Its so good😭😭😭 I have lived in this area for years and only went recently after a friend convinced me. Now my daughter and I go every Friday after she gets out of school. It is seriously the best.

So disappointed they didn’t have any gluten free custards. Everyone that was able to order loved it though. Sad I wasn’t able to enjoy some too.

If you like custard this is your place! Ordering and picking up were fast. If I was looking for custard, this might be my go-to spot. With covid-19, their indoor seating is closed.If you’re looking for scooped ice cream, this might not be a hit. Was specifically looking for ice cream scoops in the area.

There is so much positive things I can say about quakes!! I have been here too many times to count and absolutely love everything I have so far tried from the menu! Everything is always top Notch and exactly how I want it!! And every body that works there is absolutely sweet and friendly and does not hesitate to make my order exactly as I request! I pray this place stays around for many many years to come! My favorite thing to get is the peanut butter Paradise quake with extra peanut butter and I add Oreos to it and my daughter loves the strawberry cheesecake quake with extra strawberries!!

Super yummy. The local donuts are amazing- recommend both the red velvet and the blueberry and absolutely get them warmed up. The Death by Chocolate was excellent.The staff was super friendly and patient as we werent sure what we wanted.

Situated in a comfortable location on I-90 (Bienville Blvd.) in Ocean Springs, MS, Quakes has some of the nicest folks serving up their treats and, although they would have no way of knowing it, some mighty sweet memories from my youth. Oh! Another perk--I love that the parking area is such an easy in and out even during rush hour.

Custard that they call Carson is not like car seat that Im used to this was more like a sorbet and it had ice chips all through it I will keep going. I would advise you to keep going

Ive lived in the area for a few years and never had the chance to visit this place. Im a sucker for ice cream and custard and was not let down by the quality and the options they have. Normally I have a picture to accompany a review, but unfortunately I ate all of my custard before thinking about it.

Nice custard, a little heavier than ice cream, but just get a smaller size, very delicious.

Frozen Custard is good. Lots of flavors and fun add ons to make a Quake, their frozen version of a blizzard.

The quakes are so tasty but it is pricey. $13 for 2 small quakes. But still very good!

Ive come here 3 times in the past 2 months. Their custard Quakes are fantastic! I always get a Mini size (which is a much larger serving of custard than the name might imply) and its a perfect little treat to end the week with. The fact that theyre open fairly late on the weekends means Ive always been able to swing by when I get a sweets craving but other similar shops are closed (but of course people should go at any time, this place is great).I tried a different custard shop one time to compare with Quakes and to me, theres no contest. For the same price you got more custard here, and it was tastier and theres so many more flavor options to choose from. They have different Flavors of the Day, and always offered me samples to help choose between all the tasty options.

This place is absolutely stellar! So many custard options in addition to other items. I highly recommend the banana custard, if its available when you visit. This place was so good that we made a repeat visit during out short few day stay in the area. Would have visited it more had we found it earlier in our trip. The staff were super friendly and engaging. As them for their recommendation, and they wont steer you wrong!

Quakes is a quirky little hole-in-the-wall place that serves custard (ice cream) and snow cones that are very customizable, and has a small food menu. Lots of choices, so theres something for everyone. Everything my family and I ordered was fantastic. The service was fast, and the employees were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. There are a couple tables inside and a handful outside. If you bring a marker, you can sign your name on the walls! They even sell tshirts for $15. Its a good hangout spot that I assume attracts a lot of regulars. Definitely worth a visit if youre in the area.

Homemade, unique flavors, quality ice cream and cool place where you can write on the walls. Perfect for a munchie run and I reccomend Death by Chocolate. Good choice after a day on the beach.

The pulled pork is delicious and the custard is creamy and delicious. They have some great toppings. We will be coming back.

I was hoping for real ice cream and not soft serve. The prices are good and the service was great. The kids do a good job getting the ice cream out very fast and they are friendly.

The treats were tasty but the guy making the stuff took a long time to put stuff together, messed up our order, and then didnt compensate us in any way while we had to wait for him to meander about to make it again.

Pretty good custard and nice staff. They let you try samples, which I havent found too much during COVID times. I got the black raspberry and my husband got the cheesecake, which is one of their top flavors.I think it was about $3.50 for a single scoop in a bowl.

The Frozen Custard makes the shake super smooth. I got a Mississippi Mud and it was delicious. Their mini size is plenty big enough for how rich it is. Will definitely return any time Im in ocean springs! It was the food highlight of our trip there.

Quakes is the best ice cream Ive had in South MS! Great Ice Cream, Great Malts, and Great Service all in a family friendly environment! Ive had their Brown Noser twice and both times it didnt disappoint. Im not a big Malt connoisseur, but my In-Laws and my wife love their Malted flavored Quakes. I will definitely be going back to Quakes and it is on my list of places to take visiting family while theyre in town.

Love this place! The owner and the staff always make me feel welcome and important. The ice cream is the best around and the food is also excellent. If you are in Ocean Springs you have to try it out!

I love the brown noser. Delicious warm brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, fudge, caramel and nuts.

Their custard is SO rich and yummy! They can get a little busy, but its so worth the wait!

Second time going, still disappointed. First time it was melted when they handed the cone to me, this time same thing but snow cone in a cup. Had to make another one then over filled it to the point had to dump some out after using paper towels to try catch the over flow.

For those that havent stopped by, think of a Quake as a McFlurry, but significantly better. The custard thats used is creamy, thick, and extremely filling. Be careful eating this before and/or after getting some barbecue from the Shed, you wont be moving for a few days after. I recommend you stop by and see what the hype is about, youll love this spot if you have a big sweet tooth!

What I had is called a Peanut Butter Paradise. It was chocolate ice cream with peanut butter and Reeses cup pieces mixed in. It was simply amazing. I got a medium one which is more then I needed. But I couldnt stop eating it. My wife and kids enjoyed it too. The guy that took our order was very knowledgeable about their products. He took a lot of time explaining our various different options. Everything was great, except for the appearance of the dining area. It was less than spectacular for sure. But I think it was meant to be that way. People wrote all over the walls. Its a kind of ambiance thing.

The is one of my favorite treats to go to, and its a mama papa ice cream store! Its original and cute just like the rest of downtown OS!

Great service and even better custard. My wife and I just moved from California and decided to give this out of the box ice cream shop. We were blown away by the manager and who we think was the owner. This place is fantastic and has a great atmosphere.

Best custard Ive ever had. Wonderful group of people working there. Only suggestion Id make it that its needing a redo on the interior. I love the concept of the writing on the wall, but personally would make it a yearly fresh start and maybe only one wall. Just an idea :)

A nice enough place for a summer cool down, but I left feeling kind of mixed. It wasnt a BAD experience by any means, the staff in particular were very nice. I just thought the ice cream itself had an odd consistency and kind of bland in flavor (I had the cappuccino flavor.)Ill definitely be giving a 2nd opinion one day, but I didnt leave overly impressed.

Who doesn’t love quakes? This was the first place we visited when we moved and we’ve been back countless time. The whole family each has their favorite quakes. My son actually loves their sugar free chocolate! Super fun place with amazing custard (and ice cream options). We love quakes!

My family and I have been to this place several times! Their ice cream is amazing and the staff is always helpful and courteous! This is a must go to if youre in Ocean Springs just to hang out! The kids absolutely love it and they can leave their name on anything in the restaurant.

They have an incredible variety of ice creams and shaved ice. Their ice cream is homemade and so creamy. The people are also super sweet. We were visiting and we needed to run an errand and then decided to have dinner but my youngest didnt finish his ice cream yet so we asked if they would be willing to hold it in their freezer for us until we got back from dinner and they did 😊

Went there for the first time today. Pretty cool little place. I ordered a Quake with a scoop of butter pecan custard and a scoop of chocolate custard. It was excellent! Their sign says they make their custards daily. They also have ice cream, and this place says it is an Ice Creamery. They had several additional toppings, such as nuts and fruits, but I did not get any of them. The customer in front of us says that one additional item is plenty if you order one. My wife got the mint chocolate chip and gives it a thumbs-up.
