This Walgreens is severely understaffed. My vaccine appointment was scheduled for 7:00 pm, I had to wait for more than 1 hour. There were only 2 staff personnel fielding everything (prescriptions, walk-in and scheduled vaccines, phone calls, form intake). There’s a dozen people here waiting (standing) over an hour together with me with not many seats around. This is unacceptable. Walgreens HQ, please either staff up, or reduce your pharmacy/vaccine operating times. It’s not worth waiting!!
Poorly managed and staffed. What is the point of making an appointment if you are going to keep me waiting for 45+min past the time. Recommend avoiding this place if you can.
Do not waste your time calling this pharmacy because they will never answer the phone. They will let the phone ring and then put you on hold for eternity. And right when you think they might answer...they will hang up on you.
Ive been influenced by the Drug Stores inspiration. All of my orders were delivered on time and on budget. The accuracy of the tap, the materials used, and the execution are all superb. Thank you for taking the time and trouble to read this.
Worst pharmacy I have ever experienced.I have literally tried to call them for an hour about a prescription for a BRAIN TUMOR that they are over charging me for by $200 dollars and they refuse to answer.After the hold music, it rings and rings until they decide to pick it up and hang up on you.Transferring all my prescriptions to CVS.
DO NOT GO HERE FOR HAWAII COVID TESTING. Went here 3 days ago for a test. We were told 24 hours, 3 days later still not received at lab. They NEVER answer the phone. Cut you off after waiting forever. We had to go to airport for emergency test in order to catch our flight. Worst customer service Ive ever seen
Don’t bother calling they will just pick up and hang up on you. Or will put you on hold and if you wait long enough they will hang up on you still… terrible service.
Legit friendly staff but deeply disorganized and dysfunctional store. Not sure how it took me 30 min to buy replacement razor cartridges but it actually did.
Fine walgreens except for the pharmacy, which is slower than Gary the Snail frozen in carbonite
If you are older and need flu vaccine this is not an option. We made appointments online, printed up and filled out their questionnaire and went in. No, they didnt have that, no they didnt know when they would get it, and no they couldnt order it. And frankly, not their problem. The pharmacy guy gave me a possible location that we could try. I am really not going to bounce around, because COVID-19.
Drive thru is super slow. They do not pay attention to it at all. Avoid it if you can

My local Walgreens! Ive learned I can skip a trip to the grocery store by picking up milk or eggs here as well as all the other usual household items Walgreens is known for. I even started buying some of their clothes, what a time saver! I just met Adrianna at the cosmetics counter and she was so helpful and friendly, she really has a passion for helping her customers.
Walgreens should give us our money back instead of giving us those little coupon strips of paper that says if we buy this or that or anything within so many days we can get $2, $5 to $10, off of our next purchase. A few times I thought I was cashing those strips in... but staff said it will come out on the next purchase... I never ever saw that $5.00 or $10.00 that was suppose discount my purchase...JUST PUT THE Discount or cash back (MONEY) on our Walgreens Card...instead of wasting paper (little strips - coupons) I rarely get around to using those strips.. I lose money... Ive been feeling cheated and ripped off by Walgreens. So I tend to go to the other city and buy my stuff from Target who gives better discounts...On the spot...!!!

During my monthlong stay in Rockridge, this was the most convenient pharmacy and I can’t say I have any complaints. The pharmacy staff is generally pretty efficient, though not necessarily the most friendly or outgoing that I’ve encountered. That said, they got me what I needed quickly and without any issues.
Im currently in search for the 52nd Street Telegraph Walgreens corporate office to file a complaint ! I dont like it when I drive in the rain to a store at 6 minutes to the hour of closing and with 5 minutes to go the store has had the guard close up and lock the door.!! The hours of closing is 12:00am; not 11:55 p.m..
Customer service at this pharmacy is terrible. The pharmacy clerks act like they don’t want to be there. They don’t like you asking questions about specifics of a special authorization for meds. There are always delays when try to pick up meds. Clerks have a take it or leave it attitude. Pharmacy can’t keep accurate track of refill dates. Even though pharmacy is in a convenient location, I will be looking for another pharmacy for my family. I would never recommend anyone getting their meds there.
Reliable 24hr pharmacy, long pharmacy lines though- thats true. Easy to get to via bus.
I’ve been a customer here for 5 years. Pharmacy is understaffed, long lines, frequently find an erroneous pill in my pill bottles due to pharmacist error AND I’ve spent hours trying to reach the pharmacist by phone only to be on hold and subsequently hung up on each and every time. If a person with disabilities can’t physically walk in to speak to the pharmacist they will spend hours on the phone only to find no one will answer. This is unconscionable. ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE.
This place brings ideas of Soviet Union queuing to mind. Its totally understaffed and what staff are working are constantly being distracted by the drive thru window. Moreover once youve waited the requisite 20 minutes in the line, theres a good chance youll be denied service at some level.

The pharmacy staff are rude and incompetent. They tell you to come back in an hour and then still dont have your prescription ready. You ask 3 times how much is this going to cost and they wont take the time to answer. this is a terrible pharmacy
I went into the 5505 Telegraph Ave Walgreens today looking for an eye glass repair kit. Before I could pass the register, I hear a person (the acting store manager) tell security that I wasnt allowed in the store. I was confused, security was too he had a puzzled look on his face and went to confirm what the manager told him. I told security that Ive come in to the store maybe once or twice and that Ive never caused a problem. I asked the manager for an explanation but was ignored and never got a response to my inquiry. Not wanting to cause a scene I left the store and came home to write this review. Store security was very polite and respectful the store manager was however not courteous or professional. If she (the store manager - I wasnt able to get her name) is a representative for Walgreens then they are not being represented well and have a lot of work to do.

Stay away from this location. Staff is completely overwhelmed. Everything is locked away and you must sit and wait for someone to come. Avg. wait time per visit here is about 30-45 min depending on what you need.
