Well, Im a fairly low maintenance woman, but I do have an interesting hair do. I learned about Ebony from a beautiful sister who had knee length dread extensions. My dreads are only 18 long but i do enjoy a pop of color. Enter Ebony. Lots of choices, decent prices and tons of incidental items for sale that make a beauty supply store an important part of styling a look.I bought orange-red dreads, bright blonde dreads, a faaaabulous REPLICA Burberry plaid bucket hat, and bright white polish. Staff were kind, knowledgeable and the shopping atmosphere was friendly and comfortable. Brightly lit, pretty items and good presentation of goods. Enjoyable experience. I would shop here again.

One of the better well-stocked beauty supplies in East Oakland unfortunately covid has everybody coming in at intervals so you may have to wait a little while before you get in the store but theyve got a decent selection of products for our ethnic brother and sisters to choose from in terms of hair care products and hair care items

One stop shop. Old faithful ebony’s. They always have what I need. And always have answers to my questions very knowledgeable of their products.

I don’t know why people lose it this place. The people in there always kind they go over and beyond for you and it’s just a wonderful place. I don’t know why they had to go onto it up I mean stop it this isn’t how it should be at so irritating the saluting this riot in taking people things from their property and it’s just terrible.

Beautiful experience

The associates are very kind, respectful and practice social distancing, provide security, and disinfectant when entering the establishment. They also have everything that you need and have discounts based on the amount of purchases made. I really love and respect this establishment greatly.

There is a large selection of products including hair extensions.

They always have what I need... at great prices too! I just hate getting around to parking due to all of the road construction going on.

I had to stand in line like I was in a communist country. when I got inside all of the prices have been doubled. customer service is still not great in Asian stores but it is what it is.

One of the few black-owned beauty supply stores...Im happy to support this place. They have a good selection of hair care items and the owner is very friendly.

Selection is good. Parking is sometimes a struggle. Staff is helpful but dont buy anything if you think youll need to return or exchange especially hair products like sprays, gels, oils, creams, ect. I paid $12 for olive oil spray shine that my sis told me to get. Picked up the wrong one tried to exchange a few hrs later told them I got the wrong one and the manager turned me away. I ended up with something i didnt need and down $12. They should have had a final sale notice on the product.

They have all types of products. From wigs,hair extentions and brushes for less than a $1. I love i found some great items i needed for my hair supplies. The prices are good too. The have a 10%off deal right now. Just wish they had more rastafari brand products in my opinion. Girls get your shampoo to eyelashes here. Guys all your groom needs. As well as some little earing jewerly if you need it. Fir naturals looking to buy products with weird chemicals or ingredients in it. They do have a nice size section of oils, soild shea butters abd many other things.
