I really like this store. So many hair options for braiding hair. Lots of ombré colors, rainbows, pastels. You can find whatever you need.It is sometimes hard to find what you’re looking for if you want a very specific product. But if the staff is nearby, most of the time they ask you if you need help. I’ve also had to ask for help finding something a few times. They’re all really nice and know where to find things in the store.Good hair care products here as well. Reasonably priced too.

Why is it when you step in these Beauty Supply Stores 90% of them need to hire a Interior Designer to help them with merchandising. Perhaps if they used the Department Store approach it would be a better experience. Overall its really hard to find what your looking for.

Weve visited this location 3 times since last year and I seriously dislike this store, the vibe is all levels of wrong. The staff just looks at you. They dont greet you, ask if you need help or thank you for your business. So why would I shop there? My teenage daughters are going through a fake hair stage and this store was recommended since we dont have anything similar in Dublin. I have recently learned about a black owned beauty supply in Oakland so the next time my girls want braiding hair, well be taking our business ther - where it at least makes sense.

Always have what I need in abundance and theyre very helpful when Im all turned around trying to find what Im looking for (because there is SO MUCH inventory.) Considering how much they have in stock they keep it very neat and tidy in there

This is my personal favorite. Its the best prices in the area and the huge variety can be overwhelming but this store is so maintained and organized its not an issue finding anything. The gentleman who works on the floor knows his hair. Just with a glance he was able to pick the perfect color that Id been unable to find anywhere else.

I dont like to post bad reviews if I dont have to. Horrible and not so inviting experience. I left as soon as I walked in. This isnt a black owned business but they use black and brown imagery to make you believe it is. Do not be fooled! Theres a shorter woman whos not friendly and it totally turned me off. I purchased a few items and left. I plan to spend my money elsewhere. Please improve!

Im rarely in Oakland but yesterday I needed to find a hair solution for my mother in law. I met the nicest lady, Amanda. She works in the wig department. I told her what I was looking for and she was helpful, kind and was really great to work with. I will always appreciate her kindness. Ladies, if you enjoy working with a kind, resourceful person in selecting wigs, Amanda is the one. Ms Amanda - thank you again for your help and kindness in my time of need.

Terrible, the lady in the wig department followed my mom and I around. I took my mom there to find something nice for her birthday. What a waste of time. Discrimination at its highest level, just terrible. Walked out the door on that note. Will not tolerate it.

I have been patronizing this beauty supply for many years, the staff is pleasant and they carry a great quantity of hair and beauty products its not much you cant find the prices are fair for most products. My only concern is that they should offer a greater variety on wigs and Lace Fronts. I was a bit concerned that this company are still selling wigs that have been touched and c tried on. That is not safe at this time with the PANDEMIC. They actually are only offering 10% of used wigs thats not ok. I refuse to purchase a product out-of the package especially at this time. Consumers actually should not be allowed to try on products at this time for safety reasons.

Amanda is great at this store, and they have a huge selection, but it would be nice to see Black employees working and talking about our hair. Prices are high, and customer service is good every time I have gone there. Needless to say, if the customer service wasn’t good, I would leave with the quickness. I demand good service!!! I work too hard for my dollars, to be treated bad. Don’t accept bad service from anyone.

I have never worn a wig before but with thinning hair and a wedding coming up fast I wanted to try. I was recommended to this store for their large selection. The store is huge and has tons of wigs, extensions, all types of hair products, makeup, eyelashes... etc... etc. I dont understand some of the comments about customer service. A lovely Asian woman (Amanda) helped me and she couldnt have been nicer. She was knowledgeable, she made some suggestions, she put several wigs on me and showed me how to put on and remove wigs myself. She explained what you could and things you shouldnt do to wigs. I purchased a beautiful human hair wig and was given a discount. She trimmed the lace on the wig too. I was very happy with my experience here. It was well worth the drive from Milpitas and I wouldnt hesitate to purchase there in the future. Thank you again.. Amanda!

Beauty Supply Warehouse in Oakland, never closed during the covid-19 pandemic. Im not sure why, the stay in place orders only apply to certain people, but not to Asian store owners, that is strange. The service was the same. the store owners are not friendly they are only after your money they dont care about you. the prices were double.

My fave shop in the Bay thus far. Large variety of hair (wigs, weaves, braiding hair) and large selection of hair products. They are my one stop shop, especially when I’m being indecisive about what direction I’m going with my next hair style.They don’t allow large bags and have lockers in the front of the store. Plenty of parking and usually there’s always someone available to assist you if need.

Very big store with alot of products. Nice and clean .Shelves. Very organized.Customer service is bad. No help . They watch you just walk around. Until you actually have to walk up to them an say something.

This is a nice spacious beauty supply. Ive been coming here since I was a kid. The people who work there are really nice and helpful and Ive experienced a lot of rude owners at beauty supply stores so I appreciate them. They have a lot of nice supplies there in a lot of categories.

This is my favorite beauty supply store specifically for crochet hair/braids. With a wide selection of styles, length and colors one can find what theyre seeking easily. Staff are very helpful in assisting you to find items that you need.

This place and the people that work there are so rude!!!! About 95% of the people that shop there are African-American. for what we pay for in that shop and predominantly most of the people that probably use the product is African American. The parking lot is not paved, the outside of the facilities looks like a rats nest and the surrounding area looks better than this shopping center somebody needs to talk to the Oakland City officials and tell them they need to upgrade. For people that put so much money in shopping in this place its ridiculous how it looks It needs to be black owned.
