My husband and I had an incredible experience on purchasing our 2022 Lexus RX 350 at Lexus of Coliseum Oakland. Brent Johnson and Rod Helaire did a very good job in helping us. Let me first start off by saying that Brent was AMAZING!! IF I decide to purchase a vehicle from these crooks, it would solely be to give him a sale. I was interested in a 2017 Lexus RX 350 F. Sport. The vehicle was listed at $33,588. Upon test driving, the vehicle drove great! However, there was a pretty decent size visible chip in the windshield along with other small chips that I could feel with my hand. In addition, there is a crack on the front fender, and the clamp is broken so it is not completely secured. Please keep in mind that this is a CPO vehicle. Here is where I became completely flabbergasted! They were unwilling to fix anything or lower the price of the vehicle; and told me if they fix the windshield, they would raise the price of the vehicle $1300. I priced a windshield, it was $548. To add insult to injury, I was doing a search today, and they raised the price of the vehicle $1897. Such a joke! The manager (I am assuming) came out with a real nasty attitude from the very beginning. I hope they at least fixed the problems if they raised the price. I have attached photos of the price increase 😒

My experience at this dealership was amazing! From the moment I got there, I felt extremely welcomed. I originally came by to test drive and get some quotes for SUVs I was interested in. I didn’t expect to leave with a brand new vehicle but the amazing people at this dealership brought that idea to life. Chimgee Shatar was extremely patient with me throughout the entire experience. Her personality was inviting and calming. She was very knowledgeable of all features offered for all of the cars we viewed. She was very attentive to my wants without being pushy or overbearing. I could tell she really wanted to me leave with a car that I liked and at a good price. I ended up being there for a really long time and she provided plenty of snack and drink for my daughter and I. She was very understanding about my schedule with my young daughter, she even came with me to pick her up in the middle of us working on the numbers for my vehicle. The entire office helped keep an eye on my daughter when she fell asleep on the lobby which warmed my heart. First week of school was a lot on her lol. The owner even came out and gave me some tips on how to improve my credit and made it all seem so simple. The whole experience was refreshing and I feel like my daughter and I were very well taken care of. By the end of the visit I left with a brand new 2021 Lexus NX 300. I made an appointment to test drive a used NX 300 online and received a call from the dealership shortly after indicating my interest. I arrived around 10AM on a Friday morning and was greeted immediately. Our test drive was with Tom Tang, who was great. He was helpful in explaining the different features of the car and had a great rapport with my parents (who accompanied me with the test drive). I had test driven the 2021 model at another dealership, but wasnt briefed on the features at that time so it was nice to have Tom explain most of the safety and security features of the car.Overall, I had a great experience with Coliseum Lexus of Oakland. There is nothing we both hate more than buying a car. Had a great experience until we got ready to sign for the car. Finance manager told my Son he was declined from his credit union, and he could give him a better interest rate with Lexus financial. After he put the deal together he added all these warranties to the car and when I declined he raised the interest rate and said you cant get nothing for free. At this time I was furious and told my Son lets go and the finance manager changed the interest rate back to what he promised. I felt he was game playing to sale us more warranties. Beware of this finance manager name Ray, he will add more to your purchase without you knowing. I just want people to be honest in life and know that you never should have to try to cheat people. Treat people with respect and youll go far in life.

I am still waiting for my full refund that was promised to me by Sayed in Finance over 2 months ago! And to this day, theres no refund and I have to keep emailing and chasing them for my refund. The follow up is very non-existent, the only time I would hear back from Sayed is when I would send an email or call with my frustrations or ask for upper management (GM is on leave). I do not recommend buying your car here, they promise things they cannot deliver. Very dissatisfied customer! If negative 1 star is a rating option, thats what I would rate them.

I just bought my very first Lexus and I love it! I was given 5-star treatment throughout the whole experience. Needed to purchase a car in very short time. Went through Costco membership program and was matched up with Coliseum Lexus of Oakland.On Wednesday, I submitted my information and received a call back within an hour from Johnny Huang. He located the car I was looking for, I was in a unique situation and he was able to find another car that fit my budget and quickly turned everything ready. Went to test drive the car after work and everything seemed good.On Thursday, I went back to finalize the purchase. Johnny had the vehicle ready to go, washed and full tank of gas. I wanted to share our fantastic buying experience with you so you are aware of your employees performance.On May 24 my wife inquired about a white RX350 listed on your dealership website. Internet Sales Specialist Bibek Shrestha promptly reached out to her to discuss the vehicle. He informed her it was still pending assembly with a late June/July build date, but would hold the vehicle if we wanted it. She asked for your best price and was quoted $52219 before rebate. My wife passed the info on to me and I began corresponding with Bibek.Bibek sent a preliminary Monroney sticker to us and said he would keep us informed of the progress. For the next month and a half he called and texted frequently, reassuring us the vehicle was earmarked for us and not to worry. As the status changed (scheduled build date, VIN #, shipping date, etc.), he kept us in the loop. This was comforting as several dealerships would sell similarly equipped cars fairly quickly.We learned the car would most likely land this week, and were told as soon as it arrived (Wednesday 7/14). Yesterday my wife and I took a 6:15am train from Fresno and Bibeks arranged for his partner, Internet Sales Specialist Johnny Huang, to pick us up at the train station. Johnny took care of us during the paperwork preparation and did the handoff to Finance Manager Carol Wong. Coliseum Lexus of Oakland is near and dear to my heart. Ive purchased 4 cars from this dealership and spent many years receiving great service. Brent Johnson is a world class salesman and represents the Lexus brand and this dealership with class, honesty and style. BUT>>>Unfortunately the Coliseum Lexus Service department is no longer representative of high quality of service that it once was and still should be. I would either steer clear or go in with low expectations.My recent experience was less than good. I had originally called and spoke with Jaime Padilla to discuss having transmission service. Jaime was great and scheduled an appointment and told me the service would likely be $250. Upon arriving at the dealership I was informed that my car was due for 100K mile service. I know that that service is generally ~$1,000. However I was presented with 3 options and the only option that offered the transmission service was the Platinum service (~$2,500). I bit the bullet and while expensive, the techs did an excellent job.A poor customer experience can destroy the amazing work that goes on behind the scenes. Real talk: Coliseum Lexus provided me with the worst customer experience Ive received at a dealership hands down. Evidence that one good service adviser cant prop up an entire dealership. As mentioned previously, Ive purchased four cars from these folks and had countless services experiences over the years. Heres the experience:Saturday I took the car in and was told that I could likely get the car later that day. When I opted for the Platinum service, I was told the car would be ready Monday afternoon. Throughout the day Saturday my service advisor kept me up to date on findings with my car. They identified that brake pads had to be replaced. I gave the the green light (even though dealer pricing is significantly higher than any wheel/brake shop).Monday afternoon I was notified that they would need the car an extra day and would be ready early afternoon Tuesday.Tuesday, I attempted to contact my service advisor, but received no updates or returned callsWednesday I was informed were good to go. I went to the dealership at approx. 1PM. My service advisor was not around and the other service advisors were helping other folks. So, I went to the service desk. After waiting a few minutes, I rang the bell (that was tucked behind the service window) and waited a few more mins. I was approached by an attendant who asked what do you want? I explained that I was here to pay my bill and pick up my car. She replied talk to your service adviser. I explained that my service advisor was not available. She asked for my name and took off. I waited 10 mins and when she didnt return, I went to find any other service advisor. Unfortunately, there were no service advisors on the floor or in their offices at that time. I had now been at the dealership for about an hour and had leave for an afternoon meeting.Later Wednesday afternoon I called to speak with the Manager RON FORTT. He would not take my call. Later I heard from my service adviser who was very apologetic and surprised at what had happened. I asked him to share my experience with RON FORTT and to please have him return my call. He agreed and also offered to send someone over to deliver my car the following day. My car was delivered as promised thanks to Jaime Padilla!In the end, I have my car back and the work was done well. Unfortunately the Coliseum Lexus customer experience is need of service!RON FORTT apparently can not be bothered and doesnt want to be distracted by Coliseum Lexus customers.UPDATE: as of 7/18/21 NO Contact despite several attempts. In fairness about a week ago I was contacted by Brent Johnson and let him know I was boarding a flight in one hour and would not be available to speak with anyone. About 2 hours later Ron Fortt did leave me a message (probably knowing I would not be available). I did return the call and never heard back. This is the new normal folks!

I had been in touch for a couple of weeks prior to the car coming into the inventory. The whole car buying experience was amazing and hassle free. We so happy and graceful to share with all of you our happiness. Tom Tang was the salesman we met at Coliseum Lexus of Oakland. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and very informative. After listening of what we were looking for, he helped us to select RX-350 vehicles as available. He explained in details the differences of which of type of SUV has to offers. Tom listened and responded to our inquiries by providing pros and cons. Never did he attempt to sway us in purchasing. It took approximately 5 hours and we finally found an SUV that we like best and so happy that we bought it.

We recently leased a 2020 Lexus ES350 from Coliseum Lexus of Oakland and I love it. The experience from start to finish was extremely pleasant. Sam T. was our sales rep and he answered all my questions. He was giving me updates throughout the process when it came time to finance. Although the wait time was longer than anticipated, it was understandable there were others purchasing a vehicle and there were limited financing managers available at the time.
