They seem to post very good offers that dont exist on their website and through other car listing services. I didnt need to get fished here for an offer that didnt exist. Im busy. I dont want to work with people who use tactics like this to get customers. If theres a great deal on the website, dont believe it. The car is probably not there. Corporate might want to take a look at this practice because its a great way to alienate new customers looking for a car brand they might trust.
Last minute repair needed for a planned road trip. Min & Alex were fantastic getting the parts expedited for me. They were very responsive, easy to work with and kept me up to date. I will definitely make this my go-to service department.
Exceptional service and communication. The UVO system in my new 2021 Kia wouldnt activate. It took a day or two but Kameron and Team figured it out! In the meantime, they checked my tires and washed the car. I appreciate their professionalism and will definitely go back should anything else arise.

Dropped off my 2014 Kia Soul for recall maintenance. I made my appointment online which was seamless. When I dropped off the car they were very professional and had specific protocols for covid protection. I felt very comfortable dropping off and picking up my vehicle. I recommend their services.

I love this place. Ive taken my car in for maintenance at all of the Kia dealerships in the east bay and Oakland Kia is the only one that doesnt try to trick me into getting unecessary work done. Everyone is always so nice and they have always been done with the work ahead of schedule.
I want to rate Kia Service shop a 5/5 because of two wonderful people who I always work with Cameron & Genesis, they are wonderful people, while working them they are always pleasant to talk to and they always informed me whats going on with my vehicle. Just wanted to leave this review for them and there service shop because unfortunately Ill be leaving the Kia family. Keep up the work you guys! I highly appreciated what you guys do.
From start to finish, my experience with Oakland Kia was a great one. Sammy Soriano, my salesperson, worked closely with his manager to search all of the inventory within the San Francisco Bay area to find EXACTLY the car I wanted. They went above and beyond. I appreciated their sincerity and desire to give the best customer experience.I never felt pressured in the schmooze auto salesman sort of way. Instead I felt respected and was given the right amount of time to think before my purchase. Speaking of purchase, It was great. It only took 30min to sign all of the paperwork and drive out the door with my new 2017 Kia Sportage SX. I would highly recommend them to other people.

The staff is nice and they have a nice waiting room and will pay for your uber home. However, they recommended a two thousand dollar repair which was shocking since my car seemed to be working perfectly fine. I took the car to a different shop who said the repair was totally unnecessary and not worth doing. So probably worth being careful if they suggest big repairs you didnt originally come in for...
Dont buy your next Mitsubishi here with plans of utilizing their service center. Any other bay area Mit. dealership will serve you much better.We live in San Francisco bought our 2nd (upgraded) Mit.Outlander SE here for a good price for an early returned leased vehicle with under 3500K miles.We have done a majority of major service maintainace here although we have plenty of other options much closer. We consider ourselves loyal customers. We have been going back since we bought car 6 years ago.Was there about a 2 weeks ago for approx. 35K service check and maintainace. Paid over $300+ utiziling one of their discount coupons. Decent deal..Returned today to get a 2nd wireless key programmed for $100 and get my middle glove compartment fixed by repairing a couple of loose screws from hinge part. Nothing broken just loose screwsAnyway, I arrived and before any work commenced, I notice I left my wallet at home. Had early 8am appointment so forgot to grab it on way out- half asleep. Asked if they could use credit card on file from very recent transaction (card in my name) or if I could call home and have one read back. No go on either. Asked if could use PayPal or Vemno but they only accept Apple Pay as alternative. OK- I get this BUT where is the reciprical loyalty???This after my last appointment where they somehow forgot to fix my break lights after I specifically asked them to repair since I had been stopped by highway patrol for no back lights earlier in week. Luckily I only got a verbal to fix it.But wait, I luckily noticed NOT fixed as car was being returned to me. At first the car service guy try to put on me because I called in late. Then after some back in a forth, that could not reach me for approving the parts and service time- under $16. YET they stated in their final repair bill and statement that back lights were inspected and FIXED! Be glad to share documentation. So I got charged again but I paid it since much cheaper than auto fix it ticket and time spent going to vehicle court. My 6 year loyalty being repaid by nickled and dimed???To further insult, they let me know that putting the 2 or 3 screws back may have some cost since no longer under warranty. Really?They also gave some grief because I called back later, but several days before my scheduled appointment to get factory recall notice repair fixed - the same notice they initially sent to me!!! Why not automatically include this since safety issue for fixing rear brakes? They just seemed very annoyed with me that I messed with their service schedule and profiting.Buy somewhere else as the service department is also key and important component of this on-going deal. Heck, I would buy a car online before going back to Oakland Mitsubishi.There is one service manager that has been there too long and has a Napaleon ego & stature. Good luck on your next Mitsubishi purchase. Think very hard before buying here.Marco
Nice people, but sadly they didnt have the part required in stock, thereby keeping me from usage of my car for the three anticipated days to receive the ordered part. A part in my opinion that shouldve been readily at hand for a dealership of the specific car. Leaving without three day use of my otherwise well running car, that remains in my possession is poor service in my opinion, even though the people were super nice.
I just took my car here for some issues and some recalls. Here is my experience in detailTL;DR - Take your car somewhere else if you can. Front desk guy has zero customer service skills, but mechanics seem to have fixed the recalls. But got the car back dirty.First the good. They resolved some of the issues I had. So the mechanics seem to know what theyre doing.Now the bad. Honestly, if you can, take your KIA somewhere else. The issues mostly concern the guy who mans the front desk, not the woman. He honestly has no idea how to talk to customers, dont think hes purposefully rude or obnoxious. First issue was even getting someone to answer the phone or return my calls to setup a time. Then, when he answered my call, he asked what kind of service I wanted. After I told him I had some recalls, and the issues, I informed him I didnt need an oil change. Ok, well thats why I asked you what kind of service you wanted. Alright, sorry, fine.I drop off the car. He refuses to tell me if my infotainment system has a software upgrade without me paying the $180 diagnostic fee because its out of warranty. I even asked if he could just look up when the last update was released, then I can pay to have it updated but he refused. Its ridiculous to ask me to pay $180 to just see if it even needs an update. Then I tell him the transmission starts slipping badly in sport mode after 10-15 minutes of driving. His response: Oh but KIA transmissions are bullet proof. So Im lying? No idea why he wants to argue about this. I give up, drop my car off and leave.Then the same guy takes my car for a test drive to isolate the three issues. He takes the car for a drive, and supposedly cant hear the loud grinding noise from the engine bay thats been there for weeks and that everyone who has ridden in my car has commented about. Then, he cant make the transmission slip. Apparently, he cant find ANYTHING wrong with my car. This is especially hard to believe because my rear driver side tire has a flat spot due to a recent flat. The car violently shakes on the freeway under 85 mph. He said he took my car on the freeway, but didnt notice the violent shaking? Yea, again hard to believe.Next day, he tells me that they have to keep the car for some parts for 4-5 days, doesnt offer a loaner. I manage to get one. After all is done, I finally get my car back. The grinding from the engine bay is magically gone, so they obviously fixed it, either before he took it for a test drive or after. Who knows. They left my car with dirt on the front driver side sills and passenger floors, clear shoe prints.So, the actual work on the cars recalls seems to be fine. But basically between the front desk guy refuting everything I said, his lack of customer service, and getting the car back dirty, best to go somewhere else if you can.
This is my second service with Oakland Kia. They are heave send. I drive the K900 not many service areas for the car. I was having to go to Concord for the service for almost 3 years. Oakland has been great to me, I work right here in downtown area. 😄😃😁💜🧡💛💚💙💗

Worst customer service. Unable to call the service department. Took many tries and finally had my car serviced here for a recall. They drilled random holes and had many big scratches all over my dashboard. Will not come back to this place ever! AVOID this place like the plague. If you have to service your car here, make sure to take some pictures of your car first. The pictures will help when you sue for damages! Beware of their workmanship. You have been warned!
