I had a good experience of matching paint I have had on my walls for 14 years at the Sherwin-Williams store in Oconomowoc. I was worried it couldnt be done, but they provided me with 4 paints that will help touch up the paint put on 14 years ago.

Whatever you all put into paints and stains works so well (I use exterior stain on my house with painted trim), I dont have to redo the house for 8-10 years in our Wisconsin climate. Colors pop and dont seem to fade in the summer sun either. Plus, the store keeps what paint and stain I use in their computer so they can color match my formula perfectly.

I registered for the free color consultation in home and was very impressed with the representative who came to my home. I was very pleased with her suggestions and attention to detail

Because I go across the street to Hallman Lindsey & even though the store is not as clean & eye pleasing as yours, Im greeted with a warm welcome, smile & trained staff ready & willing to help. When I walk in your store it is very sterile & unwelcoming. Your staff do not appear to love or even like their jobs. Try it out once. Matter a fact the store in Waukesha is equally depressing. Send a secret shopper into the Oconomowoc & Waukesha store then go into the Hallman Lindsey store and you tell me!

Sherwin-Williams makes some of the best paint available. I switched to Sherwin-Williams paint at the suggestion of my floor finishing contractor; who said thats all he uses.Sure, it costs a little more than Hallman Lindsay, but the coverage is superior, by far. The cheap Hallman Lindsay paints I started with were like putting chalk on the walls--very dry, and when I painted over it, the new paint soaked right in. HL paints always required two coats; SW paint covered well in just one. With both brands, I put a coat of primer (Zinsser Bullseye 1-2-3) on the wall before applying color.Great customer service at the Oconomowoc Sherwin-Williams store, as well.

I wish I could give it no stars. Stopped in with my husband today to ask a few questions about paint and got a girl who was too busy making out with her boyfriend to answer questions and never said thank you or have a nice day. Very unprofessional, awful customer service, and totally inappropriate with boyfriend in front of customers.
