I love the Weis in Odenton. Their produce is fresh and the have good prices. I can always find what I want plus they have great markdowns.

I wish they had a better selection of items. Ive tried to go here for certain common things but they dont have them and have to go to another grocery store instead. Other than that, this store is great and convenient

My sister is seafood manager. This is my neighborhood store shop here all the time. Dont like the management but, their convenient.

This was my second visit, the store is clean, workers polite and helpful and I was very happy to shop there.

They have an ATM machine, Lottery Ticket Dispenser, and a great selection of fresh fruits and veggies! The parking is good and there are ramps to access the store!

The customer service here is the worst. If you can afford to go to the Giant, drive the extra 5 minutes. The cashiers never greet you, never say thank you and never smile. Horrible

Good selection of fresh produce. Everything else is fine as well. They are close by so thats nice but they are also a little more expensive then like Safeway or something. But thats the price you pay for a smaller local grocery store.

Since COVID-19, they’ve made significant upgrades to their entire store. More product offerings. Better isle arrangement and display. Would give them 4 stars but it reeks of old fish upon initial store entry 🤢

I have shopped here for years. I try other groceries but always end up back at Weis. The selections and prices meet my needs. The store is clean, and staff are friendly and professional. Its not glamorous but efficient. I also like the rewards program and the $2 off when I complete the survey.

Bleh- Typically I drive past Weis to go to other stores. Their produce is tough, have to make sure you pick through and inspect it. The Meat section is always a rough go. They don’t offer certain cuts, which is frustrating for people who like Meat. Prices are high for what you get, and most of the staff either avoid you or don’t crack a smile. I love getting eyes rolled at me, it’s my favorite...really makes you feel welcomed.

The customer service here is terrible. I was told the seafood section closed at 8 I got there at 7:50 and the old white guy was taking the seafood out the display case putting it in containers. I ask was I too late to get something and he said yes. I said its right there can you just put some in a bag so I can buy it. He told me NO. I walked up front asked to speak to a manager was told no because the manager was busy exact words was Noshe is busy. Im never shopping here again this is last time I get disrespected. I have had other bad experiences here and Im not going to spend my hard earned money here ever and neither will my family and friends.

I love Swiss Markets, unfortunately I have moved to a location where there are no Weis Markets close by. So it was a happy treat to able to stop in when going by. When I relocate again, Ill try to go to a place where Weis is close by.

Weis needs to take a serious look at who they entrust with management of this particular location and make the appropriate corrective actions.Original:I am a frequent shopper at Weis Markets but not usually this particular location, and since I was in the area, I decided to stop in to pick up a few things. The selection in the store is good but not great. Recently Ive noticed a drop in selection at Weis Markets across the board, not just at any particular location. I was able to find either what I needed or suitable alternatives nonetheless. Also, Id like to note that the star rating of this review is for this particular Weis Markets location and is not reflective of my opinion or impression of Weis Markets as a whole.After I checked out my items at the self checkout lane, I realized I had forgot one item. I returned to the shopping floor to find the item and visited a cashier to make the purchase since all self checkout lanes were occupied when I returned, a cashier was not assisting anyone at the time. Since this was a smaller transaction, I decided to pay with cash. Unfortunately, the cashier had very little cash in the drawer and was unable to make change for a $20 bill. To me, this is unacceptable. As the cashier walked to the service desk to get me the appropriate change, I overheard the lady at the service desk very audibly sigh and groan as if it was an inconvenience to provide the cashier with the appropriate change to give me. This ordeal continued for five minutes as I stood in line waiting to get change for a $20 bill, which was a blatant disrespect for the cashier and an egregious disrespect for my time. I do not blame the cashier in this case as he was assigned the register with literally no cash in it. I do on the other hand blame management for not having a pulse on the level of cash in each drawer. Historically, Ive had positive experiences at Weis Market stores but it is unlikely I will visit this particular location again. There are other grocery stores within a few minutes drive of this location that I will be giving my business to from now on.

This location is a disappointment. They are tiny and constantly discontinuing name brand items. If you only want to buy store brand this is a good place for you. Furthermore their fruit produce sucks. You need to use it as soon as you buy it. Thats assuming the cashier with huge fake nails doesnt stab it when she is bagging it. Its also assuming that when someone is bagging it they dont drop it in the bag and bruise it to hell.

Staff can seem short with you sometimes and some cashiers dont engage with customers and just see them as just another person in line.

Moved here in October 2014, watched this place grow. I asked a few times why no healthy foods section? Within a year, they added it. My go to grocer for weekly shopping. They offer extra military discount on Mondays and Tuesdays as well. Great job!

This grocery store isnt good or bad. It just is. I go here when I need something and its on the way, but I never choose to shop here. Sometimes the employees Ive had to interact with seem almost like theyre mad at the customers. The produce an baked goods are fine. The store is okay. The prices are fine. You get the picture.

Very clean and well kept neighborhood grocery store. Not the same family feeling that you felt when it was Mars, but still a nice place to shop. Weis reward card is a definite must have for most sale items, so if you dont have one yet then get one! Store has a pharmacy, does lottery & money orders, and has all the departments that you expect to find in a grocery store. Also in the rare occasion that the lines are too long, there are now four self checkout lines to better serve customers! Security guard usually on duty for safety ( but the one younger guy in the evenings always seems preoccupied chatting up with other employees and not really minding his surroundings...)!

I dont have much to report. I almost always have a good experience. Theyve come a long way in recent years.

Convenient, competitive prices. I would suggest more fresh products in the deli, sometimes look that they been there for a long time. Also a more friendly attitude from the cashiers also would be nice .

While convenient to home, I never walk out of this store with everything I walked in to get. Selection is minimal and some of what they do have, specifically meat and produce areas, severely lack inventory. I dont think theres been one time that I dont walk out of the store saying My God, I hate this store. The store in Laurel is 100 times better. Thankfully, that one is convenient to work and easy to stop by.

They have really fresh food and its reasonably priced, they also have great weekly sales. The lines are usually pretty short during the week Ive only been once on the weekend and the lines werent horrible but I prefer to go during the week.

Its convenient and they have good deals from time to time. The international section is pretty good. The Deli is slow and not great. Produce options are ok. Not too sure about the fresh seafood. Overall decent grocery store but dont expect anything fancy.

Weis has an interesting selection. Also, they give a discount to military, but still more pricey than Food Lion - hence the 3 stars. The produce and prepared food can hit or miss. Always check fruit and vegetables for mold - hence 3 stars. Sushi is usually decent, and sometimes they even have Hawaiian poke. Frozen seafood is a wide selection - probably best in the area. International aisles are decent as well. Udon and ramen selections are decent along with sushi making supplies.

I come here occasionally and they have good sales here and there customer service seems to be really good

This store is nice and clean, but theyre massively understaffed(or they dont give their workers enough hours) and they dont have enough self checkout lines(or ones that work very well). They have 8-9 registers, but there are NEVER more than 2 open, even in the afternoon of a Saturday 3 weeks before Christmas. This store is usually relatively busy. They only have 3 self check out lanes, and more than often one of them is shut down. I shouldnt have to wait 15-20 minutes just to check out myself with 4 items. Please hire more staff/give them more hours. This was unacceptable.

Overall a wonderful place my only complaints are that occasionally the produce isnt up to snuff and theres been a handful of times bread purchased here was moldy.

Its amazing that this grocery store stays open. Theyve got serious issues with cleanliness, flies, expired products, and prices mismatches.Some of the staff is helpful and friendly while others walk by spills on the floor or complain when customers ask for a price check.It has some of the basics if you need to pick up something quick, but buyer beware for opened or expired products.

Price is extremely high. Even when you use your Weis card there is no discount.They are a cheat and when you ask the cashier there was no discount they say I know its a RIP off....well thats just say it all.There is always manager shouting in the store at employees. Only one cashier at 3.30 PM. .no customer service to help. Every one is in a big line and people have to wait a long time.

Not as good as it normally is. Maybe due to the weekend. Using one of the self-checkouts, there was some difficulty and I had to ask for assistance. This happend several times, and the person was getting annoyed. Finally the problems oersisted even with her, so it wasnt all my fault. Finally I checked out, and when the receipt came out, it was blank, completely. When I mentioned it to her, she didnt even acknowledge she heard me.

No longer have baskets to carry small items. Interesting.

This place constantly has expired food, horrible customer service and a lack of cashiers. I also get overcharged constantly for things that are either on sale or that are rung up twice.The only reason I ever go to this location is because it’s around the block from my home. They definitely need to get it together.

Used to love going here, but then I started noticing everytime a black costumer goes to the self check out this white girl from the customer service that wears glasses comes out. I believe her name is Jennifer or so. It was first brought to my attention from my neighbor, so I went to see and it is definitely true. Talking to others in the store and they dont even bother going out thru self check-out anymore because they feel like theyre being viewed as criminals. Thank God for Giant right down the road.
