We recently purchased furniture and accessories from the Ocala store. Our sales person Craig was great. He was very knowledgeable. We are super happy with our couch, chair, kitchen set and bedroom dresser. We still have pieces coming in August, I am confident that they will be quality, as they are part of the collection we purchased from. The accessories we purchased look amazing as well! Craig advised us on the accessory club savings. Super happy we went for it, the pictures really transformed our space in a fantastic way!The delivery people have been great too. No banging into the walls, they cleaned up their packaging messes.But to me this is the most important, most valuable thing from our experience and this review. Today when the couch and chair came, the delivery was brought in by a man and his two sons. It was great to see that in todays world! Family working hard together. It prompted me to write this review because of all of the positive, that was the most positive of all! It is more valuable than any material thing we purchased.

First time was the charm in this case. As we entered we were pleasantly greeted by Jonnell Johnson, Sales Associate.She asked if she could assist us in finding the items we were looking for. Got everything I wanted. No muss no fuss. No hassles. Wanted a mattress as well. Was gonna get an expensive one. Salesman showed me something, wayyy cheaper. A thousand dollars cheaper. He definitely did me a favor. Nice firm mattress. Thats the ticket.

This was our second time attempting to purchase furniture from Rooms to Go. The first time they refused to allow my mother to use her Rooms to Go Credit card saying it was fraudulent when she was right there with her ID.This time my mom decided to return against my recommendation. She ordered her furniture, everything seemed to go smoothly. On delivery day the delivery driver called and asked did she have a pick up truck to come pick up her furniture from the end of her dirt road.My mom is elderly and does isnt able to lift any furniture nor does she own a pickup truck. She paid for delivery as well as assembly and they would NOT deliver her furniture. She had already given away her old furniture in expectation of the Rooms to Go following through on their end of the purchase and agreement.When she called the store someone told her they have a smaller truck and would send it out on that truck. Then someone else said they couldnt deliver her furniture. My elderly mother had to come into town, sit and be told different things by this store until finally they out right refused to deliver her furniture. If a semi with a mobile home can go down her dirt road, her shed came down that road the exact same day, AND UPS can deliver down that road I am not sure why that rooms to go truck couldnt make it.Marion county is a very rural area, we are mostly dirt roads and horse farms so for you all to out right refuse to deliver her furniture was unprofessional. Them refusing to deliver her furniture caused a hardship on her and caused her to go long without furniture.

Our sales associate was extremely helpful in fulfilling our needs. He showed us all the options available for the limited space we needed furniture for. No hassles, no fuss, quick and easy. I would definitely return to this store.

Do not order from this company unless you want to pay for damaged furniture and bad customer service. I paid over 5 thousand dollars and each and every one of my pieces that came were damaged. I have had to set up 4 returns because each time they come out to deliver it again, guess what… it’s damaged. This company has no empathy for their customers. There is no customer service what so ever. On Tuesday, I had another attempt for my furniture to be delivered and it was damaged. The driver told me “yeah this set is known to damage easily” REALLY?! so my furniture that I paid 5 thousand dollars for is cheap (came out of their own employees mouth). I will never purchase from this company ever again. Worst experience I’ve ever had. It’s now going on 6 months and I still don’t have my furniture. It’s a shame.

So my story starts last weekend when my boyfriend and I walked into rooms to go. Since rooms to go has financing options we knew this would be the best way to get a bed right away. Upon our entrance into the store we were greeted by Philip who was so nice and very accommodating to our needs. He asked us what kind of firmness we wanted for the bed and then proceeded to show us the options they had. He gave us great details about each bed and then went over pricing and payment options available to us. We took his card, and pictures of the beds, then went home to figure out what we wanted to do. During the week I went online to apply for the financing which literally took less then 15 minutes to fill out. The next weekend we headed back to the store (to find Philip) so we could proceed with our purchase. Philip wrote out the order and set us up with the delivery details, then turned us over to Fred who finished up the financing. Fred set up the payment plan and went over other questions we had which took another 15 minutes. So within 30 minutes of waking in the store we were on our way out with everything ready for our new bed.I really cannot say enough about how quick this whole process was and how friendly the staff is. Based on my life experiences with sales people I really havent had great service like I did at rooms to go. We for sure will be returning wherever we need new furniture for our house.If you are in the market for furniture you should start your search at rooms to go because they not only have a lot of options but the process is quick and the staff are the best.Thanks rooms to go for an experience that wont soon be forgotten.

My husband went into Rooms To Go this morning to check on info on a king size bed. He met with the store manager, George Rodriguez. My husband left, pleased with his information. Later he went back with me to the store and met with Mr. Rodriguez. We cannot say enough about our experience. Mr. Rodriguez was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained everything about the mattresses, bed, delivery, etc. The whole experience was nothing but an extremely positive one. Bought four glider recliner chairs off of Rooms To Go. One is broken. Have been waiting for over a month for a repair to take place. Manager Mark did not return phone calls. Can’t get ahold of anyone in customer service. Very poor customer care and do not recommend this place to anyone. The chairs are of very poor quality at a premium price!

I will highly recommend Rooms to Go to anyone who is looking for furniture and sales staff who are friendly and professional.

Furniture is as expected of course, its Rooms To Go. However, the staff is amazing and accommodating. We walked in on a whim and purchased a sectional for our new home without having the measurements of the area. Upon delivery the couch was extremely large for our living space. They not only allowed us to exchange the piece but they came back, picked it up and brought the new piece. I dont love Rooms To Go quality furniture as a whole, I prefer more unique pieces this the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, but if I were looking I would consider the Ocala store again in the future.

This is a nice furniture store with reasonable prices. Be prepared for a long wait for delivery of bedroom sets. The staff is friendly and helpful without being pushy. Be prepared for a sales person to approach you the moment you enter like a car dealership.

The Ocala store has a large selection so you can see what youre getting before you order it. I visited the Ocala, FL location and I spent 25 minutes in the store. I counted 7 employees with tablets working on the floor. There were 5 who saw me into the store, (no customers) they did not greet me, smile at me, nod, nothing. They had no customers, but were looking at other customers to approach. I even circled a couple of them on purpose and none wanted to sell furniture to me today. So sad the world of Google reviews are going see this and order their furniture on line instead. Thanks for that option RTG because your showroom staff really sucks. The other 2 employees were actually doing their jobs with customers, but none acknowledged me the entire 25 minutes.

We recently purchased a living room set and once delivered it was obviously too large for our living room. We called customer service and were told we needed to go to the store and they would help us. Well we were plesently surprised of our outcome! We were helped by George in their customer service department and he was very understanding and helped solve our problem. We have a new set of furniture coming! Thank, George, for you help!

This furniture store is amazing and the salesman Bill had patience beyond anyone I have ever met. I bought a living room set, kitchen table set, and bedroom set today. I was treated with kindness and knowledge from our salesman Bill. I still need other furniture and will only buy from this store for now on. Great selection and best prices by far. I went to another furniture store and left quickly. I recommend this store 100%. I cant say enough good things about my experience today. Rooms to Go delivered my new couch yesterday. I could check the status of the truck since the morning. They arrived during the time frame for the delivery. Quickly instalation and respectful crew. As soon as they left I received a call from RoomstoGo, checking how was the delivery and if we were satisfied. Excellent customer service

Staff was helpful but didnt hover. We were given the space to make our own decisions but when we had questions our sales person was readily available.

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! I will never buy anything else from here! I ordered a bunk bed for my kids. After paying extra for set up and waiting, (because all the ones I wanted were on back order) when they finally came to deliver and set the bed up they didn’t even have all the parts. I’ve been calling customer service all day with 2 hours on hold and no help! I just have bed parts sitting around. Pick anywhere else but here!

Our Cinder Crawford Home Bella Gray Leather Power Glider Recliner reclined and stopped working. We had a appointment to get it fixed after emails to the company service because of being told it would take at least 1-2 weeks before a repair man could give us service. Well here we are waiting for the repair man to come and all we got was a call of cancelation. They said the repairman could not make it do to him being sick. With the chair still in the reclining position for the pass 5-6 days they informed my wife we have to make a new appointment. Your Company is very big and only have one service tech. I believe we are getting the old saying the check is in the MAil xxxxxxxxxxx. We even purchased the extended warranty which must be another joke because the purchase warranty does not even being taken care of in a fair amount of time. Your service tells me to shop some place other than Rooms To Go. (THREE MONTHS LATER )Its been three months and we still have not had the chair.fixed. The repairman did show up with nothing to fix the chair. He said the parts would be be mailed to me. A week later I received a phone call asking if the repairman was their which he already knew because he was checking before he mailed the parts to me which I would then have to set up another appointment to have them put in the chair, not knowing how long that would take since I was informed they only have ONLY ONE repairman to take care of Marion and parts of Another County. So If you need repair work dont hold your breath and expect to be not lied to.

Great experience shopping with a friend to find her new couch. They had plenty to choose from and the delivery time was the shortest compared to other furniture stores in town. Our sales lady was easy to work with and super fast putting the purchase order together.

Salespeople are great BUT there is NO customer service after the sale!! I ordered furniture 4 months ago, one piece was delivered damaged. The delivery staff filed the damaged and we were told that a replacement would be sent. Never arrived. Online chat transfers you to the same customer service call number that NEVER answers the phone. Online order status on website does not work.Save yourself the drama ans BUY ELSEWHERE!!

My experience with rooms to go its been the worst furniture store I have ever delt with, I bought over the last 30 years from Hoffman cuff, semans, lazy boy, and even smaller names. But I can honestly say this is the worst store I have ever, ever delt with, had my dinning table replace twice and the table base once and still waiting for second exchange, 2 months and still wating for my server, !3 months before I can get the dressers for both of my kids rooms, and not to mention the worst customer service department ever. I have left so many messages so many email and, the text service !OMG Im gonna figure a way for all to be picked up and get back my $6,8000.00 back the worst the worst. 4 going on 5 weeks and no answers. We understand they receive commission and wish to sell products but he did a great job balancing himself in a way that wasnt too pushy yet showed he was genuinely there to help us. Very personable. On February 27, 3021 my wife and I went to Rooms to Go in Ocala on 200. We were there for over an hour. We were looking for new living room furniture. We found some things we were interested it, however none of the sales men would help us. We found several setting in a small groups off to the side. They were just BSing. They didn’t have time for us. I told two of them I quess we will have to go to Kane’s and see if anyone there wants to sell us something. We went to Kane’s Furniture but did not find what we wanted, they did help us right away. We left Kane’s heading to Hudson Furniture. We had to drive past Rm 2 Go so we thought we would give them one more chance. We walked in the door and there were about 6 salesman standing off to the side talking. Several saw us but made no attempt to see if they could help us. Then one salesman noticed us and came over his name is William. William was very helpful. Were able to purchase the sofa and lamps we wanted for $2169. We had purchased an entire house full of furniture in the past from Rm2Go. Thank you William for your help and undivided attention.

I first went to Rooms to Go knowing I had to basically plan and select furnishings for a new home construction. After getting off to a not great start w a male salesperson, I ran into Leslie Paleos in the parking lot. She answered a couple of questions for me and it was all go from there. I knew she was exactly who I needed to help me get this project sucessfully completed. I had already toured the store and was going home to do planning and searching online. She gave me her cell no. and I was able to text her many questions. She could also look up and see if items I was interested in could be seen at any other store.We met in person several times to review and discuss my choices. She was also very helpful when I needed to select a mattress. Within 30 minutes we had narrowed down to 2 or 3. We went back and forth to each of them for about another hour with plenty of time to actually be on the matresses. When the time came to do the actual ordering, she and the managers George and Mark were awesome. This was a very big project that sometimes seemed overwhelming. Leslie helped me w my choices and encouraged me to trust my own judgement and not second guess myself. I truly cannot imagine doing this without her. She has assured me that as the order is delivered, she will continue to be available if I encounter any problems. I would def recommend going tonRooms to Go in Ocala and asking for Leslie. And oh, by the way, their furniture is beautiful and reasonably priced. Also would like to thank financial person, Sharon who got all the financial paperwork in order in a very timely manner.

Was there to buy a bed, walked the whole store, passing all employees there, tried every mattress on the floor - went back to a couple of them. Not one employee acknowledged we were there! No hello - nothing! As we were closer to the door, a family came in and stopped near us and were immediately approached! My daughter & I looked at each other and simply left. Obviously we would have been a bother. Thanks anyway, enough other stores out there who want my business.

*update* we had to send back the 2nd couch they brought, it was broken. Took weeks to get pickup scheduled,they Sent someone to fix it. Couldnt fix it. Couldnt take it either. Head to wait. They gave us a hard time about picking up a dresser thsy we told the original crew we didnt Want. Returning and customer service at this place is awful. My original review was 4 stars,but in dropping thsy to 2 stars based on all the issues we have had. I spent $10,000. Younwould think theynwould make things at the very least, FRIENDLY. Not here. the original salesperson was horrible. When we went back to close the deal, got someone else. A normal person. Closed the deal, all was good. Delivered the furniture, wrong couch. 🤦 Delivered correct furniture 5 days later. Delivery people were super inexperienced and the man dripped sweat drops all over the furniture and my house, it was disgusting. The furniture store itself though, great selection and quality was great. Despite the other stuff, we will continue to use them. I really think they should tell the massive sweater, to wear a head band.

I’ve just spent another Saturday in Rooms To Go buying for my house. Leslie has been wonderful, she has helped me pick out everything I’ve bought. I recommend all my friends to her and my boyfriend bought furniture from her as well. Leslie is awesome. She knows everything about all the furniture in the store. Today I bought a mattress with the electronics for the bed to raise and lower at the head and legs. Leslie knew everything about every mattress in the store. Leslie always tries to help me make the best deal possible. Rooms To Go has a great selection for anything you’re looking for.

I stood at the entrance for 15 minutes waiting to spot a sales person that was not busy. A lady walks in and 2 sales people that I thought were customers jump up and say Can we help you? I raised my voice and asked Am I invisible?. I told them to shove their customer service and I went to Ashley. They were glad to take my $3000 for furniture. I will never go to Rooms To Go again.

I would like to say the manager George Rodriguez went out of his way to help me with my motorized love seat. He helped get the parts I needed to repair the motorized parts of my love seat.George called me several times to keep me updated. Then he even called to see if my love seat was functioning again.Manager Mark also was very helpful in showing me how to repair the love seat. I have been a RTG customer since the 80s.I will never shop anywhere else. These two managers should be recognized for their exceptional customer service.

So disappointed-I had a very specific couch in mind and drove all the way down to Ocala to see it.I met with Arna, and eventually made the purchase online. I never received a receipt, until I called the store for it.The told me there would be a 2.5 month wait for the couch, but I really wanted it at the time, and I blamed Covid.When I went to the Gainesville store to add the protection plan, I was told there was a lifetime supply of furniture cleaner I was never told about. ISo here I am almost 3 months later on delivery day, I was so excited about this piece, but, the couch doesnt fit in my place, I have not received any documentation from the movers, corporate, or the Ocala office showing the couch was never delivered or I will be getting a refund.They have over 1k of mine and I have zero documentation I will be getting refund after multiple calls with the office manager, and corporate today.They showed zero motivation to have me purchase another product, as such I will not be buying again.

My husband and I went to just check out prices on beds, we were unsure what kind we wanted. But we met a wonderful woman named Leslie. She took the time to tell us how store was layed out, made some recommendations, talked about prices and what not. We did get a new bed. Leslie was extremely helpful, kind, made sure to help with finding a great bed for a great price. I would recommend finding her to help with anything in the store.

I’ve been searching all over for a new bedroom set and I called in because it just seems like every time I go to a rooms to go they never have the set I’ve been looking at in store and I hate order stuff online sometimes and so when I called in Katelyn in the back office was amazing at listening to me complain lol but Her phone skill were awesome, she made sure I was a happy customer. I’ve called other stores and talk to people and they not even seem like they wanted to help me but she did. All and all great experience. I look forward to coming in and purchasing soon

It was a great day walk in someone ask can I help you sad what I was looking for and there it was the gentleman was very nice and helpful explained everything and we were happy to get what we wanted and thank you to that nice man that helped us

Sales rep did not seem to be happy to be their. Was not helpful. We found what we came to see and left. Also we had our masks on but sales help walked with their noses showing. Dont u think sales help should be wearing their masks correctly. Real turned off.

Nice the display of furniture and met a nice salesperson shes definitely was very sociable and I wish I could remember her name because she deserves a raise I was there visiting with my brother and sister-in-law

Some nice furniture and some of it is not really good quality stuff. If you dont care about spending a fortune or like to decorate every 5 years this is for you. Mostly contemporary .

Worst customer service ever ordered online no email or phone call saying I needed to be there to sign for delivery just the day an time it would arrive. Driver got there an called me an said he’s there an if I didn’t sign he was taking it back with him I said I can try to get someone there to sign I needed 20 min he said that was to long an asked me to open my garage threw my phone I said sorry I don’t let anyone in my garage I don’t know he got all offended I said that and took the product back with him an now I need to take a day off work and drive a hr an a half to go get If I don’t cancel the order. Will never buy from them again
