Dont leave your jewelry for resizing or repairs. Not ready when promised no call to indicate a delay as promised. Was informed that they had at least 50 back orders so they dont have the time to call everyone. The sales clerk telephoned the shop and let them know that the order had to come at the next promised date, as the customer was upset. If they knew they were behind just give realistic return dates. Then you know what to expect. Wedding rings are important and when not returned as promised it causes concern. The sales clerk was great.
Had my wedding ring re rhodium coated. Third time in 16 years as the coatings wear thin and the gold shows through. No cost to me.
For one they NEVER answer the phone. Two separate occasions 6 months in between and same issue. I call the number that comes up and nothing. I call the mall and use the store directory to get to them and same. No answer ever. Also I’ve gone into the store twice. One was right when it opened after COVID so super busy I understand. They weren’t that friendly or welcoming to us. Then it was 6months later to get my ring inspected, had an appointment. Got there and no one said hi or greeted us. A group walks in after us and they get greeted and told they’ll be right with them so I speak up and say Hi and that we have an appointment. All si got was an “Oh ok” then a few min later they ask for my name and took the ring. Just so disappointed that our local store closed. We went to Zales for every occasion. All our jewelry is from Zales. We had our special sales associate and now it just sucks. We drive an hr for bad service and rude behavior.
We had such a great experience at Zales today! Teresa B was wonderful :) She was very knowledgeable, nice, and she helped us both find our new wedding bands! She went above and beyond
Very helpful service to get you the jewelry you want at a price within your budget.
Look for Laury,u wont regret. Shes the best person u could ever meet!!
Love the experience every time I visit.
I have been a client for years, I go to get my jewelry (that I bought there) and there is no one in line and I see a paper note that says inspections by appointment M-F 11:00-6:00. A worker comes to the rope and I say since no one is here can you please do the inspection. He looks at me and says we cant break the rules. You have to book online 24 hours in advance. If the customer service is like this after the sale no wonder why there was no one in line to get into the store. This particular employee has bounced from jewelry store to store in the mall. If you want great customer service go see Kelly and her team at Kays they know how to treat people after the sale as well as before and during.
I have tried three different times to get someone to help me at this location, been ignored multiple times. Today I had a appointment set for an inspection, which I had previously called the store and booked it online. I get there and wait at the gate, and the lady treated my husband and I horribly. She first tried to ignore me. I said “hi, I had an appointment set.” She immediately got rude and said “for what?” I let her know that it was for an inspection. She said “I don’t understand we close at 6.”She didn’t even walk over to us. Didn’t even apologize. This is not the only time this has happened at this location and I’m incredibly upset about where we chose to purchase my ring. Will not buy anything again at Zales, but would like to keep my warranty and get some customer service.
One star is way too much. Absolutely disgusting customer service. My wife and I made and an appointment online as directed to by the employee when I called the store. We showed up for the appointment on time the gate was closed. The employees ignored us, then my wife got their attention by and the said “we are closed.” My wife said we made an appointment for 6 and are here on time. The employee said “what’s your appointment for” my wife said an inspection and the employee said “no we close at 6” and sat there. It’s literally baffling how atrocious the customer service can be for a luxury product in a nonessential service. If I was at a fast food place the DMV I would understand but for a a place like this. It’s baffling.
I bought a really good looking Movado watch today from this Zales in Ocala, Florida! This Zales has excellent products and outstanding customer service! The atmosphere is also really good!
Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful sales rep, taking the time to ensure a comfortable setting during this covid-19 time with extra measures of precaution.
Zales is an awesome store and Staff is always friendly and helpful. I would recommend all my Family, Friends and everyone to shop at Zales in Ocala, Florida.
Ocala Paddock Mall Zales personnel were very understanding of my caution to leave my diamond for repair. They explained the entire process and security to be sure I get “my” diamond ring back. I feel very blessed to find the same company my husband bought the diamond then the setting from at the same time I discovered a break in the band. It was all God!!
Excellent customer service. Always polite and very courteous.
My husband purchase a wedding enchanted set and it was 2 big they send it to get sized and they told us it was gonna take 2 weeks 3 weeks went by and I called and they were rude very unprofessional and when I said I was gonna call corps they hung up the phone before giving me the correct number cause I told them I was gonna put a complaint there for my experience was horrible and I will never buy anything from them again. They need training on people skills and they forget that paying customers or any customer anywhere you go there always right. If I could give 0 starts instead of 1 I would and I rate them a negative F on people skills.
They sure dont answer their phone!!!!
I arrived 15 minutes after closing to pick up a ring that had been resized. Frank, Cheryl and Lori were still in the store, kindly passed paperwork and item through the bars of the security door and saved me from having to make a long trip back to pick up my ring during business hours on another day of the week.
My husband purchased my wedding set at Zales in 2018 and it is a beautiful set! I couldn’t ask for better quality stones or design, however; the business practices regarding the store credit card is something all together different! The sales associate convinced us to apply for the store card, no problem until my husband paid it off earlier than the 12 months that the sales associate assured us was interest free! Turns out that although you may pay the balance off, you will still be charged the interest fee. My husband has paid the interest fee twice now and the balance is up $16.00, even with the ring having been paid off.Although the quality of the ring is great, the experience isn’t worth it to deal with the hassle of this hitting our credit. It costs companies a lot more money to send $16 to a credit agency than to write it off! This is one of the biggest problems in our country, cash used to be good as gold and now everything is credit. The truly sad part is when individuals try to get ahead by paying balances off to use that money elsewhere in their budgets only to be sadly misinformed that they are being charged some additional fee(s).I will never again buy from Zales just based on the poor/unethical business practices that they subscribe to and allow their CC to dictate. It is NOT acceptable to continue to take money from customers when you have been paid the FULL amount and then some, just to become more profitable. Until our society demands for these kind of shady business practices to cease, this will continue to be a problem for us. The government should NOT allow credit card companies to have so much power that “they” dictate the rules and we “the consumers” have so little say. What is wrong with this picture??? Shouldn’t the consumer be permitted to pay off a balance and not owe additional monies? When did this become “our” norm and why are we allowing this to continue as we all end up in staggering or revolving debt?I do not recommend buying from Zales just based on our experience which is sad considering I would not have chosen any other ring for myself. 😢T. I’ve been going to this store for years ...and love it.Everyone has a warm welcome and helps you to pick out the perfect gift
I am actually standing across from them at Kay Jewelers. I walked in with a smile. Older gentleman made eye contact with new and walked the opposite way. A woman approached me but she never looked at me as she spoke. Now as a black woman that made me feel like my money wasnt good enough. Im shopping for 2 very special ladies my mom and my daughter who was only given 4 hours to live. She is 5 today. I hope Zales goes back to the way customer service used to be. That snobby behavior has turned me from a company I usually go to for all my jewelry over the years.
Ordered a ring for my wife to be sent to your store for pick up today. There Was a salesman finishing up with a customer. After The customer left,I walked up to (Manny) And Informed him that I was there to pick up an item. He then addressed 2 customers that had just walked up, and asked if they needed help. They Were indecisive, And Manny then told me To wait... He Was very unprofessional about the situation.I was so blown away that he was more concerned with a sale, rather than assist the next customer. Maybe Because I was in my work clothes, He Stereo typed me. Because Of this I feel very uncomfortable to ever come to this location, or order items online. Was Happy with the merchandize but was offended by Manny, your employee.
Theres a whole lot of judging a book by its cover in there. Staff is incredibly rude and disrespectful.
Me and my wife have been using this jewelry for years weve never had a problem they do get busy and sometimes you have to wait but busy is a good thing
It is so beautiful and she loves it Arrived before Christmas
I brought my ring in for service and the woman who took care of me acted as if I was wasting her time. I attempted to engage her In conversation and she just could t be bothered. Very disappointed...
Very kind.
