Best taro milk tea in town! Real ingredients - no powders, just tea and yummy chunks of taro. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. Charming mom & pop shop - an absolute gem.

I am not kidding when I say that this lychee smoothie (no pearl) is the best I’ve ever had!!! Fresh lychee, no powder or syrups!! 😋

I found this boba shop 1 week ago and my boyfriend and I plan on going every weekend this month. You can definitely tell the smoothie is made of fresh fruit and its very refreshing. Weve tried taro, lychee, avocado, and mango. Every drink was delicious. Among the many boba shops in the area, The Sweet Booth stands out for sure. Their last day is on 10/31, so be sure to check them out!Update 10/17/2021One thing to note is that it is a small shop meaning that there are only 2 people there doing everything that needs to be done to make the drinks. In the past, I have waited up to 30 minutes for my order, but it is small sacrifice for really good boba. If youre concerned about the wait time, go closer to when they first open. I went again today at 2 and waited not even 10 minutes.

The taro was amazing! Chunks of real fruit in it. No fake or chemical taste. So impressed!

After having Chinese Food we wanted something sweet and we found this little spot in Oakland. They have enough seating for 2 families (literally). But, its ok because this place is only good for a quick stop cause have ice cream, pearl smoothies, shave iced drinks, home made iced coffee, vita drink and more. They serve their drinks with fresh fruits. Loved the pearl smoothie and ice cream only down fall is theres only 1 person working (very nice man) so when theres a line it may take a bit to get your only :).

Yummy durian smoothie with real durian fruit! I would visit here as a kid and order their avocado smoothie, equally yummy. Try the taro smoothie too! Everything here is delicious, the owners are very friendly, and I without a doubt would visit again.

Sweet Booth is housed inside the mini food mall in Oakland, Chinatown and is located on the ground floor. The owner is cheery and very kind. I like the quality of their drinks and their boba are softer than most places, which I really like. If youre in the area, stop by for a sweet drink. They also serve some awesome-looking, fresh fruit smoothies and homemade favorites like taro with bubbles.

Love their taro smoothie with sago. They only half blend it so you still get some chunky texture. They only use fresh fruit so much better than all that sugar based stuff from Quicklys.

BEST Avocado pearl or any other pearl drinks. They also give you a stamp card which gets you a free drink after 10 bought drinks. Staff is great and I would definitely come back here.

The tapioca here is too soft because my teeth easily slices through them without give; they don’t the the chewiness that I like. The upside is that the drinks are mixed very well. The man behind the counter carefully measured all ingredients and even tasted them to make sure they were ok before handing me the finished products. The drinks are tasty and I’ll be back for them if I’m in the area.

I worked next door of the sweet booth for years and tasted all drink places in oakland Chinatown. The owner only use the fresh and true ingredients that no other shop does. Try it. You wont be disappointed! Best drink place in oakland Chinatown.

The drinks are really good and i like that they use ice cream. However, their prices raised. 5.75 for a pearl milkshake? Thats pretty ridiculous considering there are plenty of competition around the area.

This drink shop opened its doors for the first time about 20 years ago in 1993. It never uses any concentrate or powder to substitute fresh fruits actually used in the drinks. Great variety including avocado, red bean (not only fruit), honeydew, mango, etc.

This place has been around longer than the new boba tea shops. Their menu has grown and youll see they added it with hand written papers posted on the wall. They have a good selection of fruit drinks.

The mango smoothie with boba was ON POINT.Definitely tasted the fresh fruit and the fact they used mango ice cream put it over the top. Plenty of boba that were perfectly cooked.Its a small shop thats always super busy, but I came at night and it was empty.50 cent charge for credit card transactions!

A convenient and cheap boba stop that is a good alternative when the ITea line is long. Although the ingredients arent as fresh- the Hong Kong Milk Tea here is almost perfectly executed: strong, simple, and a refreshing pick me up when walking around the mostly grungy Chinatown of Oakland. They have a wide variety of milkshakes and other juice drinks as well, though I would pass on the juice as it doesnt seem fresh.

Their avocado smoothies are to die for delicious. Please visit, theyre not too busy and the prices arent bad. :)

Left us there for 10 minutes and forgot our order. Bad service. Drink was sloppily made. Shouldve gotten our money back. We even left a tip and they still forgot about us. So rude. Ruined our day.

My absolute favorite place to get a boba. If you ask me its better than tpumps, quickly, tfm, and bb tea station. They dont use power stuff here, they use really strawberries and ice cream. So you can almost call it a desert. Its reasonably priced and youll definitely leave happy afterwards.
