.00 in less than a week for car repair, the sensor lights came back on. I brought the car back and a scan was done. I was told to fix the sensor problem it will be an additional 200.00. I think its more than a coincidence that my sensor was out of wack after they did the brakes and alignment. I wont blame the altinator and battery on the service but something smells fishy about that too. I told myself not to go back there before the recent series of issues but this is my breaking point. Merry Christmas to me!!!!

I made an appointment yesterday for an oil change for this morning at 8am. When I arrived to drop off my car, they couldnt find my reservation- which is fine-they made a new reservation and I was told my car would be ready by 3:00pm. I walked 30 minutes to go pick up my car and when I got there, the person at the desk couldnt find my keys. Turns out they forgot about my car and he said sorry we were so busy we didnt get to it yet. That was it- no offer to do it right away, no more apologies. How long could an oil change possibly take? Valvoline can do it in 10 minutes- how can it take more than 8 hours to get to an oil change? I will never go to this location again
