I dont write reviews often, but this visit was one of the best!!I left my laptop on overnight and it shutdown on me the next day. I plugged in my charger but it didnt work. I dont know what was wrong with my laptop. I went to a nearby store by my house and the price that they told me is crazy high!! I was devastated, I really needed my laptop to be fixed that week.Luckily, my friend recommended me this place and I love it! I went in late afternoon. I was greeted warmly. The owner, Dave, was really helpful. I was able to hear back from them on the same day. Dave called me to tell me what was the problem and different options to fix it with reasonable charges. It was not expensive at all! I was able to save $300!! It was fixed in 2 days! Highly recommended

Not satisfied with my visit. I came in with my MacBook due to display issues and the guy was on the phone the whole time. I understood if it was a business call, but he asked me what I wanted while he was still on the phone so I explained to him what my issue was. He opened up my computer, hardly glanced at it and said “your repairs are going to be 600 dollars. I suggest getting a new computer”. Throughout my whole visit, the guy was on the phone. I ended up taking my laptop to Apple and got better customer service.

I brought my work computer into be repaired and they did an amazing job. The computer looks good as new. I am very satisfied with their work. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and extremely kind. I am very grateful.

Great service. My computer crashed and the staff was able to fix it within a reasonable time/price. The staff was very knowledgeable and professional. I would not hesitate to come back here for any future computer issues.

Very friendly and helpful. I went to the store in the morning before I went to work. My laptop had a black screen and some water damage on the left side of the keyboard. All my important data was inside and I really wanted to save my laptop. I bought it a year ago and I use it at work all the time. The technician first said to do a check on it first and the cost is really cheap compared to other places in my area. He called me the next day to tell me that it can be saved. They explained everything and gave me some options to choose from. The whole trip to the store was great, I was really happy that they could save my laptop at a great price! I go there sometimes for printing too.

Owner acted as if he did not understand English to over charge he was agressive in asking to keep my computer after stating that he needs a minimum of 3 days. Just to give me quote.I stated my issues and concerns and nothing... I did not feel comfortable leaving my computer for 3 days for a quote.

I am very happy with the prompt diagnosis and fair pricing at Oak Park-Chicago Computer Club. I was treated very well by staff who made sure I understood my options. Even though my computer was toast, they found a reasonable replacement and I went home happy

These people are not experienced. They use blanket fixes that charge you more for products that cost fraction of the price. Its lazy and unprofessional. If a chip is broken, instead of purchasing the $1 chip and soldering it, they force you to buy a new motherboard. This is the equivilant of getting tier 1 support. Im only giving this a two star because they were decent enough to give me a refund on this subpar service.

I brought in my laptop because it kept crashing. I paid $39 for diagnostic analysis and was told it was a lot of spyware and malware crashing my computer. Despite having two security systems, I was told nothing was 100 percent. So I paid $110 more to have it fixed. They said theyd fix it and call in a few hours. Never happened. I called several times. It took the entire day for the laptop to supposedly be fixed. I took it home and it immediately started crashing. I write for a living and my laptop is vital to me. Having it gone for an entire day and then not be fixed is really a problem. I am taking it back to be fixed but it should have been repaired the first time.

It could have been 5stars, but it’s only one :(I called for a quote and was told I need to pay $39 for “diagnostic”.I am sorry, I don’t need diagnostic. I know what is wrong with my computer. I need to know how much you are asking to fix it. Then, I can make a decision if I’d like you to do the job for me.I am taking my business elsewhere!

Chicago Computer Club was very patient with me (Im a beginner!) and went above board to teach me everything I need to know to get started. I will always bring my business to CCC in Oak Park!

This place is customer friendly, they sold me a new computer. It helps me sleep at night. When Im too tired after work. I dont have to worry about major clean ups. Although I do what I can. The home member services provided by Chicago Computer CLub gives me peace of mind so that I dont make unnecessary purchases, nor do I have to worry if my computer is safe. If Any thing goes wrong they spot the problem and have helped me live a problem free life through the internet with their remote support. where have you been all my life?

I bought a chinese usb wifi card here for some 30 dollars even though it sells for about 5 dollars on ebay because i needed it urgently, it fell apart the day i used it, i took it back with receipt and the store refused to do a return only an exchange. Go somewhere that cares, is my advice: not here.

Dropped off an old hard drive to have photos transferred. They disposed of the Hard drive without even so much as a phone call to me. My photos are gone. They also hung up on me when I was asking for an explanation as to why they thought it was ok to get rid of it without calling me. Horrible!

It was very fast and easy. The prices are reasonable as well.

I recently brought my laptop to them, explained that it kept shutting on and off, giving me a black screen in that process I also wanted some malware erased so, I could use google chrome, all was supposedly fixed, 4 days later my laptop cuts off again, it is explained to me that it wasnt the original problem but that the motherboard was dead. Now I spent over $200 to get that issue fixed and it was originally always the motherboard. I cant even use the laptop anymore. the 1st thing im told by Chicago Cpu club is that they will sell me one of there laptops USED laptops or new ones at a discounted price.... $20 off new ones $50 off. I personally feel if your gonna be fair at least the price for fixing the black screen shouldve been added to the price of there laptops if you truly want to be fair because there original diagnosis wasnt accurate which cost me $$$, time and now I still have no laptop, Im not writing the review to bash the company, im writing this because I feel I was cheated out of $200 plus dollars with no way of having what I originally wanted, which was my laptop fixed... The good thing is im now typing this dislike on my new laptop.... But my suggestion is before u let someone fix your computer get 2 or 3 opinions before you settle and pay, you may be sucked in to keep coming outta pocket.... I will also say that the associate has offered to transfer all my harddrive data to my extended harddrive so its not a total lost but $230 is $230 thats almost half for another brand new laptop....

My computer has virus problem, the tech guys fixed it in 1 days with great service and good price. I recommend to anyone who has computer problem or question, go to chicago computer club at oak park store.
