I attended the CCW class today and the instructor Thomas was great. Hands on, knowledgeable, straightforward and left no one behind. Every detail from loading, cleaning, holding and firing a weapon was covered along with safety and situational direction. He made the actual firing at the range much more comfortable. The class blew by and at no time was I board. Pro-Firearms could charge much more for their service. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

If you’re looking for concealed carry classes or any other firearm training, Tomas is amazing! He kept me engaged throughout the entire class! I have been around, owned and used firearms for a very long time and he still taught me things I didn’t know.

Hands on training on multiple firearms. The class is completed at the range, where everything needed was included. What we learned in class was put to use at the range. Tomas is very thorough and very knowledgeable about guns and safe gun handling. Of course he sells other products too so he does advertise that a little bit throughout the classes, but he is nice and his voice is not annoying. He is passably funny, he stresses safety all the time and make sure we all feel comfortable around the guns. He gives us plenty of hands on time with all different types of hand guns and will work with you one on one if you are having any issues. At the end of the session, we go to a separate range to shoot. Good stuff.

I just completed the Pro-Firearms Academy course today with Tomas and it was excellent. He is very smart, experienced, and patient. He’s an excellent teacher. He is very clear and makes it easy to understand everything. We got to practice actual hands on gripping, loading and unloading several different types and sizes of firearms, with emphasis on safety~ and also had a class trip to the range to actually shoot. He gave us extra resources (websites, videos, insurance info, etc) for extended knowledge and competency. We received certified course completion certificates, filled out the Florida CCW application, photo, fingerprint cards, and mailing envelope for sending in your application. Overall an excellent experience. Highly recommend.

With brief range time after the class wrap-up, as well as the opportunity to fully complete Floridas application for concealed carry, his service provided everything I needed to get started. If you don’t have arms experience this is where you want to. Tomas gives a great break and the use of guns from revolvers to semi-automatics, he emphasizes safety, use (loading/unloading) laws and even actually discharging the weapon. You come out of the class with knowledge and confidence on weapon usage.

Concealed weapons course with Tomas is incredible! He is very thorough without being overwhelming. I walked into the class with very limited knowledge on guns and laws. He went over the gun, gun safety, and laws. The class was hands on. Practiced multiple times loading revolvers and semi automatic handguns. After the course you go to a shooting range during which he will give you more practice handling a gun prior to shooting. I recommend you pay the 20 bucks for the application while your there. He organizes your packet and facilitates the process. I couldnt recommend Tomas more 😁👍👍👍

I took a concealed weapons course here and it was amazing. The owner/instructor was very clear and thorough without being overwhelming. He gave a wonderful breakdown on various types of guns, the basic differences between them, ammunition and firearm anatomy, and Florida laws. We had the chance to actually learn hands on how to work a single revolver, double revolver, and 4 different types of semi-automatic handguns. By the end of the course, I felt comfortable handling a gun and I had never even laid hands on one before this course. We ended the day at the local gun range to actually fire a gun. I couldnt be happier with the course!

As the owner of a my own gun store, I worked closely with the owner of Pro-Firearms (Tom) and his girlfriend (Juanita.) These two people are nothing but trouble and are the greediest people Ive ever met. They are both completely unsafe with firearms and only out to make a quick buck at the expense of others. Dont believe me? Just do a quick Google search for the firearm or accessory you are going to buy from him before your purchase. His price will be unfairly high. Good luck!

I was very cautious about taking the class having no experience with guns or shooting guns...after the class I feel very comfortable and confident . Tomas is an excellent instructor. I went with a friend that was doing shooting practice that had the class at another place...she had learned far less than me. I would recommend Tomas very highly.

My husband and I took Toms course last week, and we wish we could give him a ten-star review instead of just five.The facility is clean and well-laid-out, and easy to get to. Tom is a very patient instructor, answers every question you have, and constantly stresses responsibility and safety - both yours, and that of those around you. He also walks you through the steps of applying for your CCW license, and provides the necessary forms and mailing materials -- all thats left for you to do is get your fingerprints done, and mail the application with the fee.This course is everything wed hoped a CCW class would be -- informative, thorough, and on top of that, enjoyable. Were both very glad we chose Pro-Firearms Academy.
